A 5 year F2P here. Just wanted to say that it's incredible that you already have 285 Ops after 2 years, I thought it would take a lot longer to reach these numbers. I have 310, so you could say the dif between 2 years and 5 years of play is negligible. Truly, Arknights is an amazing gacha.
It is nice how being a collector as a F2P is viable in AK, though I'd like to point out that the difference in years of play probably amounts to how many operators there are in the game. You're more likely to get more pots and not the few operators you're missing as you get closer to owning all of them.
Considering that pretty much everything can be cleared with 4 and 5 star operators,I'd say Arknights is pretty F2P friendly by virtue of being a game where you don't necessarily NEED a specific high rarity operator to win. You can easily farm the currency too and most people only spend on event packs because those are the only things that are worth money. I have spent money strictly on event packs through my time playing Arknights and my account is pretty similar to this,with a few extra operators. You can 100% get an amazing account that can clear everything and extra without a dime spent on the game. I spend primarily because I want to support the developers.
I love Arknights so much. I'm F2p too, have been playing for just over 4 years on the EN server, and it's the only gatcha where I could get almost all operators (I have 301 atm, most 6* except a few ones that I couldn't get bc of scarce resources + bad luck) and over 100 skins, all without buying any originite prime. IMO the fact that we're behind the CN server shedule-wise helps a lot, planning ahead is the way to go if you want to get your favorite ops and skins. Good luck with your pulls!!
I am also f2p and we have about the same numbers of operators but you've got so many more e2l90 than i do. the difference is, I've been level up many more lower star operators than you do because i was really struggling with getting the top operators to come around, but some of the low star ones turned out to be surprisingly good and fun to play with
I'm moving in the same direction as you thanks to IS and its nodes with free upgrades for 4-5* operators. For me, all operators were divided into 2 groups: E2 90 for CC (the first ~16 months) and niche 6* + low-stars for IS (16+ months from the creation of the account). And I don't feel the need in expanding the first group anymore, so here comes Quercus, Podenco, Bubble, Perfumer, Caper.. I'm having fun with all of them in IS4.
100% agree with everything you say. I started my f2p 4 star only account about 6 months ago. And I have plenty of resources. Definitely helps to plan ahead and get your research in before making decisions.
i love that arknights is f2p friendly. i typically only play during the first few days of an event bcus of how busy i am but i always have enough income to build and pull new ops i like
Massive respect, you have an anamazing account and i hope to get there sometime too, i’m a newer player who started in August, and while i do spend a little every month i definitely do notice that the game is quite generous with droprates and rewards in comparison to most other gacha games. Another thing that isn’t talked about often, but that i can not stress enough is that you can get basically all skins for free, i have never seen another gacha game like that as most have at least one skin that can only be bought with real money.
I can confirm this is true. I have 2 accounts playing from the release date. One is a slight spender and the other is completely f2p. Now when I look at them they have no significant difference. However, with f2p account, I skipped non-meta operators, sometimes even limited operators and I just bought skins recently. Now my f2p has pretty much all meta/core operators, all necessary skills are M3, 830 Op, 25mil LMD, blue mat 300+ each, can easily E2 and M3 right away without farming. Unfortunately, luck was not on my side recently, while aiming for another 6* operator is dual banner, I only got the other one, which left me 30 pulls (ondurum) left. In return, I have Texas Alter and Gavial Alt full potential.

i could say im technically a 4 years f2p doctor, since my accouny was created in 2020, but at that moment i got burnt out of the game very quickly and left the game for 3 years (i was lvl 15 i think). only coming back mid 2023 because a friend of mine makes fun of me for not having lappland in the game while she is written everywhere on my phone and also having a figurine of her in my house (yes my waifu is lappland), so i came back and started to play the game again (i think at that time it was the ines banner) and i got ines during my first 10 pulls since i came back so i just started grinding since. So you could say that im just 1 year into the game and my operator roster is already busted since i got both logos vs wisadel in the recent banner. So yes, it is very f2p friendly .
Ive been playing Arknights since 2021 and this game become the longest period of game that Im playing. Arknights account progression aged like a wine, the longer you play the easier your here. Meta units always exist but everything basically still doable with older operators.
Same honestly, March 2021 iirc and I'm just cruizing now while still enjoying the challenge of IS, RA and the new mechanics they introduce rather often in new events.
Been playing as a F2P since 2020 and I have to say that Arknights is really generous with their orundums and free pulls etc, luckily I got all the operators that I want and thankfully still have 300k orundums after that 😅 my key to save orundums back then is pretty much just roll for any meta operators first and when you already got your base operators that you want and comfortable playing with then you can roll for the operators that you like and I try to not roll for copies after I already got the operator, and I make it a habit to just skip banner all the time to saved up but it seems like it could be hard (as I also skipped virtuosa I regret skipping her banner tbh)
It's not being f2p, it's being very, very lucky. It is impossible to have this account without reaching the end of the banners, you are the type of person who gets the promo in one go. I have 2 years and more than 300 dollars and not even half the characters.😢
you're not as dedicated to the game as he is. you really don't have to spend money in the game to get many operators. you have to know when to pull on which banners
3 Wisadel 9 Logos is crazy lucky for 300 pulls. I got 2 Logos, 1 Wisadel, 1 dupe of Mudrock and 1 Hoederer in 210 pulls but i think I'm quite unlucky this banner.
@@chk2596 Tbh my luck has been good up until this banner, got Shu in 20 pulls and Ela in 20 pulls so I guess it comes and goes was just commenting on 9 Logos 2 Wisadel and 2 dupe characters that the account got on the current banner is pretty insane luck, thats 13 6 stars in 300 pulls which is way above average.
That's impossible. Even if what you said is true, I can only think that you don't farm the yellow certificate. Or that you don't manage your pull well. Sure you won't get lucky everytime, but you do get lucky sometime. Friendly tip: Set a target on non-limited banner For example 1. Max 10~30 pull. 2. Don't be greedy, if you overextend your pull, prepare to save. but overextend should be avoided 3. Missing standard banner is completely fine, you get them soon or later. 4. Farm yellow cert. recruitment ticket and headhunting ticket is highest priority. (except if you want to yellow cert a 6*) 5. You can splurge in non-limited banner, but if you know what you are doing and have enough saving.

Since my priority in the credit store is [recruitment permits > EXP/LMD/gold > rocks > carbon (for NCD conversion)], I always have some extra rocks. I've played arknights since last year, I made 3 accounts and the 4th one a month ago. And it was so.. brain draining, I raised that 3 accounts one by one and all of them have reached lvl 90+. I'm somehow proud of myself even when I know that arknights are just a way to kill your free time. I'm an f2p player (except for my 3rd account, because I brought a pack to get wis'adel desperately) and this game is sick.. well played, for you all F2p players, peace✌️
I've been playing AK as a F2P Player for 3 years and 4 months myself, and my account is in a somewhat similar position, except without the OP as I prioritise using it for outfits (301 operators recruited, 171 outfits owned). I would say AK is F2P friendly as far as gacha games go, but I still think it's important to remember that being a gacha game means that no matter how good the rates are, if it wants to give you a bad time you will have a bad time. There is a difference between good rates and good luck (ie. pulling a lot of six stars you don't want, such as off-banners). My luck was experiencing a downturn before Wisadel, mainly having to spend a lot of pulls on debut banners, losing 5 50/50s and going to 120 for Ela, and missing out on Ascalon to an off-banner Passenger pot. Luckily, it turned around when Wisadel released, and I got her in the free multi. I haven't spent any more pulls yet but I'm hoping to get Logos as well.
I just started 4 months ago and now have around 8 E2 Lvl 60 Ops (with some being the best in their archetypes. Texas Alter is the only "Broken" op I currently have though). I'm glad to know that I can reach that level someday.
started a f2p account back in august of 2023. I usually e2 60 my operators. managed to clear all the content 6 months in and haven't had issues since. I saved up 300 pulls to spark Texas on W banner. getting a pot 6 W on the banner so I e2 90'd her I have 95 elite 1's and 60 elite 2's 3 4 stars 12 5 stars and the rest six stars at elite 2. While saving up for Sparking I didn't pull much so I raised almost all of my 6 stars to elite 2 except lessing, vigil, civlight eterna, and my recently acquired Texas. (mats went into Logos and wisadel before running out of XP tickets because I e2 90'd her) so thats 45 e2 6 stars + 4 unraised at e2 60 and no issue clearing content. that includes welfare. I had to skip a bunch of semi juicy banners to spark. degenbrecher, Reed rerun, and ascalon. but since I could clear BB-S-4 CM I figure my team is functional. Haven't actually done RA to completion, just got the rewards so far, was actually moving on completing it. mainly for the mats to finish logos then work on texas.
1.5 years F2P. I love this game. I play daily, I have maxed IS4 (I can see your medal set, heck yeah mate). I've got many meta units such as Surtr, Młynar, Mountain, Nightingale, Ines etc. I enjoy the game, I think it's really generous to F2P players. I'm Lv 105. I've got 49 skins bcuz I often buy them using Originte Prime bcuz why not, it's not that useful for other things, I've got plenty of good operators, the skins are often cool. I even sent Wisadel to E0 Lv 1 jail bcuz she's too OP. Młynar and Surtr have their downsides, Wish Adele is just too OP. So yeah, F2P friendly game, unlike Genshin, I'm so glad I switched from Genshin to Arknights
As a 18 months F2P, I already have 259 Ops, but I buy a lot of skins with originium prime, and don't have as many E2 90s, but have build most of my 6* to E2 60, and built most of the decent 4 stars and 5 stars.

Im F2P and this is insane extra lucky account , i play 4 years with cca 1 year pause in and have 3 less sixstar then you ( still year more )XD like i got eunectes around 12x times in those years and many 6 star are +3 or more ( also 10 limited characters if i see right in 2 years just how .
The first time I faced the harsh reality was on the CH14 banner, when I got my first Wisadel at around the 270th roll (not counting the guaranteed one). I take it as payback for getting Texas/Yato in less than 50 rolls combined. In theory, a couple of years should be enough to smooth out even highly variable data such as rolls. I think my average is a little bit skewed toward lucky ~80 rolls for a targeted 6*. I wish we had a stats for previous banners in game.
yeah same, i feel like maybe hes been buying the monthly pack cause being max level with so many max level characters is alot of sanity used in just 2 years plenty of players in my friend list still arent max lvl despite playing for over 3 years. i remember a reddit post of a guy who got max lvl in under a year in arknights when it first launched and he had spent thousands on his acc

As a dolphin spending only a bit on big celebrations, i have 90-95% of 6 stars and skins for pretty much every single 6 star and a few 5 stars. I've never had problems with pulling the units i wanted with only f2p orundum only, leaving all the OP to buy skins :D
as a 2.5 year F2P player you have a better account than me lol. thats because i keep going offline for months i only log in if there's a limited banner tho still somehow i have decent number of six stars but most of them arent build.
When it comes to 6* characters, I have 51 of them after 1.5 years of play, so I think it's good, but when it comes to limited characters, you're much better here. If I don't get lucky with the upcoming banners, I'll still be worse off, even though I spent about $60.
A9 is very F2P friendly, not only for its rate but its 12+1 squad allow many flexibility. I only truly spent one time to buy a 20x pack. The other spending was all occasionally monthly card, mostly for AP, not for gacha currency. It was so funny my previous gacha game was fgo. After that game every gacha game is f2p friendly for me :D
I have an old account with Shu that just got Wisadel and Logos on it, so I have been on tryhard f2p mode to get them raised! Just did e2 myrtle and got to have fun with e2 wisadel. I want Lappland alter, but I also want siege alter, and maybe others, so it is hard but I will try and hope it works out. Nice video.
I passed my 2 years anniversary 9 days ago. I'm not F2P as I bought 2 years worth of monthly cards but nonetheless my account long since reached the overpowered state. After recent pulls, I have 72x 6* operators including most of the limited (I'm only missing, W, Rosmontis, Nian, Chongyue, Ash) I only went for 300 spark once. Meanwhile out of standard units, I don't have any 6* left that I would consider high priority. That being said, ever since I gotten Chalter, 3 months into my playing time I was able to clear everything with no issues. It really doesn't take long for a new player to get tot he state where they can clear all the content. Hell, a new player right now can instantly start with Wisadel and Logos. Finish, building two of them and you can probably clear everything.
4 and almost 5 year doctor here and f2p guy on most games general speaking it's overall great game along with visuals and more i stayed over this long from start of w banner up until now i have collected a lot limiteds and true limiteds sometimes luck favors some people some don't it's mostly stakes pay if you have enough orundrum save spend a little to support anime in the past shwarz banner after that it's f2p all the way.
Im f2p who buys some skins (44 ) my personal philosophy on skins is that if the e2 art of a great character makes me not play them the skin will be an upgrade. Eg kaltst l2d, thorns and 5* Texas

yeah I am also f2p and I can tell you that this game is truly f2p, its just better if you start early on, I've missed one year cuz I started 1 year later but my account is pretty much very good to the point people don't trust me that im a f2p.
i pretty much started AK 3 weeks ago im enjoying it so far, it really makes me feel dumber and dumber the more i play this game, i sometimes wonder if i ever used my brain before AK cause it really pushes u to use it. I also just reached my 2 Year badge last september and boi my account has a lot of gap compared to yours. We both have same principle about what banners to pull but I mostly rely on luck on my Limited pulls which luckily didn't nuked my account (Manage to pull all limited except the old ones). As for raising operators O__O I just raised peeps i like and im not gonna elaborate but if youre curious you can check the vid on this acc. DO NOT judge me tho
a week different. 2022-10-19. 284 operator owned. different path chosen. all 6* e2lv60 with exception of lv90 for some op that benefits greatly from stats. 104 outfits. only use prime for outfits. never pull for pots nor doing 300 pulls. pulled both ela and ash that need me to proc hard pity (120x2) and broke my acc 😂
I played for 3 years just 2 weeks ago and my acc looks nothing like that. I only got 6 Level 90 ops and I only pull on Limited Banners and that only happens every 6 months or 3 if its a Super Limited. And SM's I'm so broke to do them continuously . I'm not sure how you guys manage to have so many resources or I'm just lazy to do the work. Yeah I'm lazy haha.
@@10kkk_24 @ironwiredglasses yes, I would not recommend to do so (upgrading to E2 90lvl). E2 60-70 is the most optimal. I did it only because I needed to squeeze everything I could for one CC, and after that, it became a habit, costing me a lot of other operators I could have leveled up.
Hello. I´m new to Arknights and also a F2P Player. I started the game 3 days ago. I haven´t watched any beginner guide/tipps videos yet(I´m to lazy to watch them). Seening your account in this video it seems like that with enought time you can get almost every charackter and other things in the game. The only thing that worries me is that "limited operator" thing. I asked ChatGBT and it told me that: "there are some characters in Arknights that you can’t obtain anymore through regular means". And that some are Nian from the “Earthborn Metals” event; W from the “Cremation Last Wish” event; Rosmontis from the “Forget Me Not” event; Ash from the “Operation Originium Dust” crossover event. So does this mean that there is no way to optained this operators anymore. Isn´t this bad for new players?. The second thing I wanted to say is that I spend all of my Orundum AND Originium (I hope I called it correctly) on 20 pulls. Was that Good, just stupid or the worst thing I could do? Does this have a strong impact on my account progress? Should i maybe even consider creating a new account again. I would really appreciate an answer and it would be great if you could answer all my questions
1. limited operators: in general limited banners will nor rerun with some exceptions like Ash banner. Limited characters are strong, but not mandatory for stages. You can just upgrade any useful 4* operator to E2 and get a friend with Ling to carry you through 90% of stages. You still can get old limited through "sparking" - buying an old limited operator from the shop after 300 pulls on any limited banner (so like 1-2 old limited characters per year on f2p). Also if you're pulling a new limited banner you can get old limited characters from it, but with a very low chance. I'd say the priority for old lim. would be Texas2/Yato2 > Virtuosa/Eya2 (when they will be available for sparking) 2. well, they meant to be spent on pulls unless you want to buy outfits. for a brand new account I would roll a (newbie banner + Wisadel banner) looking for Wisadel + 2\3 meta ops. If they did not appeared in the first 30 rolls, just create a new one. Overall you cannot brick your account (with an exception of planning the base; this is the large topic and tldr; is "Leave the office at level 1" and come back to it when you fully understand all nuances of the base)
I would not bother with limiteds at all, just get the Wis from the banner (and Texas2 if you're very lucky) by recreating temp. accounts (like without linking email) and that's all. I'm not using 90% of my limiteds and not aiming for getting an old ones since they either powercrept by the new non-limited operators or can be replaceable with other operators I like more.
been playing since year 1 back when Blaze came out and back when everyone was saving for the W/Weedy banner. I'm at the point where I actively try to avoid meta units because at least once a year I get burn out from relying on them too much. It happened to Surtr then Chalter then Texalte Mlynar and now Wisadel. Right now I'm more interested in 4 stars and 5 stars

I would stop. If you have just started, you need to focus on a variety of operators first. The ideal banner would be a Joint Operation banner with 4 strong operators, of which you do not have 3 or all 4.

It's not being f2p, it's being very, very lucky. It is impossible to have this account without reaching the end of the banners, you are the type of person who gets the promo in one go. I have 2 years and more than 300 dollars and not even half the characters.😢
you're not as dedicated to the game as he is. you really don't have to spend money in the game to get many operators. you have to know when to pull on which banners
3 Wisadel 9 Logos is crazy lucky for 300 pulls. I got 2 Logos, 1 Wisadel, 1 dupe of Mudrock and 1 Hoederer in 210 pulls but i think I'm quite unlucky this banner.
Imean, my account is kinda simmilar, also been playing for 2-3 years, so maybe he's a bit above average luck, but still a pretty good basline
@@chk2596 Tbh my luck has been good up until this banner, got Shu in 20 pulls and Ela in 20 pulls so I guess it comes and goes was just commenting on 9 Logos 2 Wisadel and 2 dupe characters that the account got on the current banner is pretty insane luck, thats 13 6 stars in 300 pulls which is way above average.

I can only think that you don't farm the yellow certificate.
Or that you don't manage your pull well.
Sure you won't get lucky everytime, but you do get lucky sometime.
Friendly tip:
Set a target on non-limited banner
For example
1. Max 10~30 pull.
2. Don't be greedy, if you overextend your pull, prepare to save. but overextend should be avoided
3. Missing standard banner is completely fine, you get them soon or later.
4. Farm yellow cert.
recruitment ticket and headhunting ticket is highest priority. (except if you want to yellow cert a 6*)
5. You can splurge in non-limited banner, but if you know what you are doing and have enough saving.

Thank you! I do not farm rocks, but I do convert rocks to orundum if I have enough Orirock-family materials for the operators I'm planning to M1-3/E2 in the next ~6 months.
Since my priority in the credit store is [recruitment permits > EXP/LMD/gold > rocks > carbon (for NCD conversion)], I always have some extra rocks.
I've used this calculator to simulate the ratio of (rolls from rocks conversion / other rolls sources) and came to conclusion that it's not really worth the spent sanity in my strategy of raising the ops.

I've played arknights since last year, I made 3 accounts and the 4th one a month ago. And it was so.. brain draining, I raised that 3 accounts one by one and all of them have reached lvl 90+. I'm somehow proud of myself even when I know that arknights are just a way to kill your free time. I'm an f2p player (except for my 3rd account, because I brought a pack to get wis'adel desperately) and this game is sick.. well played, for you all F2p players, peace✌️
I've been playing AK as a F2P Player for 3 years and 4 months myself, and my account is in a somewhat similar position, except without the OP as I prioritise using it for outfits (301 operators recruited, 171 outfits owned). I would say AK is F2P friendly as far as gacha games go, but I still think it's important to remember that being a gacha game means that no matter how good the rates are, if it wants to give you a bad time you will have a bad time.
There is a difference between good rates and good luck (ie. pulling a lot of six stars you don't want, such as off-banners). My luck was experiencing a downturn before Wisadel, mainly having to spend a lot of pulls on debut banners, losing 5 50/50s and going to 120 for Ela, and missing out on Ascalon to an off-banner Passenger pot. Luckily, it turned around when Wisadel released, and I got her in the free multi. I haven't spent any more pulls yet but I'm hoping to get Logos as well.
I just started 4 months ago and now have around 8 E2 Lvl 60 Ops (with some being the best in their archetypes. Texas Alter is the only "Broken" op I currently have though). I'm glad to know that I can reach that level someday.
started a f2p account back in august of 2023. I usually e2 60 my operators. managed to clear all the content 6 months in and haven't had issues since.
I saved up 300 pulls to spark Texas on W banner. getting a pot 6 W on the banner so I e2 90'd her I have 95 elite 1's and 60 elite 2's 3 4 stars 12 5 stars and the rest six stars at elite 2.
While saving up for Sparking I didn't pull much so I raised almost all of my 6 stars to elite 2 except lessing, vigil, civlight eterna, and my recently acquired Texas. (mats went into Logos and wisadel before running out of XP tickets because I e2 90'd her)
so thats 45 e2 6 stars + 4 unraised at e2 60 and no issue clearing content. that includes welfare.
I had to skip a bunch of semi juicy banners to spark. degenbrecher, Reed rerun, and ascalon. but since I could clear BB-S-4 CM I figure my team is functional.
Haven't actually done RA to completion, just got the rewards so far, was actually moving on completing it. mainly for the mats to finish logos then work on texas.
1.5 years F2P. I love this game. I play daily, I have maxed IS4 (I can see your medal set, heck yeah mate). I've got many meta units such as Surtr, Młynar, Mountain, Nightingale, Ines etc. I enjoy the game, I think it's really generous to F2P players. I'm Lv 105. I've got 49 skins bcuz I often buy them using Originte Prime bcuz why not, it's not that useful for other things, I've got plenty of good operators, the skins are often cool. I even sent Wisadel to E0 Lv 1 jail bcuz she's too OP. Młynar and Surtr have their downsides, Wish Adele is just too OP. So yeah, F2P friendly game, unlike Genshin, I'm so glad I switched from Genshin to Arknights
As a 18 months F2P, I already have 259 Ops, but I buy a lot of skins with originium prime, and don't have as many E2 90s, but have build most of my 6* to E2 60, and built most of the decent 4 stars and 5 stars.

Im F2P and this is insane extra lucky account , i play 4 years with cca 1 year pause in and have 3 less sixstar then you ( still year more )XD like i got eunectes around 12x times in those years and many 6 star are +3 or more ( also 10 limited characters if i see right in 2 years just how .
The first time I faced the harsh reality was on the CH14 banner, when I got my first Wisadel at around the 270th roll (not counting the guaranteed one). I take it as payback for getting Texas/Yato in less than 50 rolls combined. In theory, a couple of years should be enough to smooth out even highly variable data such as rolls. I think my average is a little bit skewed toward lucky ~80 rolls for a targeted 6*. I wish we had a stats for previous banners in game.
yeah same, i feel like maybe hes been buying the monthly pack cause being max level with so many max level characters is alot of sanity used in just 2 years plenty of players in my friend list still arent max lvl despite playing for over 3 years. i remember a reddit post of a guy who got max lvl in under a year in arknights when it first launched and he had spent thousands on his acc

As a dolphin spending only a bit on big celebrations, i have 90-95% of 6 stars and skins for pretty much every single 6 star and a few 5 stars. I've never had problems with pulling the units i wanted with only f2p orundum only, leaving all the OP to buy skins :D
as a 2.5 year F2P player you have a better account than me lol. thats because i keep going offline for months i only log in if there's a limited banner tho still somehow i have decent number of six stars but most of them arent build.
When it comes to 6* characters, I have 51 of them after 1.5 years of play, so I think it's good, but when it comes to limited characters, you're much better here. If I don't get lucky with the upcoming banners, I'll still be worse off, even though I spent about $60.

A9 is very F2P friendly, not only for its rate but its 12+1 squad allow many flexibility. I only truly spent one time to buy a 20x pack. The other spending was all occasionally monthly card, mostly for AP, not for gacha currency.
It was so funny my previous gacha game was fgo. After that game every gacha game is f2p friendly for me :D
I have an old account with Shu that just got Wisadel and Logos on it, so I have been on tryhard f2p mode to get them raised! Just did e2 myrtle and got to have fun with e2 wisadel. I want Lappland alter, but I also want siege alter, and maybe others, so it is hard but I will try and hope it works out. Nice video.
I passed my 2 years anniversary 9 days ago. I'm not F2P as I bought 2 years worth of monthly cards but nonetheless my account long since reached the overpowered state.
After recent pulls, I have 72x 6* operators including most of the limited (I'm only missing, W, Rosmontis, Nian, Chongyue, Ash) I only went for 300 spark once. Meanwhile out of standard units, I don't have any 6* left that I would consider high priority.
That being said, ever since I gotten Chalter, 3 months into my playing time I was able to clear everything with no issues. It really doesn't take long for a new player to get tot he state where they can clear all the content. Hell, a new player right now can instantly start with Wisadel and Logos. Finish, building two of them and you can probably clear everything.
4 and almost 5 year doctor here and f2p guy on most games general speaking it's overall great game along with visuals and more i stayed over this long from start of w banner up until now i have collected a lot limiteds and true limiteds sometimes luck favors some people some don't it's mostly stakes pay if you have enough orundrum save spend a little to support anime in the past shwarz banner after that it's f2p all the way.
Im f2p who buys some skins (44 ) my personal philosophy on skins is that if the e2 art of a great character makes me not play them the skin will be an upgrade. Eg kaltst l2d, thorns and 5* Texas

yeah I am also f2p and I can tell you that this game is truly f2p, its just better if you start early on, I've missed one year cuz I started 1 year later but my account is pretty much very good to the point people don't trust me that im a f2p.

I also just reached my 2 Year badge last september and boi my account has a lot of gap compared to yours. We both have same principle about what banners to pull but I mostly rely on luck on my Limited pulls which luckily didn't nuked my account (Manage to pull all limited except the old ones). different path chosen. all 6* e2lv60 with exception of lv90 for some op that benefits greatly from stats. 104 outfits. only use prime for outfits. never pull for pots nor doing 300 pulls. pulled both ela and ash that need me to proc hard pity (120x2) and broke my acc 😂
I played for 3 years just 2 weeks ago and my acc looks nothing like that. I only got 6 Level 90 ops and I only pull on Limited Banners and that only happens every 6 months or 3 if its a Super Limited. And SM's I'm so broke to do them continuously . I'm not sure how you guys manage to have so many resources or I'm just lazy to do the work. Yeah I'm lazy haha.

@@10kkk_24 @ironwiredglasses yes, I would not recommend to do so (upgrading to E2 90lvl). E2 60-70 is the most optimal. I did it only because I needed to squeeze everything I could for one CC, and after that, it became a habit, costing me a lot of other operators I could have leveled up.

Hello. I´m new to Arknights and also a F2P Player. I started the game 3 days ago. I haven´t watched any beginner guide/tipps videos yet(I´m to lazy to watch them). Seening your account in this video it seems like that with enought time you can get almost every charackter and other things in the game. The only thing that worries me is that "limited operator" thing. I asked ChatGBT and it told me that: "there are some characters in Arknights that you can’t obtain anymore through regular means". And that some are Nian from the “Earthborn Metals” event; W from the “Cremation Last Wish” event; Rosmontis from the “Forget Me Not” event; Ash from the “Operation Originium Dust” crossover event. So does this mean that there is no way to optained this operators anymore. Isn´t this bad for new players?. The second thing I wanted to say is that I spend all of my Orundum AND Originium (I hope I called it correctly) on 20 pulls. Was that Good, just stupid or the worst thing I could do? Does this have a strong impact on my account progress? Should i maybe even consider creating a new account again. I would really appreciate an answer and it would be great if you could answer all my questions
1. limited operators: in general limited banners will nor rerun with some exceptions like Ash banner. Limited characters are strong, but not mandatory for stages. You can just upgrade any useful 4* operator to E2 and get a friend with Ling to carry you through 90% of stages.
You still can get old limited through "sparking" - buying an old limited operator from the shop after 300 pulls on any limited banner (so like 1-2 old limited characters per year on f2p). Also if you're pulling a new limited banner you can get old limited characters from it, but with a very low chance. I'd say the priority for old lim. would be Texas2/Yato2 > Virtuosa/Eya2 (when they will be available for sparking)
2. well, they meant to be spent on pulls unless you want to buy outfits. for a brand new account I would roll a (newbie banner + Wisadel banner) looking for Wisadel + 2\3 meta ops. If they did not appeared in the first 30 rolls, just create a new one.
Overall you cannot brick your account (with an exception of planning the base; this is the large topic and tldr; is "Leave the office at level 1" and come back to it when you fully understand all nuances of the base)
I would not bother with limiteds at all, just get the Wis from the banner (and Texas2 if you're very lucky) by recreating temp. accounts (like without linking email) and that's all. I'm not using 90% of my limiteds and not aiming for getting an old ones since they either powercrept by the new non-limited operators or can be replaceable with other operators I like more.

I'm at the point where I actively try to avoid meta units because at least once a year I get burn out from relying on them too much. It happened to Surtr then Chalter then Texalte Mlynar and now Wisadel. Right now I'm more interested in 4 stars and 5 stars

I would stop. If you have just started, you need to focus on a variety of operators first. The ideal banner would be a Joint Operation banner with 4 strong operators, of which you do not have 3 or all 4.
