Singaporean woman found dead in Spain was picked up outside hotel prior to incident

- Footage released by the Spanish Civil Guard on Friday (Apr 19) showed the vehicle that had picked up Singaporean Audrey Fang outside her hotel in Spain, a day before she was found dead with 30 stab wounds.
Investigators searched a hotel room after a Singaporean man was arrested in connection with her death. He appeared in a Spanish court on Friday.

This reminded me of a murder case in Singapore years ago. One African national who had overstayed in Singapore had lived in a camp erected by him in a bush. He befriended a 27 year old Singapore woman through the internet. The relationship turned sour and he murdered her brutally and dumped her body. I did not follow up with the story and wonder if the suspect was convicted. Can anyone update me on this case?

@@jillybeanjillybean2322 Affirmative. The victim's neighbours used to see the couple walking in the neighbourhood and found them "odd" because one seldom saw a local Chinese woman going so closely with a black, who appeared to be jobless, and was probably living on the woman's money.
