For the record: If you dig one hole next to each pipe's connecting machines and click on the hole ground then attach the pipes to its connecting machines, the pipes all vanish underground. If already placed the pipe, you would need to re-do the connections as those pipes would still be aboveground. You do know you can also just make water/steam storage tanks to extend distance? (if is wonderful when you auto market stuff you manufacture for immediate selling like ale barrels. You can stop using blacksmiths mostly when you can auto produce these components or goods with belts/mine carts steam automation. But don't sell components; sell finished goods!) 30:00 Build stairs+ using Stone *not* wood now! *DIG DEEP AND HOLD!* 30:45 enemy spawn item Minecarts work like trains and you send them from station to station choosing what items//craft goods to import and export. or just send all to/from one or both directions what you belt to/from. The goal in the beginning is you have one central production area and minecart raw/finished materials to that one area to refine/auto-sell.
Thanks for the tip! I'm planning on redoing the steam piping at some point. I was thinking of setting up a central location to bring in all the materials and setting up a main factory. Once I get a few more autocrafters setup, I will no longer need to use the blacksmiths! Though I feel bad for firing them 😅.
@johnnytrekgaming think of it as being a self-reliant dwarf. You can always keep one or two, but you no longer need an "assembly line" of them when you start doing Auto crafting!
Liked the video, this my new favorite game. Just one thing to comment on, you mentioned the nodes of random ores that are buried in the rock. I also find that somewhat annoying when it "refreshes" in an area I have cleared, and suddenly there's just a jumble of random stones sticking up in the air. However, if there's an area you want to clear of that, building pretty much anything right where the node is guarantees it won't come back, same thing with the rocks.
I just about had an aneurism watching you open the minecart station, talking about how to make a minecart, closing it, opening it again... And not seeing that button for so long....

Good to know! I hope them respawning is a bug.

It's not my fault they made the button so big and visible that I didn't see it!
@@johnnytrekgaming My dad had a saying he used to use on me while I was growing up. 'If it was a snake it would have bit you'
I really like watching you play this ❤
It's been a great game so far!
