After my first cd i bought in 2001 (AvB - 001 A State of Trance) i felt like (holy shit) what is this. A few tracks of that album did let me get goosebump all over my arms. Since then i bought 002, 003, 004 and other titles. My all time favourites are Communication and Shivers. In my opinion 2 of his best tracks ever made !!! AvB is still one hell of a DJ. ASOT radio 900 just past by, its now up to 1000 !!!!
We need Part 4 - cmon Armin - haha - actually he claimed that he’s done telling the communication story already. But I think there needs to be a return just for his oldest fans (like me). Been listening to Armin for a VERY long time (1998). Part 2 is my fav too but it hardly gets played in sets these days.

@ You don’t need to list some of these prior tracks - I’m quite familiar with them and just because you, like many others, prefer the simpler sounds of trance 15-25 years ago does not mean that any track since then is bad or cheap produced. I can easily point to more recent Rising Star tracks or even some under his actual name that are quite well produced. Edit: Also if you listen carefully to that earlier track I mentioned you will hear what many people hear - that is, elements that were often used in the early aughts. Sure, it isn’t exactly the same as the feeling you would get when listening to a track like Burned with Desire or Sail, but he does occasionally produce more “pure” trance tracks - and they don’t sound cheaply produced.
@@TranceFat I am a big critic of modern day tracks I know how I like trance to sound it's not specific way but it's more of a feeling but his recent tracks just lack the emotions or euphoria like his older tracks where they were amazing from start to finish. I only mentioned them because a lot of people don't understand when I said what I want to hear. In terms of execution or long shelf life they definitely do sound cheaply produced. I actually used to work for Airwave, Yoogie van Bellen too whom Armin has collaborated and played retrospectively. There was a lot of proper stuff back then. Well, his current stuff like what it feels like, the one you mentioned and the one with David Guetta too sound cheaply produced it lacks heart.

most of this is done with a roland jp 8000 which is a synthisizer and a wonderful machine youll hear it alot in late 90s techno and early 2000s techno too and a lot of isntrumental music from this time period after 1997

Part 3 is really similar to part 1 but with less bass and background, and a simple beat. Want to love it but i think Part 1 is better in everything. Part 2 is really fresh, love it.
Part 1 is the best, and part 2 adds a twist to the chords, which is pretty refreshing to listen to. Part 3 removed the funky bass, which makes me think its missing something.
