Public sector hasn’t really increased productivity since the 90s where as productivity in the private sector has gone up significantly. Those who are working harder for their money are having to pay for the ponces that aren’t. And of course because their pay went up significantly this likely means their subs to their union have also gone up giving the unions more money in their political fund to give to the party that awarded them these massive raises with no commitment to raise productivity.
