How We Won Taylor Swift Tickets!!! Day 3 Japan Adventure

Finally, at long last we are watching Taylor Swift! This is Day 3 of our trip and day 2 of the Eras Tour in Tokyo. If you had told us we'd be here, we would not have believed it! It's been a long time coming... And we didn't think we'd get tickets. When ticket sales went public in June last year, we tried our luck for Melbourne, Sydney, and Singapore. Tokyo was the last destination we had in mind since the process seemed tedious while Jonessa and I have never held any Japanese visas in the past. But after feeling down on our luck, we decided to try out the Tokyo lottery system by Lawson, which was the different from the queueing system in the other countries. We entered the section of the tickets our choice, entered our credit card details, and waited for the draw date. Lo and behold, Jonessa received an email from Lawson on the draw date that we'd actually won! I don't think either of us have won anything so big. Sure it wasn't free, but with the odds, we felt like the Universe finally smiled on us. But even then, we could not apply for a visa until December, several weeks before our intended schedule since those are Japan's rules. So all that time from July when we won up to January was a time of suspense. We were hopeful but realistic about the possibility of our visa application being denied. We didn't even buy our plane tickets until our passports came back. So this trip was again a long time coming... And thank you Taylor, we had the time of our life fighting dragons with you.
