HIDDEN RESORT IN DAVAO! Beautiful Beach Coves in Baganga (BecomingFilipino)

  • THIS COVE IN BACULIN BAGANGA IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!
Davao Oriental is home to many amazing coves and coastlines. You may remember during the height of the pandemic, myself and the guys would hang out at a little wooden hut in Baculin? Well, that hut has now turned into a beautiful resort!
Hidden down a coconut tree road... this beach cove has a huge trench going right through the middle of it. The area could be beautiful for free diving, or just hanging out with family and enjoying the white sand and coconut tree overload! My lawyer friend's family actually owns this place, and it was so great catching up with them on this day!
Oh, and I found a great shake stand in Lambajon!!

Smoke that looks like fog is also created by charcoal making. Or lapog (burning organic wastes) which should not be done as it contributes to global warming. Init na kaajo. :)

Attorney Vic's beach resort is beautiful! I really like the construction of the buildings. They have such a warm feeling with all the natural materials. That would make for a wonderful staycation for people in the province as well as being an ideal resort for tourists. I'm sure the Becoming Filipino weekend will be a great success if you hold it there. Plus, it will be an excellent way to support your friend's business.🙌🤙

The one that there was a wood on the beach is used to be a board walk you went there 5 or 6 or 7 years ago 🪵🪵🪵➡🏝🏖⛱🌊🌊🌊
    And it changed a little.
And you insert a coin on an ATM machine to had a wifi on your phone 📱
And the wifi is really fast.
And the piso machine or ATM machine was invented in Quiapo.
And they had a hut that there is a bathroom on it 🛖🪣🧻🧼🚿🚽
And there is a window on the bathroom 🚽🪣🧼🚿🪟
And they had a wooden swing and you swing it a little high.
And you knew she was making a kinilaw with cucumbers on and onion it 🍣🥒🧅
You had some squid adobo and a left over rice AKA bahaw 🦑🦑🦑🥘🍚
And a pancit for long life 🍜
And they even had a business store or a sari-x2 store they had an instant coffee and a instant chocolate drink AKA milo and an crackers and instant noodles and a soy sauce and a vinegar and a canned corned beef and a laundry detergent and a juice in a can and a shampoo and an apple cider vinegar and a toothbrush ☕☕🍫🍜🍶🍎🍏
And you thought that the apple juice was an vinegar bwahahahahahaha 🍎🍏🍶
In Canada and US you had an apple cider vinegar 🍎🍏🍶
In the Philippines we had a vinegar made from sugarcane and coconut water 🎋🥥🍶
And you had an unripe mango and an avocado mango graham shake 🥭🥑🧋
And the stand was right behind the bay 🏝🏖⛱🌊🌊🌊
And they even use a mango graham shake like a mango float 🥭🧋
And you say to natural shake no to powder shake and you can find a real strawberry shake in Baguio or in Bukidnon in high elevation areas 🍓🧋
And you haven't post your video on your birthday you did Kumander's birthday first that you gave him a cake 🎂🍰

Inconvenient that the other 4 billion years of climate fluctuations were completely ignored here. Like periods of higher CO2 levels than post Industrial Revolution. But let’s blame humans cuz, well, we NEED to blame someone, right?

Please do call out people leaving trash on the beach, mountains, or simply where trash shouldn't be. I feel that Pinoys need to be reminded to respect the places they visit. It's very disheartening to see piles of trash on a beautiful beach. It's not even that they were washed to the shoreline. Clearly, they've been left there thinking someone else would clean them up for them. Just saw a video on 8miles about this. I think positivity is fine but sometimes people need a reality check.

These settlements in the eastern seaboard of Mindanao (in fact the whole Philippines) are a hit and miss sort of or playing with a Russian roulette with nature's climate changed typhoons. If you live in these areas - you accept the increasing risk of one in hundred year storms becoming more frequent. Accept this fact or build strong and with a very carefully thought of disaster mitigation and recovery plan... I have several designs already in mind when I build my retirement homes (one in a coastal area) and another in the mountains of MisOr. The most common element is for those homes to be disaster resilient (minimised damage and ease in restoration of normalcy, connection to outside word) and sustainable (energy efficiency and water collection, reuse, green solar/wind).
