I've had the original purple pillow for about 18 months. I added 3 inch thick latex foam into the purple case and that made it thick enough. I love it, but I cannot sleep with a regular pillow now.
Well done man! I too have gone through life without ever really loving a pillow, while somehow still having an obsession. Will be keeping an eye out for deals on this “organ-meat” pillow. 🤣

I sleep on my couch bc I'm too lazy to go to bed lol but I was having massive headaches from constant neck cramps, I switched to this pillow almost 5 months ago, literally haven't had neck pain once since, you can wash out the powder just fyi
Good call on the powder tip! I was too lazy for that but wish I did when I got it. And that's CRAZY about your headaches. I have noticed less shoulder pain myself. I'm still loving it and touching it still brings me joy lol
I bought Purple's seat cushion and back support. The seat cushion is the Ultimate version at 130 dollars and it is excellent, but I noticed some of the purple material is starting to rip or come apart and it was only 3 months in. I contacted Purple and they wouldn't replace it; hence, saying cosmetic damages are not covered by the warranty.
Interesting. My pillow still feels firm months in. I still like it but almost feels like it's time for an update video. I wish I had more of their products to test out though. But when I got the pillow there were some rips I noticed on the grid. They haven't seemed to matter.

A couple things I forgot to mention in the video: -there is not king size version of this pillow. It's one size fits all. Though I have it on a king bed and the size is fine. -you CAN fully wash the pillow in a bath to rinse off all the powder if you want -this thing is heavy. 10lbs. Not the best road tripping pillow. -Purple DOES allow you to return it if you buy directly from them
Great idea! Although since my wife doesn't use her purple pillow our kiddo uses it and loves it... so I don't really have a use for one lol. But I'd love to, good call!

@@kingdavid4971 I think adults could definitely use it. And as far as stacking goes, the adult one does not benefit from stacking at all. You could just put any material underneath to raise it up and the comfort level would be the same.

@@kingdavid4971 Yeah you could for sure, it'd be heavy though!! That's like 15+ lbs of pillow lol. My biggest complaint with the purple pillow is that it sucks for watching tv with. I usually stack other pillows on top of it but since it doesn't fold up it's always sticking out.
Honestly I think I blasted it with some spray air. It wasn't that noticeable to us. The pillows are so tough though you could easily wash them with water if you were concerned. After the research I did initially I wasn't too worried about it. You thinking of getting one?!

I was able to rinse it with warm water and wash all the powder out. I stole it from her for a few nights and my head felt good sleeping on it. I ordered 2 purple pillows for my king size bed. i plan on blowing the white powder out or soaking it on warm water.
That's exciting! I have been tempted to try out the Purple harmony pillow as I like the idea of tapered edges but they aren't cheap! I'm still happy with mine. Every now and then I try other pillows but always go back... If you remember let me know how you like the bigger ones after you use them for awhile.
@@TheSAHDLife I had the purple harmony pillow, it felt great for the first 5-10 mins and then your head just sagged into it. It felt like I had no support so I returned it back to Purple. I don't know why so many youtubers raved about it. It wasnt for me for sure.
Haha @ sus. No need to ever flip it. And it would be way too high if you folded it in half. I love it for side sleeping although it's a little tall for when I'm on my back because I have a soft mattress. After having it for months now, I still like it. I switched pillows as I got tired of it, but then I missed it and went back. It's still my main!

Well you have piqued my interest! Did you try it out at a store or did you get one for yourself? What is better about it? Is it softer / more plush? This one is pretty flat.
@@TheSAHDLife the purple Harmony pillow is more expensive at $160 but it's like a mix between the pillow you have and the purple plush pillow. It's supposed to be really responsive and comfortable

The tall is a completely different feel its thicker and sits higher and much firmer. If its didn't sit so tell I would love it. I ended up going with the standard harmony. I love it however it sits a bit low for me and I think its losing its firmness as its joy been a few months. Ill be talking to customer service soon.

I think the $100 dollar one isn't really worth it however the harmony 1 is really impressive.
