I remember my mate playing this in his Cavalier SRI on his 1.2KW system. The bass used to make you feel sick it was like being slammed in the back with a sledge hammer. Luuuuuuuuuuvely!!!!!!
Radio edits always kill these wicked intros. Obviously it goes with the territory of a shortened version, however it’s a shame that a lot of people miss out on how their favourite tracks actually sound in full.
My ex-wife bought me this CD 20+ years ago and especially Ebeneezer blew my mind. I'm an artist and I played it over and over while working on an art project. Then my CD player crashed finally and I couldn't find it online. Finally it's online and I'm so glad to be playing it again!! Still as good as all get out!!
Wow top tune. best version by far. 1992 Dome Birmingham. God what has happend to this classic music. Bring it back I say. Shamen you gave us some class tunes thank you.
The original was more cheddar.. but catchy. This mix is cheeseCAKE, SwEEEt! BEATS BE KICKN HARD BACK THEN.. AND THAT ACID OVERLAY SAMPLE. E'S WERGOOD😅E. I DO WANT2 FIND THIS mix on Vinyl. LUUVLY....hahaha ha haaa
Geil!!!! Hab diese Version seit "Jahrzehnten" nicht mehr gehört!!!! Hatte sie mal auf ner Kassette, und die ging halt leider im Laufe der Zeit verloren, als ich älter wurde*lol* Thx 4 upping!!!!
Why the hell am I still looking for songs, I subbed to you ages ago, I should simply stop searching for songs and instead just browse your uploads... Thanks a bunch, never thought anyone would have the same taste in music as me.
I remember, and would love to find, a remix where the bpm was slowed slightly and the line was changed to "A great philosopher once wrote, something I'd like you all to hear." Had a lot of banging nights at Mr C's club The End back in the 90's. Can't remember a lot of it though. 😂
@Kenta19191919 Yes, it's mostly about E's (Ecstasy/LSD) The chorus goes "Eezer Goode, Eezer Goode"... which sounds like "E's are good, E's are good" Notice also the number of letter "E"'s in the title!
@TitchTV I've got to say, my fave version of ProGen/Move Any Mountain is the Beatmaster's 7" Mix, aka Beat Edit. i.e. the one which was a no.4 hit in 1991.
Fuckin great track. So in yer face especially at that time too! What I love the most is that the band denied it ever had anything to do with drugs - quality! Oh yeh and remember kids going fishing is statistically more dangerous than taking ecstasy!
Yes, it is also the LP (12") version. I took this from the Boss Drum album. Though it's more instrumental and longer, I think I prefer the 7" beat edit.
Funny how the song never gets old, but the Shamen did delete the recond even when it was at top spot and entered in to the UK charts forever people or LSI at the time.. but I personally think this is one of there best tracks apart from Progen (move any mountain) that the shamen ever done .. its amazing after all these years and now I friends with Richard (mr c) cool guy .. 30 years have passed and hes still and nice geezer lol
I have'nt got Monetisation on. In fact, it's been permanently disabled by TH-cam because I have 'Third party content' strikes against my account. Those ads are forced by YT because of the USA copyright holder's insistence. Example: I'm in the UK and I've a few (!!!) KLF tracks on here. Although The KLF owned their label KLF Communications and went on to deleted all their master tapes/records/tapes/CD's etc in 1992, and I'm told that in the UK, the download copyright longer exists.. continued
continued... Yes, the intellectual copyright probably does still exist in the UK; I can't just make another "What Time Is Love?" and say "that's all my own work" However, in the USA (where YT is based), the copyright holders there (Arista, I think) have NOT deleted their back-catalogue, so the download copyright still exists and as such some of my KLF uploads have a 'Third party strike' on them. This is one example where one country's laws/rules do not exactly match another country's!
@kramreprah Glad ya like it! :) I prefer the " version though, as I may have said many times before! :P Some people feel The Shamen went downhill after Will Sin's untimely death in 1991.
I remember my mate playing this in his Cavalier SRI on his 1.2KW system. The bass used to make you feel sick it was like being slammed in the back with a sledge hammer. Luuuuuuuuuuvely!!!!!!
Classic never dates
good old days know exactly what you mean

32 years ago??? Really, where did all that time go??
Wow top tune. best version by far. 1992 Dome Birmingham. God what has happend to this classic music. Bring it back I say. Shamen you gave us some class tunes thank you.

I have a friend who used to be a shamen, I play this song full blast whenever she comes round to take the piss! Peace and love! xxx
Use to rave to this back in the day! Particularly remember the high pitched synth effect at the beginning.
The intro is just fantastic
Amazing........Mr C !! what a legend
If you ever play this version out you understand the build up.
I bet it goes off
Production on this is outstanding. It may be seen as cheesy but you tell me a tune nowadays that is remotely as well engineered and clever as this?
They don t use 303 and 808 anymore. Also not 505. You can t do like that on Ipad or mobile phone...
Matthew Connor:...nope, it's not cheesy at all but I'll tell you what it IS, It's unfair! No such tune CAN be named... cos it doesn't exist!!!
By far the best version of this song, ive got this on tape somewhere, unless some fucka nicked it
The true power of a remix.
