Thank you for this informative KIA EV6 winter driving video. If possible, I would like to see more videos about the EV6 operations and efficiency in winter conditions. The EV6 is right now, over the next few weeks, starting to appear in the US market, so you will have many US buyers interested in this topic. My EV6 "Wind" AWD model should be delivered in 2 weeks. I have a question about winter driving with the cabin heat on. You appear to have turned off the cabin heat (with the air conditioning on to keep the windows defogged). Can you comment about efficiency if the cabin heat is set to a comfortable temperature? Thank you for your help and great video!
Great car. The features on the car are surpeb, especially that unique features when you put on the indicator you can see the blind spot on your cockpit. That feature is find on Kia and Hyundai
Excellent video, I'm Canadian and wanting to buy this car so I been specifically looking for winter driving videos of the EV6. I seen mention that this car has Snow Mode for driving is that exclusive to the all wheel drive model or do you have that on your rear wheel drive model as well? I really want to know more about snow mode, what is does and it's benefits? I'm subbing to your channel for more winter focused videos hehe! 😀
Many thanks for watching the video and for subscribing to the channel! Actually I am sorry I can‘t remember a snow mode in the (RWD) test car, but this doesn‘t mean that it does not have one.
My RWD EV6 has snow mode, but we don’t get much snow in Ireland so cannot say if it’s any good. Just hold mode button for a few seconds to activate it.
@@Bebela1ms this is Canada, a Tier 2 country in the eyes of Kia. Waiting over a year is common even for the GT Line models, which, according to my reading, seems to be the only models they’re sending here.
On an EV6 and IONIQ 5 the battery size maximum is 77kw, the IONIQ 5 did have a smaller 72kw battery but it is now offered with the larger 77kw, so please be more accurate with your info.
Great review!
Thanks a lot for all the effort in such a cold environment… 🥶

Many thanks for watching the video.
Super interesting - thanks for this review!
It's being reported on the EV6 significant less range on a full charge in cold weather.
240 kw charging speed is under optimal conditions at summer, at winter about the half of it

I have placed an order for a RWD long range, and I am very curious to know about handling on snow covered and icy conditions.
How did it go? Did you get the rwd?
@@Bebela1ms hahaha, 15 months, still waiting.
@@markbader4942 no way. 😳 that’s impossible. Have you tried with another dealership? I see some available online 😥

Hello, did you notice any issue with the fact that this model has no rear window wiper on dirty road condition?
Thank you for watching the video. I didn‘t consider this as a problem.
Was your car in winter mode? This is suppose to warm up the battery while driving.
Hello, yes it was.
It does not work yet.Hyundai an KIA i promising fix later this year.
@@pebber1967 you get the software update for pre-conditioning since October last year.
So how many km with full charge
Good review, but does this car have a heat pump ?
Yes, this is an optional feature.
How effective to drive in cold weather with Heather ON. Battery drain quickly?
In my Wind awd heater drains but is very effective, enabling lower use.....Also there is an additional setting for Economy Temp control.
What is the range with 100% battery in winter?
I achieved approx 350 km.
Where is the solar roof?
2:20 20kWh /100km energy consumption at speed 130km/h ? Fake No way , I have tested twice GT line AWD and it was 24-26kWh depend on wind direction
How is the driving with the rear window without wiper in winter? Do you have to clean the window often? It’s a deal breaker for me with the Ioniq5.

Here in Germany and many other markets, Hyundai did not yet increase the battery size, hence I was accurate. Where are you from?
