You push help me start my f2p account I been think doing it for like a year but your Videos got me over the line and after a week I'm like at AR 21 with almost 100% monstadt (even though its easiest part) I cant wait tackle more on my account
ty doro, you help me, remind me that this game is not for me, unskippable story, stamina problem, low reward gain not comparable with time needed, maybe if there story skip and more easy exploration without paywall i will think again
F2P is a bag of mixed feelings. It's so super frustrating and sad to have to ration everything for characters and stuff, but when you get who you're planning for...the feeling is just exquisite. But it also makes losing the 50/50 unbelievably painful. Props to you for giving F2P a good try though.
@@ch_ipsI saved up for about 160 pulls for Neuvillette. Took almost each and every one of them after losing 50-50 to Qiqi Easily my worst pull luck yet(i resumed recently and had pretty decent luck for Xilonen, Nahida and Chasca)
doro will never be able to feel the PURE F2P experience because he has his own community that's willing to support him meanwhile us barely have anyone in our life lol 😂
as an f2p player, saving is literally the worst thing ever and it especially is when it gets wasted on losing the 50/50. best thing ever when i get my 50/50 or get guaranteed though
Yeah! It also feels so much better, because exploring is really tiresome, so it's more enjoyable to play the history first, and maybe some big side quests while doing it I have a friend who focused on clearing regions and he dropped out after finishing inazuma because the game was too boring
Agree!!! That’s what I did and do, I explore regions first and then do archon quests and story quests while prioritizing events to get weapons and primos.
That's how I did it. To be honest, it gives you time to collect enough materials for your characters. The second thing is that, I didn't build all the characters I wanted gradually. I waited until I was done with a region to level up characters and weapons. I called it "Promotions". You know Strategic management of resources. So far, I am at World Level 8 and I am planning to increase to level 9 after I have explored all Natlan. Then before going to Schneznaya, I will level up the talents for my characters (already collected bunch of materials). To be a real F2P, you need to be strategic.
The excitement of getting a 5 star you really wanted being an F2P is so good, I am glad that's something I can experience (Lost 11 50/50 in a row :'] )
@@RamshacklePrefect4rth be strong comrade, i lost nuvilette with 74 pity. and now I am at 17 pity raiding all of tevet and running it dry of primo gems
I did this! When I started Genshin, Nahida was my first targeted 5* and I made a hyperbloom team before knowing if it was any good or not. I think leveling Nahida was one of the first times I looked up material areas and made multiple pins on my game map. It was a pain but a very good memory.
@@RareAngelz I started playing early this year and kinda didn't play at all for basically the whole summer because I wasn't really enjoying doing 300 DMG vapes 😂 then I pulled nahida and voila look at that 10k hyperblooms after a couple days of leveling It's a game changer for sure
The fact your community is helping you is a big boost to a f2p account, when you play on your own, you gotta search stuff up online, and if you don't have friends playing the game, it's a little rough. The game is just that much enjoyable with friends
@@Doro44c in another vein f2ping makes it so you have to min max everything at your disposal to make interesting builds and teams, there's more strategizing involved and honestly makes it rly fun.
Doro who is your Editor?!?!? They are like Rank SSS+++ level of editing, just chef kiss! This editor is inspiring me to learn how to edit and become 1% as good as them!
I totally agree Doro, as a 3 year F2P player I quickly learned to build 2 solid teams first and then slowly focus on building your other characters especially 5 stars AFTER you have your two teams and then the order of characters you build after go from most flexible units (1 by 1) to more niche units (unless you just really like them)
Hey Doro! Make sure to lock several the copies of any weapons, even 3 stars on f2p account! Some of them are very good but can only be found on regional chests, especially on Mondstadt and Liyue. For ex: White tassel is only available from opening Liyue chests, and is a great f2p weapon on Cyno and Arlecchino, and the Mondstadt 3 star chest bow is decent for Yelan. I primarily mentioned those weapons bcs their number is limited so you can only refine it as long as you haven't used them all as fodder. Other 3* weapons from wishing such as Black tassel for Zhongli, slingshot for big T and Ganyu, and TToDS for Barbara/Kokomi/any catalyst user are also very valuable even in late game!
I mainly play valorant but i am so addicted to your content that you become the no 1 streamer in youtube recap of 2024, it says that i am your 0.01% fan and i watch 14x your average viewers.👍👑
as a returning F2P player I agree, doing archon quest first so you can progress your map up to the latest part then slowly doing every quest per region until your progression level reach 100. I missed a lot of good character as I was been in Hiatus for almost 2 and half years. Just returned and play again last July of this year and thankfully managed to get 2 Arlee, Furina, Wanderer, Yelan and Neuvi.
As a F2P player, I prefer to do the archon quest first then move on to do the side quest. It's easier to do exploration once you unlock all avaliable regions and if you get stuck and unable to play the archon quest because of all low ar, you can always do side quests.
Being f2p , I’ve learnt to accept my fate and just take whatever my game gives me. I’ve gotten characters purely because I wanted to pull and hey Alhaitham,Kinich & Baizhu turned out to be great. Saving is not my thing lol
I recently started up an Asia F2P account as well, when the 5* character selector was available. Got me a Keqing who carried me to AR 27. It is both fun and frustrating playing it without even welkin. But the real account changer for me on that account was pulling Chasca. Exploration became so much faster, and I only had to build one character. And you get the fav bow and all of the ascension materials for it for free. I basically dumped everything into her. I have her at 70, all level 16 artifacts, and even talents leveled up. Currently AR 39 on that account and nothing survives more than a few seconds, with anything but a boss or an enemy with a shield surviving more than one shot. Its incredible how easy the early game gets when you understand the game a lot better than when first starting. And Natlan characters are just straight up broken for exploration... I already love exploring, and it is so nice playing through the game for the 6th time now (yeah, I have 5 other accounts that are 55+... 60, 58, 2x 56, and a 55... And I started playing this game back in 3.8). I love this game too.
Doro just mention it.... But THUMPS UP for any and all those on the Discord community i got the pleasure to go in Co-Op with... Im really grateful each and every time.. And for those that havent joined, you are missing out.
My Tips as a F2P: 1. You DON'T need EVERYONE. It's crazy to me that some people want half a dozen Characters ALL the time. In reality, you're mainly just going to play ONE Main DPS at any given time, save for your Rotation Supports for when you REALLY need them. 2. Get who has a Playstyle YOU enjoy. Why people spend everything they own on Characters solely for their Looks or the Meta is beyond me. This Game is not Challenging, you can pretty much Build whoever you want and if done well, you'll still breeze through 90% of the Content with a Solid 4 Star Support Team. Sure, the Character can be appealing VISUALLY, but if you aren't having Fun PLAYING them, what's the point? They'll just end up sitting in your Reserve unused. 3. UNLESS you're a Collector like me and enjoy having the Weapons that fit the Look of the Characters, DON'T spend on Weapon Banners. 90% of the time there are better 4-Star alternatives you probably already have. 4. DON'T SPEND ON A BANNER SOLELY FOR 4-STARS. I don't care if they're your favorite Character in the whole wide world, you WILL get them eventually, either through an Event or Naturally when you're getting another 5-Star. I ALWAYS see people regret it.
The problem is When im eye-ing a new character, most of the time i dont have their team, even the subpar ones (or the team taken by another team that i need to pull for the alternative) Its painful
Ehh on your play-style point, you can enjoy a play-style but if you hate how it looks your gonna hate how it , the truth is consider all things looks , playstyle and viability.
@@mk_gamíng0609 True actually, as I follow that myself lol. I was mainly trying to emphasize that the Former is overlooked more solely because of Drip Marketing.
I kept repeating the video over and over I can’t help but love your natural sense of humor! Everything you upload makes me smile instantly thanks for all your work I really appreciate it 💕💕
Tbh, as a f2p i just pulled for Neuvillette’s weapon, when the Skyward Harp showed up my heart sank because i had previously used up all of my primos for Zhongli, little did i know i will get my first double 5 star in my life. Seeing his weapon show up almost made me cry. I’m pretty sure my luck for this year and the next was in this pull.
Honestly, building Sethos would actually be pretty good, just normal attack thorugh and through with xinqui, kuki and nahida and u are done (Fischl is an awesome unit, but if u want to try something different and new in the future, u should try sethos).
HI, i did feel nostalgic but it hit me when i got to liyue i lost my 50/50 to keqing in xiao banner which was slightly depressing but its nice once in a while to experience something that had never crossed your mind.BUT sincerely as an f2p it does bring bad memories of losing your favourite character right in front of your eyes and there is nothing you can do about it
Honestly as an F2P, I would save for a mauvika. Not because I think she's the strongest character ever, but the comparison between exploration with and without a movement character is like night and day. I recently didnt really have a good movement/exploration character, but now with xilonen... My god the exploration is forever changed.
My tip is that as soon as you are able to leave Mondstadt, you should try and unlock all of the statues of seven and teleport waypoints so that you are able to do events and you'll be able to farm mats for characters like Collei and Lynette who you get in the early game but don't visit their region until well into the actual game.
Good luck Doro, i have explored the whole map and oh boy is it exhausting...... Liyue does have more than 1000 chests so be prepared, as well for the newer regions we are with you 🤝 I do get these nostalgia moments too, at the time i was into my music playlists and when i listen to these same playlists when i played these regions the nostalgia DOUBLES it's amazing, it makes me sad really sad because i was discovering the game it felt so good :(, also it made me think about other nostalgia moments in my life, everything just gathers idk it feels good feeling these things again and again. When you spend that much time into something you kinda remember the experience and how you surpassed it at the time, and how you would like to do it again to remember things again
Just two pieces of advice as an AR 55 F2P 1. Roll with what you got. When your starting out and can't buy your way up, you need to forget about the meta and look at what you can do rn. If you lose Furina 50/50 to Mona, figure out how to use her well and don't let a "loss" be a loss 🏆 2. DONT DO AR DOMAINS TILL YOU HAVE BUILT SOME CHARECTERS. I right away went to AR 30 when it came along and my level 50 Beidou and 40 Xiangling were NOT ready for that. Overall, just balance exploration with quests, level, and characters and you'll be just fine😊
I can tell you how I explore. 1 I unlock all the statues of the seven in the new region. 2 i unlock all teleports i can. 3 i do all the quests i have. 4 i pull up the exploration map and start marking them off. (If you get chests from the quests they are always on the map, so specially for those i also open it. )
When starting Genshin 4 years ago, I wanted to be F2P cause I really didn't want to spend on a video game. But later down the line, as I kept exploring and experiencing the stories unfold, I decided to stay F2P, cause I think being F2P pushed me to explore more and find stuff, understand the stories the devs worked really hard to make, and well, now I'm obsessed with Genshin lore cause of it... Best decision I think I could make 😊
I made my 2nd account on 16 September. I've played it and before i runs the arcon quests that opens the border, I've collected all the chest and anemoculi on Mondstadt and then I goes with the arcon quest until just after Venti told us to go to the Rite of Descension. I stopped for a while and opens all the possible teleports waypoint and statues of the seven and I go all of it by foot. And after that I started to explore Natlan 100% all when its only at 5.1 game version. After I finished it, I completed my Mondstadt exploration and also Dragonspine to 100% especially the Frostbearing Tree to level 12. I'm happy to say that during only those events from 5.1 to 5.2 and the exploration I got, I managed to collect 22678 primogems and during 5.3 now, I collected roughly 25431 primogems and got Neuvilette rate off and his signature weapon but also got Zhongli's signature weapon! And all of that still on AR 35 with 46290 exp left unused
Doro if you didn't know there are 3 star weapons only obtainable in chests from Liyue and Mondsatat, Fillet Blade, Halberd, Messenger, Otherworldly Story, Recurve Bow, Skyrider Greatsword, Traverler's Handy Sword, Twin Nephrite, White Iron Greatsword and White Tassel. Be sure to check them out. Some of them have Crit Rate/DMG as a substat. Something that the craft able 4 star weapons don't have.
The way I complete exploration is while doing quests. Collect chests and doing puzzles alongside quests. After finishing them around 70% - 80% of exploration is completed. After that I use the compass to 100% (its so much easy with the new compass system). Never used online maps (its too much work)
F2P / low spender is the best way to play the game honestly Sure it's hard to have to play everyday to get resources and still struggle to get primos, mora and exp. You get overwhelmed with the amount of characters you need to build and the constant resin block every single day is probably the biggest obstacle towards your progress But it makes you play the game to the fullest Only downside is that being constantly in grind mode makes me enjoy the stories less than when I was a casual player because some dialogues are just a waste of time. We need a skip button I have things to do
I am a semi-f2p account, i buy the battlepass and a once a month welkin but even then I still find it difficult to be smart about wishing and what characters to use. I did skip to Natlan for the archon quests and to get the exploration for primos but i dont regret skipping because i know in the long run my account is better for it. I appreciate this video because even tho I am not fully f2p I know i have so much to learn!
I keep hearing people say that Genshin doesn't have a "resin reserve system" but honestly it does, you can make condensed resin and it's such a game changer playing F2P bc If I'm busy I can log on and preserve up to 200 resin and spend that before my OG resin refills 24hrs later
Doro if you want you can start buy unlocking all the statues of the seven and waypoints then you'll get a lot of rewards and when the quests are far away you can just tp with ease
Genshin doesn't have a resin reserve system, but at least it has basic accessibility features like being able to reassign keybindings, unlike some other games **cough** infinity nikki **cough**
On my main account at first I started going for every single character that came out, and then later on maybe the last few years I started being a dolphin spending at least 100 per new character that came out. Let me say I regret that as now I'm scrambling trying to build at least 60 of my characters, I know I don't need to do build that many characters as you really only need 8 characters but with imagerium theater and me just wanting to play as almost every character because I hate playing the same characters and want variety it's my choice. A dumb one but it's a choice. Also just feels better not having to switch/share weapons and artifacts, just pick and play basically. Now after watching you restart as a f2p made me want to and I did. I'm just planning on going for who I absolutely want this time and I'm gonna try and avoid "meta" units as I hate them because surprise they make the game somewhat boring. I'll use them if I absolutely want to or need to like Nahida and such but gonna stay away from them. I'm also gonna correct my mistakes like on my main account I didn't know much and used fragile resin a lot instead of saving them for ar 45 artifact grinding. Probably would have helped a lot now that I'm having to build all my characters from scratch basically but hey mistakes are mistakes. Also to add to the reserved resin idea, why are domains still daily locked? It was okay back then and it did spread out play time but now when we're near the end of the game for now with over 100 characters so far, it's just a drag and honestly not needed anymore.
little tips: the ones that you didn't use level them up to 20, for the wish standard 1st-archon quest for more map 2nd-event 3rd-oculis 4th-side quest 5th-random chest\mob (i don't do that order tho xD the 1st and 2nd yes, after them just explore for chest and oculis for fun; i've 2 account free, 1 from the 2020 and only from mond to enkanomiya\chasm are full, at sumeru i started the 2 with my language so now them are not fully explored xD)
honestly I love your f2p vids and it definitely inspired me to focus on exploration-- but I'm still missing that weeny 2% with no idea where and gonna have to let it go. making a note about this sword tho, ty 👍🏽
hey i won my first 50/50 in my whole genshin career to zhongli and i am very happy. I got him at 20 pity . Good luck to everyone out there who is pulling for him. Good luck to doro too.
I ran with Zhongli for so long and was a game changer for me for such a long time (still use him to this day too of course) But I feel Sir Neuvilette would probably benefit your account and he can fit in well with hyperbloom, or just be solo with him as I've seen people do that too. Either or I'm perfectly fine with, though I feel c1 Neuvilette would be what you need to avoid the interupption so maybe Zhongli would be better in this case. Again, totally up to you.
One of my personal favorite strats as an average person player is to just go and unlock all the waypoints I can excluding the ones you only get through quests so I can seamlessly access everything I may need during story and farming and general just playing the damn game lol
This "Do archon quests first" works only if it's an ALT account. I mostly did that on my main account and Inazuma was an extremely frustrating experience because of it. I almost quit. My friend actually quit there. It's because you unlock the whole thing and your tree is not high enough level to do any of the puzzles - but as a new player you don't exactly know when you can unlock a puzzle or if it's because of the tree or you just can't see it / figure it out...
I started a F2P account in HSR for EU server to add people from that region. And yea, playing completely F2P is much slower and makes you appreciate every bit of the free jade you get. I do find it more exhausting but also when you win 50/50s much more exciting.
I don't think you need to stick to 100% a region before unlocking the next region. unlocking all the map and teleports available before the archon quests is not a problem. events are important so it's best to do them even though the immersion is broken. I first started in 3.2 and didn't wanted to unlock Sumeru because I wanted to follow the archon quests order while rushing to do the quests and exploration, but my brother (1.0 player) told me to do the event. I got lost while unlocking Sumeru and didn't understand the fungi event, but we can still catch up later about the story since people record them online, but the prizes are time-limited, so it's best not to miss them. I hope you enjoy your time playing with the f2p account 🎉 and world quests are important! a few of them unlock locations and chests, so it's best to do them. there's also the parametric transformer quest that's useful to get materials every 7 days. Have a good game! 😄 p.s. That part about Neuvillette was absolutely hilarious😂😂😂 I watched your stream after I saw your tweet and it was really funny! 😂😂😂 p.s.2 the reason I rushed quests and exploration is because I was collecting primos for Nahida too. my bro said she was good and a must, but I failed to get her. so instead I saved for Raiden
I like to unlock the entire map as it comes out, but I don’t explore it (unless it’s an event to get primos) until I finish the story for that region then I 100% it and get to the top level of reputation
@3:35- THIS!! This right here is why you have to be picky! I only several months ago finally did a Welkin, it still wasn't 'my money' since I had like $50 on my PS account thanks to a Gift card I got from my brother for Christmas/Bday one year (I forgot I had that amount too lol). I've only bought 1 welkin with no plans to get another only because I'd rather save that money for something else. So I still consider myself a F2P gamer for the most part. Me I've always been a very patient person (it comes from living with a mom who's the total opposite, plus I wanted to be like my dad more lol, love both parents btw). So I use that patience when it comes to gaming in general, so I never try to stress out, but I have gotten bummed out when a char I want comes out but I don't really need them. Like Chasca was a perfect example of this lol. I skipped her, even though I didn't want to lol. @8:01- I first started in 2.1, and I manage to finish the prologue in time to do the Moonchase Festival. It was then my choice to focus on the story and take a break after reaching Inazuma. I wouldn't play all the time (like for one thing when 2.3 was happening I was out of town for awhile, at Disney World, celebrating my birthday lol). I didn't feel this constant need to play constantly since I wanted to take my time. First major limited time event I actually did though was 2.8's Summer event and it was then I realized the true importance of doing these kinds of events, plus the lore they brought with them, but I still would take breaks to avoid burn out. Only event I would come to regret skipping would be 3.4's Lantern Rite . . . it was only this pass year that I finally did Lantern Rite lol. It was during the Spring of 2023 that I stopped taking 'long breaks' lol. And by then I had saved a good number of primos thanks to free events (and I had started watching the special programs too). My first 5 star I actually gunned for was Baizhu since I was hoping to get a better Healer and his first banner just happened to be out during that time. Then I got Alhaitham since I was still using Traveler and I saw he was a DPS unit. Still my fav char in game (gameplay and personality wise). After getting Alhaitham and doing the Summer event, I FINALLY continued on with the main story and did Inazuma before diving into Sumeru (finished those 2 before the end of 2023). Took a small break and I did Fontaine after doing Lantern Rite. Yeah I was spoiled on who Neuvillette was by that point lol. So I was finally caught up main story wise before the Bedtime Story quest. I really do need to try multiplayer more. That's the only area I need to improve on. I am just shy . . lol. @17:14- OMG this is one of the funniest things I've seen hahahaha. *Less that a minute later* OMG HAHAHA the disrespect hahaha.
Yeah the way to go about the progressing only when 100% the region is, first archon quest, then sidequests and then explorarion. Certain areas only unlock after certain sidequests
i actually do it in reverse.i explore first(like I'm still on fontaines archon quest but ive explored natlan as much as i can),do whatever side quests come up and then do the actual archon quest at the end once I get to it.this has always worked for me bc by the time I do the archon quest I'm already at 70-80% exploration.then once I finish the archon quests for the region I do another explore run to pick up remainder things.then if I have anything left once I get to a new region ill pop back into the older ones to finish the remainder
2 things: that chest in Northland Bank has been sitting there for me. Never knew it was there. Thanks haha. Also, that one chatter is right. Mondstadt was only the prologue. That's crazy to think about. Especially considering we had to deal with a dragon as a PROLOGUE? Makes me wonder how crazy it'll get if we got back (again the chatter said smth about Dornman Port, which is another area I'm excited to get to aside from Mare Jivari).
you can just unlock the teleport only not the seven statute so its still dark but you can still travel around so the map that open can be 100% first this make it easier to see the area border
I started genshin bout 4 months ago with no knowledge, day 2 and I got Nahida and Kuki instantly, learned bout hyperbloom after getting barbara it carried me to AR 36. So glad watching TH-camrs experiencing the joy of f2p without spending m9ney and taking fun from gambling
The Liyue archon quest has so much blatant foreshadowing it's hilarious, like "oh our archon will be with us foreeevvvveeerrrr" girl. Girl are you sure about that
it's insane to me how he can do Genshin for a living without even knowing about how fun the exploration aspect is, which is arguably the biggest component of the game lol
As an f2p, I can say that nothing is more satisfying than an early pity 5 star. Especially when you wanted them but didn’t have enough pull for guarantee
After playing from 2.5 to 4.0 completely f2p, then consistently getting BP and welking every patch, and THEN making several f2p accounts at various points later on really teaches you the difference between putting in even the smallest amounts of donations in these games 😅. i can only imagine how drastic the difference is between a f2p and whale expirience might feel
Also a F2P tip that may not make sense to some, I know you’re not supposed to pull on banners you don’t like the 5 star just for 4 stars, however I will pull and build pity on banners if I like the 4 stars and not the 5 that way if I lose my 50/50 it doesn’t matter as much and I have a guaranteed pull on the next 5 star banner I want. Hope this makes sense and helps. I built pity and lost 50/50 on chasca but got c2 ororon and got my Zhongli (who I didn’t have) guaranteed and I got him early at just 30 pity.
there is definitely one mistake I made when I was early and f2p. I built my characters too early. I obviously couldn't get five star artifacts so I started treating 4 stars like 5 stars. Using all my resin and fragile resin on 4 star artifacts from domains with nothing for 5 star artifacts. I definitely regret doing that and if I were to go back, I would use what I have and only start building later.
true, but he has to trash it as a streamer because some people love to "gift" primos with the purpose of saying "you're a liar, your account isn't f2p" Setting that boundary is just better for Doro in the long run so he doesn't have to deal with it over and over.
I got myself c4 Neuvillette with his Weapon on my F2P NA Account Yesterday, i cleard all Areas and saved all the pulls for him. I cleared Abyss with Xiangling and Tighnari Teams up to Floor 11 before. I really dislike how many Build Characters you are supposed to have for the Theatre but i was never able to state this without getting spam with "It's for endgame" like if i need 1-2 Years before i can clear it that Game mode is just bad imo.
my best moment as a f2p was having enough primos with a little farming to be able to get both zhongli AND neuvi, having not made a single wish on the limited banner and not losing the 50/50 😭
This is exactly how I played😂. I would not move to another region without exploring it to 100%. I did it. It worked and it was amazing. To be honest, this will give you plenty of time to collect materials for your characters.
I hope you enjoyed the video! Trying to be f2p has had its challenges for sure but honestly it’s super rewarding!

Very true
I don't like farming primos but I'm lucky, I got chasca, Ororon and Barbara on the same 10 pull, I had 21 pity
I'm a new f2p player and lucked out on both 50/50s for chasca. Saving for mavuika or citlali but am pretty sure I know what comes next......
Ngl I like saving it feels nice seeing that many primos on your acc at once
I won't pull unless I have 180+ wishes.
As an F2P, I'd say unlocking the map first would be a better option and then 100% the region that you want while still catching up on the events.
That’s my plan!
Yeah! It also feels so much better, because exploring is really tiresome, so it's more enjoyable to play the history first, and maybe some big side quests while doing it
I have a friend who focused on clearing regions and he dropped out after finishing inazuma because the game was too boring
Agree!!! That’s what I did and do, I explore regions first and then do archon quests and story quests while prioritizing events to get weapons and primos.
I usually activate every teleportation spot before doing the quest. Less tedious for me that way
That's how I did it.
11 times in a row... how in the world!?
@@introvertedley IDK, 9 of them were before the new banner system and Capturing Radiance 🥲
@@mamoalao9941 i lost 2 which is every 50/50 i ever did so i didnt win a 50/50 ever
I started out a few months ago and have won both 50/50s I attempted. Hopefully, the luck continues with the Mavuika pulls.
This is me in wuwa every 50/50 lose T_T
P2W when losing 50/50: "nothing" 😃
F2P when losing 50/50: 😭💀
thats just so true, i currently got 73 pity and 4 wishes for mavuika, i have to win the 50/50 tho and idk what im gonna do if i lose it lmao
Me wishing for Neuvilette with 75 pulls and getting dehya now having 0 pulls :(((
As a F2P, you should always save 180 pulls for 5 star characters.
I wished for Zhong li 40 times with 46 pity and got Qiqi instead... Let's say I can't bring myself to play Genshin this week anymore (TT)
@@RamshacklePrefect4rth be strong comrade, i lost nuvilette with 74 pity. and now I am at 17 pity raiding all of tevet and running it dry of primo gems
I GOT NEUVILLETTE FROM 50/50 MY LIFE HAS MEANING 😭
70 pulls still didn't get him, thanks for stealing my luck 😭👍🏻
Dw you still have time and new characters next patch
I pulled him with my 1month farmed primogems worth 200pulls
And won 50/50 for zhongli too
Won their weapons too 😊
Lucky bastard

getting a Nahida Hyperbloom super early on as F2P is awesome but also getting the mats for levels is a bit annoying LMAO
Oh 1000000%
I did this! When I started Genshin, Nahida was my first targeted 5* and I made a hyperbloom team before knowing if it was any good or not. I think leveling Nahida was one of the first times I looked up material areas and made multiple pins on my game map. It was a pain but a very good memory.
@@RareAngelz I started playing early this year and kinda didn't play at all for basically the whole summer because I wasn't really enjoying doing 300 DMG vapes 😂 then I pulled nahida and voila look at that 10k hyperblooms after a couple days of leveling
It's a game changer for sure
When is it not ahahahah
The fact your community is helping you is a big boost to a f2p account, when you play on your own, you gotta search stuff up online, and if you don't have friends playing the game, it's a little rough. The game is just that much enjoyable with friends
Join the discord! We have a ton of people willing to help! But agreed having friends and people willing to help off the bat is a big boost
Now Doro knows how the rest of us feel 😅
True
It’s been humbling for sure lol
@@Doro44c in another vein f2ping makes it so you have to min max everything at your disposal to make interesting builds and teams, there's more strategizing involved and honestly makes it rly fun.
Doro who is your Editor?!?!? They are like Rank SSS+++ level of editing, just chef kiss! This editor is inspiring me to learn how to edit and become 1% as good as them!
FR THEY EVEN GOT THE DANDADAN REFERENCE (if you don't watch dandadan this is irrelevant)
Other 3* weapons from wishing such as Black tassel for Zhongli, slingshot for big T and Ganyu, and TToDS for Barbara/Kokomi/any catalyst user are also very valuable even in late game!
big T mention
I mainly play valorant but i am so addicted to your content that you become the no 1 streamer in youtube recap of 2024, it says that i am your 0.01% fan and i watch 14x your average viewers.👍👑
11:51 I have 2 dark iron swords. Thanks to doro. I watched his video and learned that the dark iron sword is rare.
I gotchu
as a returning F2P player I agree, doing archon quest first so you can progress your map up to the latest part then slowly doing every quest per region until your progression level reach 100.
“SO MANY CODESSSS……”
Welcome to the world of the F2P grind time 😂
Being f2p , I’ve learnt to accept my fate and just take whatever my game gives me. I’ve gotten characters purely because I wanted to pull and hey Alhaitham,Kinich & Baizhu turned out to be great. Saving is not my thing lol
as f2p,quest helped me 100% exploration
My Tips as a F2P:
The problem is
When im eye-ing a new character, most of the time i dont have their team, even the subpar ones (or the team taken by another team that i need to pull for the alternative)
Its painful
Ehh on your play-style point, you can enjoy a play-style but if you hate how it looks your gonna hate how it , the truth is consider all things looks , playstyle and viability.
@グルイズビオ But you literally don't need their Team. Again, Genshin is easy.
@@mk_gamíng0609 True actually, as I follow that myself lol. I was mainly trying to emphasize that the Former is overlooked more solely because of Drip Marketing.
I just go for archons and sometimes characters that help in exploration
No one else is needed
I kept repeating the video over and over I can’t help but love your natural sense of humor! Everything you upload makes me smile instantly thanks for all your work I really appreciate it 💕💕
Tbh, as a f2p i just pulled for Neuvillette’s weapon, when the Skyward Harp showed up my heart sank because i had previously used up all of my primos for Zhongli, little did i know i will get my first double 5 star in my life. Seeing his weapon show up almost made me cry. I’m pretty sure my luck for this year and the next was in this pull.
"you only know a fraction of my pain you foolish child" love the video ❤
Honestly, building Sethos would actually be pretty good, just normal attack thorugh and through with xinqui, kuki and nahida and u are done (Fischl is an awesome unit, but if u want to try something different and new in the future, u should try sethos).
HI, i did feel nostalgic but it hit me when i got to liyue i lost my 50/50 to keqing in xiao banner which was slightly depressing but its nice once in a while to experience something that had never crossed your mind.BUT sincerely as an f2p it does bring bad memories of losing your favourite character right in front of your eyes and there is nothing you can do about it
When I rolled for Klee on the last day and lost my 50/50 it was so upsetting
Honestly as an F2P, I would save for a mauvika. Not because I think she's the strongest character ever, but the comparison between exploration with and without a movement character is like night and day. I recently didnt really have a good movement/exploration character, but now with xilonen... My god the exploration is forever changed.
what ever u do, dont miss your pull on Mavuika
Doro, condensed resin is the reserver of genshin
My tip is that as soon as you are able to leave Mondstadt, you should try and unlock all of the statues of seven and teleport waypoints so that you are able to do events and you'll be able to farm mats for characters like Collei and Lynette who you get in the early game but don't visit their region until well into the actual game.
Good luck Doro, i have explored the whole map and oh boy is it exhausting...... Liyue does have more than 1000 chests so be prepared, as well for the newer regions we are with you 🤝
I do get these nostalgia moments too, at the time i was into my music playlists and when i listen to these same playlists when i played these regions the nostalgia DOUBLES it's amazing, it makes me sad really sad because i was discovering the game it felt so good :(, also it made me think about other nostalgia moments in my life, everything just gathers idk it feels good feeling these things again and again. When you spend that much time into something you kinda remember the experience and how you surpassed it at the time, and how you would like to do it again to remember things again
Just two pieces of advice as an AR 55 F2P
1. Roll with what you got. When your starting out and can't buy your way up, you need to forget about the meta and look at what you can do rn. If you lose Furina 50/50 to Mona, figure out how to use her well and don't let a "loss" be a loss 🏆
FINALLY! I wanted to watch the part 2 so bad
24:01 Thejonathan: DUDE! WTF! I THOUGHT WE WERE COOL, MAN!
Loving your F2P journey
Best decision I think I could make 😊
Doro finally became a mint picker🙏🙏
Thank you for the amazing video!
Man I love doros content
Keep up the good work dude0❤❤
Hyberbloom especially with Nahida and Kuki is really great for any F2P account.
Hey man you &jhonathan are my favourite genshin creators I've been watching for a long time i like you❤ i want you to keep going forever
100% Mondstadt congratz!! keep it up with the exploration!! great video doro
17:00 Rewatching this after seeing the YT short version made me realize Neuvillette was also stepping on the whiskers lol
17:16 lmao neuvi drinking liyue water in front of rexlapis dead body ,like literally he is enjoying the moment🫡
If your f2p you explore map first and get all the event every primo counts you can always comeback and 100Percent it later
Liyue music is what makes me fall in love to Genshin Impact. I always go to Liyue just to cool off after Natlan
The way I complete exploration is while doing quests. Collect chests and doing puzzles alongside quests. After finishing them around 70% - 80% of exploration is completed. After that I use the compass to 100% (its so much easy with the new compass system). Never used online maps (its too much work)
F2P / low spender is the best way to play the game honestly
Sure it's hard to have to play everyday to get resources and still struggle to get primos, mora and exp. You get overwhelmed with the amount of characters you need to build and the constant resin block every single day is probably the biggest obstacle towards your progress
But it makes you play the game to the fullest
Only downside is that being constantly in grind mode makes me enjoy the stories less than when I was a casual player because some dialogues are just a waste of time. We need a skip button I have things to do
One person who can enjoy f2p is if he has immense amount of time, then he can truly test and taste every bit of the game and exploration.
9:10 I have no friends 🥹
I always love watching doro post🎉
little tips: the ones that you didn't use level them up to 20, for the wish standard
1st-archon quest for more map
2nd-event
3rd-oculis
4th-side quest
5th-random chest\mob
(i don't do that order tho xD the 1st and 2nd yes, after them just explore for chest and oculis for fun; i've 2 account free, 1 from the 2020 and only from mond to enkanomiya\chasm are full, at sumeru i started the 2 with my language so now them are not fully explored xD)
You make the best videos 🙌🏻
honestly I love your f2p vids and it definitely inspired me to focus on exploration-- but I'm still missing that weeny 2% with no idea where and gonna have to let it go. making a note about this sword tho, ty 👍🏽
hey i won my first 50/50 in my whole genshin career to zhongli and i am very happy.
I love that doro finally knows the struggles of f2p players
One of my personal favorite strats as an average person player is to just go and unlock all the waypoints I can excluding the ones you only get through quests so I can seamlessly access everything I may need during story and farming and general just playing the damn game lol
Welcome to the f2p life doro
Pinky swears for real cause its my birthday on Saturday! Do the side quests!!! Get them frimos!
23:51 "didn't thought i would ever need this what is the number of Hu Tao give it to me asap"
CAN'T WAIT TO SEE DORO REDOING YAE MIKO CHALLENGE 🤣🤣
I love watch your videos..always feel for the video to be longer..sooo cozy
I think the best way of experiencing the F2P is to live the game as you like the most, and then yes, you'll get the 100%exploration to have the primos
I started a F2P account in HSR for EU server to add people from that region. And yea, playing completely F2P is much slower and makes you appreciate every bit of the free jade you get. I do find it more exhausting but also when you win 50/50s much more exciting.
The Neuv and Zhong moment was too funny.
I hope you enjoy your time playing with the f2p account 🎉
and world quests are important! a few of them unlock locations and chests, so it's best to do them. there's also the parametric transformer quest that's useful to get materials every 7 days.
Have a good game! 😄
p.s. That part about Neuvillette was absolutely hilarious😂😂😂 I watched your stream after I saw your tweet and it was really funny! 😂😂😂
p.s.2 the reason I rushed quests and exploration is because I was collecting primos for Nahida too. my bro said she was good and a must, but I failed to get her. so instead I saved for Raiden
Yeah the way to go about the progressing only when 100% the region is,
first archon quest, then sidequests and then explorarion.
5.3 has Arlecchino coming, so you can have her on the F2P account as a pyro Dps for the 2nd Abyss team
You should probably do the Archon Quests in order, but not 100% all regions. That way you get the quests in order and still catch the latest events
you can just unlock the teleport only not the seven statute so its still dark but you can still travel around so the map that open can be 100% first this make it easier to see the area border
Oh yes, Farming Gimel, Azhdaha or prenerfed Forsaken Rift with very unsuitable low level characters. I feel my ptsd coming back.
The Liyue archon quest has so much blatant foreshadowing it's hilarious, like "oh our archon will be with us foreeevvvveeerrrr" girl. Girl are you sure about that
I still believe in no early pity......
it's insane to me how he can do Genshin for a living without even knowing about how fun the exploration aspect is, which is arguably the biggest component of the game lol
As an f2p, I can say that nothing is more satisfying than an early pity 5 star.
Especially when you wanted them but didn’t have enough pull for guarantee
I wanted to be f2p but…. mualani had other plans for me
After playing from 2.5 to 4.0 completely f2p, then consistently getting BP and welking every patch, and THEN making several f2p accounts at various points later on really teaches you the difference between putting in even the smallest amounts of donations in these games 😅. i can only imagine how drastic the difference is between a f2p and whale expirience might feel
You can claim Kachina for your Liyue exploration if you do some small Natlan quest 🙃
Using a welkin that is gifted is not breaking f2p SINCE YOU NEVER BOUGHT THE WELKIN
true, but he has to trash it as a streamer because some people love to "gift" primos with the purpose of saying "you're a liar, your account isn't f2p" Setting that boundary is just better for Doro in the long run so he doesn't have to deal with it over and over.
