Unsuccessfully Coping was the first song I ever heard by Type O. I laughed so hard while reading the lyrics..... I was a fan from that moment on, and was lucky enough to see them live a number of times and even talk to everyone on a few different occasions, except Josh. Never got to talk to him. Thank you so much for this. I was at this show. At the beginning of the show I became ill (NOT drunk or on drugs!! Thanks for the judgment though) and had to watch from the very back of the room. Needless to say I didn't enjoy myself and I don't remember the show. It's been one of my biggest regrets since this was the only TON show I attended. But now I get to relive the experience.

My gf fell in love with TypeO..W.ent to this show in tshirts, jeans and Reboks. I do remember the "Every day is Halloween with this face" comment. Afterwards they had a meet and greet next door at a goth bar named Shampoo. We were walking around all these people in pleather. I looked at her and said" They're looking at us thinking we were weird" In the next room they had an all girl most pit. I liked that part.....heh heh. Finally met the Keyboardist and drummer.. My gf then told them how she wanted a doorbell with Pete's voice saying WOW! They looked at her really weird as I was cracking up.
I saw TON in 2000, and they (TON) were (supposedly) supporting Coal Chamber (who were AWFUL). CC didn't even belong in the same building as TON...what a joke.
Full Devil Jacket came on first, then Coal Chamber and then Type O Negative. Got to meet Josh and Johnny outside the back of the Tabernacle. They were super cool, talked and signed some shirts and took some pics with us.
Agreed....legendary band, and Peter was an elite level songwriter....like a modern day composer....also loved your vocals on "Halloween in Heaven"....was a really nice contrast to Peter's vocal style

I finally spotted my head in the front along the railing. Bizarre. Great fucking show. Love them and CoF. I loved that Dani is all teeny (not really just messing around) then Pete comes out holding a bottle of wine that looked average sized in his hands. I miss him....Hell, I miss it all.
I feel like this band was and is so underrated. I’m from Europe and I moved to the USA in 2002. One day going to work I was driving my ex husband truck and I can’t recall if I forgot my cd’s or what( I hate the radio),and there was this cd in the car seat …. I popped it in and I immediately fell in love . It was type o negative. His friend forgot his cd in the truck. Since then. I have been a fan.for some reason he reminds me ( Peter) and me and my dad s personality.( it might be an Italian thing),very sarcastic, very opinionated, we believe what we believe,hard headed to the max.he reminds me a lot of European people . Anyways I adore this band their music was unique and special and their own brand and it came from passion for it and from their hearts.

Saw the premier show of the LIKM tour at CBGBs when they were headlining. Had blue suits instead. It was invite only or contest winners which I won tickets at Vintage Vinyl in Fords NJ after their autograph signing. It was my 3rd out of 7 times seeing them, and had to of been the best when I look back at it. The setlist, the medical costums, and my first n last time at CBGBs. Front row. All I got to say is this is the best rock n roll band of all time. They took every element of rock punk n metal and made it into this beautiful glowing vibe

I went to see Cradle and I left that evening an immediate fan of ToN and shortly after lost interest in COF. I've been to a lot of great shows since then but I've never been so immediately impressed by a band. Still listening to them. RIP Peter
at the time it was different priorities, Cradle Of Filth was Roadrunner's new signee and Type O just fulfilled their contract and was no longer a priority to the label, so the top billing was to basically herald their new signing as somewhat of a replacement for the departing band. I don't think it worked, considering shortly after the industry began a massive downfall
I came to see both bands which were my two favs at the time with them botth being in my top 5. I admit that my initial reaction to type o opening was like wtf. But cradle had just done ozzfest and just got signed to sony (correct my if im wrong) so there star was on the rise so to speak. Plus sonically they were louder and more rowdy and there could have been that fear of them blowing type o off the stage so they made cradle go on last. Either way it was a awesome show. Plus moonspell opened

Type O Negative should've NEVER been any bands opener after 1995. They had truly solidified themselves as legends by 1995,so definitely were top tier status by 2003.
I was almost 8 at the time of this show and I kick myself in the ass for being raised on Country Music in Tennessee instead of discovering these Metal Gods.
I love that they played so much of Slow Deep and Hard. I was fortunate enough to see Type O several times, including on this tour.

I went to the show in San Antonio on this tour. I believe it was a co headlining with CoF and they took turns closing the show out.
