I thought there was a ton of beautiful and interesting science ocean stuff, I was so immersed! and to me all the flashbacks had bits to do with what he was learning or going through in the whale and I loved the closure he got… it all worked beautifully for me! maybe it’s better as a physical read? 🐋

I read Intercepts recently and I love it. Chapter 26 was like where shit starts to hit the fan and made me read it until the sun rose! Sorry about Tank, too. This is the reason why I even love them, itll be hard every single time they cross the rainbow bridge, Ill have a separation anxiety so Im not having one even in the future.
Hey Gabby, I am so sorry for your loss. My cousin lost two of her sons, aged 3 and 4. They playfully entered an unmoving car and locked themselves in and suffocated to death. Ive been really upset and your video somehow helped me not feel so alone ❤

When I read Whalefall last December I picked it up from my library not knowing anything about it. I was solely attracted by the cover and when I saw the publishing company I hoped it would play out in my head like a movie. I absolutely loved it. But I would have NEVER classified it as horror 😆Whoever did that definitely did the book a disservice.
omg rant time 'cause i have trauma with closet rods falling apart at my previous apartment too!! it fell like 3x & maintenance kept fixing it, come to find out they used super cheap/weak hardware & my stepdad had to install sturdier ones paid out of pocket lol it was SO frustrating so all that to say: i feel your pain.😂

I read “someone in the attic” and tbh i give it like a 1 or 2 star. It has the title of a goosebumps book and played out cheesy:( but “Darling Girls” was sooooo goood. That book was dripping with juice😱

I personally don’t think it’s nitpicky to dislike the narrator of an audiobook, it’s more unfortunate that you don’t vibe with them. I would still like to read Whale Fall as I’m not completely turned off from your review 🙂
