I am currently working on the 5 dollar challenge again. I saved my 5 dollar bills last year and yes it does add up. I am also doing the 12 dollar challenge where i just save 12 dollars every month.
My thing was putting 1 year of pymts for each house bill (gas,water,electric,trash pick-up, internet, car insurance, and house insurance) I have 6 mths before I need to do it again. I needed to do this for health issues no more worries "if I paid that bill"!
A savings one for weddings/buying a house/ maybe a brand new car also for those that arenot ready or interested in the formertwo. (those really big ticket iteams maybe rollingall 3 into one savings systemthat would be absolutely awesome) please that would help alot of people out I feel. Thankyou for your wonderful channel, I only came across it today. However I am hooked ❤💞❤
I like all these savings challenges. You can also do the $1 savings challenge. That is a little less intense than the $5 challenge, and I personally do it. What do you do with the money you save? I use mine to increase my emergency fund.
I definitely am going to do 52 Week Challenge in reverse for 2022. Do you have any ideas for monthly challenges (theme based)? Also a seasonal challenge as well...for example- Winter Weather Wednesdays- what ever the lowest or highest temp is on Wednesdays put that amount in savings for the winter months. I need ideas for the other three seasons...any thoughts???

I Melissa, I looked into shipping it and it looks like it would be about $40 USD in shipping alone. In the US we have office supply stores that you can upload PDFs for them to print and mail to you. Do you have anything like that in the Netherlands?

Save your change . And if you need to use it and you got money left keep saving some of it. In the long run you probably may use the whole thing but at least you won't run out of money so quickly. I personally. Started doing the 5 dollar one and in afew months had saved 300 dollars and I felt a sort of acomplishment. Because it lasted until the day I got my first paycheck after a year out due to you know what. Happy saving.

I do the 52 week Challenge from October to the following October for Christmas every year so don't worry about not having money for Christmas.

One month ahead challenge is a great idea

I get paid every two weeks so I do one of the highest ones and one of the low each paycheck it works out to $53 a payday.

I guess for me, I'd modify the 52 week challenge by adding $100.00 each week until the 52nd week. This will save up to $5200.00

I do round ups it’s the easiest for me
That's awesome!! As you increase your savings you can change it to round up to the next $5 or $10 rather than next dollar!
