- McDonald's was first opened in Japan in 1971. There are now about 3,000 locations in the country. We visited a branch near the iconic intersection of Shibuya crossing in Tokyo. There were 13 burger options on the menu, along with shakes, sides and fries unique to the country.

Bruh, if you buy a 20-40 dodo menu (that might include some menu with beverage) and ask a bag, you will probably shake the whole stuff to season the all included. Obviously never bought just fries and nuggets.

I think that shaka shaka chicken comes with its own bag that you put the chicken and powder in THEN shake lol. Just seeing the powder on top made me uncomfortable
For starters, I didn’t feel sick to my stomach when I ate the Japanese McDonald’s whereas I felt like crap after eating my own country’s (America’s) McDonald’s.

She's describing the taste mate for there are no real melons in a McFloat. They mix fruit syrup in sprite. Usually sprite is the solvent for fruit-based mcfloats. I know this because that's also popular here in the PH.

I ate Mcdonalds in Japan numerous times and it was heaven for me thanks to their unique choices. I suggest you should try it there but I should warn you its a bit pricey.

hey if you try "shaka shaka" potatos and chicken, you don't have to put on the savory powder on the top. we mix them up in some paper bag and shake it. "shaka shaka" means "shaking" in Japanese so, thats it!

“Shaka” is an onomatopoeia in japan when shaking smth. the point of a Shaka Shaka is that you pour the seasoning in the bag with food and you shake it. That way the seasoning gets every where and you can tase it with every bite. The lady just poured it right on top of the chicken....

I once ate at MCD at Ginza, Japan for breakfast and I like that the combo meal has so many option. Japan MCD has regular breakfast meal, which is the hash brown, breakfast sandwich and drink. OR you can get the combo with just the sandwich and coffee. Of course I went with the sandwich and coffee only because I am not a big fan of the hash brown.

You have to put the shaka shaka fries in the bag (they usually provide you with one), put the seasoning in and shake it, thats why they're called like that

McDonalds' in Philippines have rice on their menu however the variety for burger is limited, while other McDo in Asia countries has a variety of burgers on their menu.
