Yes I tried to make the letters look like cookies.
Failed catastrophically. Oh well.
Her fight has just the right amount of thrill. Not too easy nor too hard for stage 2 boss. I like it.
I do think her candy bullets can be a lil bigger though.
An old and powerful being who turned to do humble jobs in modern times huh.
She even destroyed an entire galaxy just to find the one who stole her cake.
Now the "buster" in the music name makes a lot more sense. She would totally have Buster type NP.

So first, I'd like to say thanks for extending the themes so quickly! The videos are all nicely made, too.
Secondly...I know that, as head developer and character designer, I really, really shouldn't have favourites...
But in spite of everything - Valentine having the most work put into her artwork and concepts, and Irisu being the very first character we made the danmaku for...It's actually Noah who's stolen my heart as my favourite boss in the demo version of the game. Which is funny, as she was definitely the hardest of the demo cast to make a design for! It took a while to hit on her current 'chocolate covered cherry' type design.
Plus, her theme is quite lovely.

maybe I played too much RSS lol

thats what its referencing lol. shangri-la in japanese is pronounced as tougenkyou(桃源郷), but the 桃('tou') kanji is replaced with 糖, which means sugar(which also is pronounced as tou), hence 'sugari-la'
