I just hope oneday the HR in India seriously take these topic seriously. As the speaker herself made it very clear that we are human and life sometimes takes some turns which are not in our hand but that does not mean that we became incompetent. Thank you Ma'am for these video.

If a person was a govt job aspirant and he was unable to get that particular job.
Now he wants to pursue the career he wanted which is second best of his interests.
He has shut the preparation for the govt. job.
This reason is told to the interviewer for the gap year.

How can he justify it to the interviewer?

Dear Shan, try to talk to your employer and see if they can give you that break of 3 months without any pay and then you can resume back; employees with some personal emergencies do take such short breaks.
If they are not allowing, its ok, you can still leave the company, but make sure that you are confident enough of getting the job afterwards.

Dear Naveen, what you need suggestion on? your question is not clear..
If you realised you can prepare UPSC with Job, then just appear for more interviews and there is no need to tell this to the Employer/HR, else no one will give you job.

I couldn't go out for work since I had a very toxic marriage life .I am a victim of domestic violence...(still I've some teaching experience during those days..).Now we are separated(not divorced yet.., divorce case is running). Also my family is not there to support me, since they can't agree with divorce.I wish to work in the electrical core again...

Like how you have replied in this comment, very simple, just tell that you were preparing for JEE, I have mentioned the same in video as well. Recruiters know that students in india take drop to prepare for various exams.. its totally normal
