- Sir Keir Starmer will tell Britons there is “light at the end of this tunnel” but they must first join a “shared struggle” through tough short-term pressures.
In his first Labour Party conference speech as Prime Minister, Sir Keir will say he wants to “build a new Britain” with faster economic growth, shorter hospital waiting lists and safer streets.
Journalist and Labour Party activist Paul Mason joins Talk’s Julia Hartley-Brewer to discuss this further.

So according to Paul Mason everyone in the private sector should join a union demand 20% pay increases, gold plated pensions etc and go on strike. The whole country will be on its knees. We have two tier employment now. If you are in the public sector you get above inflation pay rises and gold plated pensions. Private sector workers do not get this. The whole system will collapse.
