Wear eye protection every time, I have a mate with a glass eye from when a grinder sent a metal shard through his eyeball. I have the same brake kit and it’s great for track use, I ran it with spacers for a while (with longer nuts so no need to cut the studs) spacers mess up the geometry though so now running different wheels with no spacers needed
Bravo friend, I loved the video. These brakes look very good and they should work very well, right? I have a Fiesta like yours and it brakes well as standard but they get tired quickly. May I ask if the whole kit is very expensive? Thank you very much and continue with your videos! I am following your project very closely. A hug from Spain. ❤
Very nice and informative video. I plan to do the same on my Mk8 ST Edition. Do you always need the spacers or does it depend on the type of rims on the car? I'm running the black Ford performance wheels. I'm also curious if you already fitted the shorter studs and what size they are. And do you require a tool for fitting them.
Depends what you want from a map really. Mountune is very conservative with everything so I would say it's the safest. I will be doing a comparison video soon.
I think EBC do a rear brake disc with the same disc pattern as the front BBK, for the MK8.. They do for the MK7 as I have it so sure the MK8 has the same size disc...
Another excellent video buddy, really finding these series of video’s useful, thank you. Quick question; looks like you went for 15mm spacers on the rear as well as the front. Any reason you didn’t go with 20mm spacers on the rears?! Keep up the good work; will look forward to your next video and would appreciate you detailing the ride/comfort/handling with the Eibach springs coupled with the spacers now 🙂 Edit; apologies for another question but will you now get the wheels/suspension realigned/tracked as you’ve adjusted the geometry with both the springs and spacers…..?! Thanks in advance!
Cheers Mate I only went with the 15mm as I wanted to keep the offset the same. I may change to 20mm later down the line. I will do a review of the full setup soon. and yes I will get a full alinement done soon.
I don’t think anyone needs these brakes unless taking the car on track. I picked my 3door mk8.5 ST up last weekend and the brakes are sharp and hard to get used to compared to my mk7 ST which i had upgraded discs and pads on.
3 door Race Red ST3 with panoramic roof, looks fantastic. A guy near me has a white i20N, lovely looking car just a shame its 5door only as I didn’t even want a 5door ST and waited almost a year for a good one with only 6000 miles on it.
As always, love the video's. Cheers buddy!

good job. thanks
Quick question pal are you getting much vibration with the torque mount cheers
Question here, do you have to run spacers with these wheels for the bbk?
Hi Great
Looks the nuts. And yes stock breakers on the st are not that good at all
i have to say those brakes look really good.. nice job... How did you go on with the TRS map as they said you might have had bad fuel in the car??
Cheers mate, car runs so much better with good fuel. Still haven't had the chance to get it on a dyno as yet.
Did you need spacers on the 18" wheels to mount the brake?

Hi mate what pressure bleeder did you use please?
What's your thoughts on the trs map to the mountune m235?
Thinking of going for mountune but want to hear Ur thoughts since uve experienced both.

@@G5MAV great! Look forward to that

lol
cheese for letting me know.
I am dyslexic and didn't notice. I would never of noticed without you pointing it out.
I have changed it now.
The i20N has great breaks as standard 🤔£££’s saved 😂😂😂
Promo_SM
🤔Don’t need to spend this extra money on the i20N 🫢
What’s with the pointless replies mate, go watch some I20 videos and just enjoy your car ffs 🙄
