ZUN really should introduce male Touhou characters. I know he said that he intended to have Myouren as the final boss for UFO but ultimately decided to play it safe but I think the fandom would fucking love it if he actually introduced even just one male character.
Rinnosuke exists, also not gonna happen since Zun said danmaku is exclusively feminine or whatever.

@@letrieuvy8210 Even if he wanted to do that now he likely never will. The formula has been set in stone for years and experimenting suddenly is an incredible risk, especially for someone as big as ZUN. Now if he had the balls to do it one day I wouldn't mind it as I think his mentality behind the choice of "gorls only" is dated nowadays, but I can't guarantee a majority of touhou fans won't be absolutely livid because of it.
I hope to see more of fanmade touhou there, with some male characters like him and elly. I'm starting to pop up and imaginative idea when seeing this

Idk why, but this whole album doesn't screams Touhou to me, feels like a completely different album. Like I mean, the tracks are very Touhou, but the characters are so out there (especially the male characters). It doesn't help that the artstyle was completely changed after stage 2, went from ZUN style to a very different style (no offense to Aurora Artz). Though that's just my feeling of it.
Either way, I'm amazed by this whole track, all of them are really good that I don't know which one's my favorite or not. But this theme is already up there for sure.
