I'm glad that you show the unsuccessful hunts as well as the successful ones. I know that we all have days that don't turn out like we would want it to, but these are the days that teach us about hunting. Thank you.
Great video can't wait for the next video so keep them coming. Tell your Dad congratulations on the buck and doe made it nice to shoot them close together
My season ends Saturday be living tru you then bud. Glad to see young men who don’t get afraid of the woods. I hope you make videos for a long time. God bless SY crew and family stay safe 👍🇺🇸🦌🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🦌
As someone from Ohio and whose hunted hunted whitetail all my life and have boon&crocket bucks on my wall my best advice is don’t rattle or grunt late season after the rut it just scares them and makes them timid best bet in Washington is timber creepin or spotting one
NICE WORK! I love it! Super stoked that you guys killed out! Great area to hunt too... Keep up the great videos brother. Your friend from Northwestern Washington, pnwfullstop
You keep uploading when my battery is dying!!! Lol. So here’s another like and I’ll follow up later. Thanks brother for the content. Love your videos. Until next time!
Awesome vids I enjoy them a lot. I hunt western Washington and never got a chance to hunt over there but I get the experience from you. Definitely should do a subscriber trip. Would love to tag along.
Bro take THE BEARED BUTCHER elk hunting with you. The two “guides” they have has no clue what they’re doing. PUT THEM ON! It’ll be a great collaboration.
man I love your channel your gear is dam amazing if you where me would you get the Diamond back hd 15x56 or 10x42? thanks for all your amazing videos wow.
@@SamongOutdoors thanks so much for your reply its an honor to speak with you. right now I have a pair of Bushnell 8x42 I paid maybe $120 for them 6 years ago are the vortex diamond back 10x42 really that much better and worth buying? thank you again very much.
hey brother would your dad want to muag his little fork buck's horn...i truly needed for a project.. those 2 little y fork is perfect for my project. here's a trick you can use to draw out deer in a bedding area or spot you couldn't get to... just fling rocks into tube area and watch what comes or goes out of places you couldn't get to.
No, my cousin wanted to test my Exo Mtn Gear pack so I swapped with his Mystery Ranch. I've never used a Mystery Ranch pack so I figured I'd give it a try too.
I’m curious if you carry a handgun while hunting. I justified buying a “ Glock 20 chambered in 10mm “ for self defense against wild animals while I’m out hunting. Just wanted to know if you had a handgun while you were hunting around those Wolves.
I swear all over the place there is a overabundance of does, but very ,very, very few bucks in comparison to the normal natural average ratios. It's rather interesting and strange to observe.
MURPHY'S LAW dictates that, "Before you can locate elk or deer, you first must find all the places where elk or deer aren't. Without going through the later, you will never reach your first goal."
You guys are really some tough hunters, don't think I could do that , hat's off to hunting like it should be , but remind me not to put in for that area, game is far and few between
When you saw that dominant buck and didn’t follow up on him because he was 40 yards past your intended limit, you arbitrarily just passed up an opportunity and kept glassing. The successful hunter makes these kind of sightings which are the difference between freezer meat or nothing at all. To each their own. Not going to try and figure this out, its a wasted opportunity.
The one that was 340 yards away. A spike got run off by another deer. In other vids, you made plans on the spot to get a shot, but in this vid you kept glassing. Anyway, its not to troll you. I just thought you passed up a gift. Too late in the day? Wind problematic? I just got done watching Cliff Gray in one of his vids talk about becoming one of the 5% that gets 90% of game by turning a little luck into harvesting the game he’s after.
@@johngeddes7894 Gotcha. The reason why I didn't pursue him was because it was two spikes. A spike chasing off another spike. I kept glassing because they were in a wideopen clearcut and I was trying to relocate them but never could again once they ran past the clearcut
My day automatically gets better when you upload!!!
I'm glad that you show the unsuccessful hunts as well as the successful ones. I know that we all have days that don't turn out like we would want it to, but these are the days that teach us about hunting. Thank you.
Content = 💯 love how you show the slow parts of a hunt. Keeping it real.
Great video can't wait for the next video so keep them coming. Tell your Dad congratulations on the buck and doe made it nice to shoot them close together

Glad to see the smoke has cleared and you have clear skies.
Because I live in Lyons ferry Washington about 25 minutes away from central ferry
Keep it real my man! Makes it way better! Keep it coming, you are an inspiration
a family that hunts together stays together.
Thanks Samsoon. Enjoy these and look forward to the next. Good to see a young guy like you out. Sorry about the wolves, they ruin everything.

He does it again :) Thanks for the great video bro !
Blue tongue has hit the Whitetails hard this year
We are moving to Washington and wondering what unit this is? Would like to find some public land to hunt
Was that a grouse at 5:10? You should have shown that adventure if it was!
That was just beef haha
Sweet!!
finally, been waitin on it
No tags on either deer. Ya know washington state required tags to be cut and attached immediately upon kill
Deer and elk are not attracted to Fire. :-) Love the video!! Thank you. (But I did see you get a bull last year lying next to your fire.)

Thanks for the support! If you want one for all-around purpose, I'd get the 10x42. The 15x56 are primarily for glassing on a tripod.
@@SamongOutdoors thanks so much for your reply its an honor to speak with you. right now I have a pair of Bushnell 8x42 I paid maybe $120 for them 6 years ago are the vortex diamond back 10x42 really that much better and worth buying? thank you again very much.
In BC Canada, we could see black tail deers very often, but very seldom see white tail deers.
Hey nice video I just finished up my late season archery deer are you up north past Spokane Washington
You said great video but you ain’t even watched it yet
It’s only been up for 6 minutes
@skankhunt42 😂😂
Another great video, looks like it was a successful hunt
Dislikes are from tag soup eaters

Love your videos. You need to be a full time youtuber!
Yes
Always thought making a fire could spook deer?
It can, but we've shot several animals while sitting right next to a fire. I shot my deer and elk last year while I was next to my fire.
What kind of scope are you using? I’m trying to finish up my 308 rifle and the last thing I need is a good scope then my hunting Rifle is done.
I'm running the Vortex Razor HD LHT 3-15x42 on my rifle this season.
Thank you of these!
Aye bro how much was ur 6.5 creedmoor by itself? Do you recommend it? I plan on getting the 6.5 creedmoor or a 350 legend
It was right around $1k. I love the X-Bolt platform. The Hell's Canyon model definitely gets a big thumbs up from me.
Fun stuff bud
SYO keeping me sane, during this week’s winter storm 🙌🏾
Thanks for sharing.
Did you get a hunting pack????
No, my cousin wanted to test my Exo Mtn Gear pack so I swapped with his Mystery Ranch. I've never used a Mystery Ranch pack so I figured I'd give it a try too.

It just depends on the hunt. If I'm carrying a rifle, I usually don't carry a handgun.
I swear all over the place there is a overabundance of does, but very ,very, very few bucks in comparison to the normal natural average ratios. It's rather interesting and strange to observe.
I think you should really put a gopro on your dad...would love to see his hunts. He always have luck on his side.
I would, but I doubt he would turn on the go pro lol.
Nice work!!!
Try to set one spot for the entire day without moving or making fire I'm sure you will see something...
MURPHY'S LAW dictates that, "Before you can locate elk or deer, you first must find all the places where elk or deer aren't. Without going through the later, you will never reach your first goal."
Funny thing is that I’m not even a hunter 🦌 yet I still thoroughly enjoys these vlogs...🧐

Hurry and please get the next video up
I know, I need to get back on it! Next one should be up soon!
No way u actually a big fan yesssss..... but yea I'm patient I hunt all the time too
You guys are really some tough hunters, don't think I could do that , hat's off to hunting like it should be , but remind me not to put in for that area, game is far and few between
Welcome to Washington.
If you walk around you only chasing Deer for others

Ok, that makes sense. Sometimes the big bucks just aren’t where you want them.
