      maybe his reason is based on evidence and studies. he is just summarising it.

    I am for human exceptionalism theologically among the animals, but there seems a bit of ideology speaking into evifence going into this talk at least at first blush. I would love to be proven wrong and I am sure it is likely just an artifact of this particular presentation, but a list of references for personal review would be very helpful veridically.
    Espescoally the part where he is saying he knows what the primatologists say but disagrees, that can be done, but that needs good backing if the people that study the animals for a living are taking a countering stance.
    I am being a critic because we want to prove the concept to those critical of the position.
