    Thank you so much Alex. I’m already 62 and only learning 气功 just now because of many health issues. I’ve been doing this for barely a month. Surprisingly, I’m getting good results. 真的希望气功能让我恢复适合我这个年岁阶段的力气。而且也能让我减轻一些常年时期所带来的身体疼痛。by the way, Do you have a specific qigong exercise routine to gradually reduce and heal impingement of my right shoulder? I hope for your attention to this question of mine. 非常感谢你这些视频。我觉得很有效能!Thank you for sharing this qiqong techniques, it’s such a wonderful health routine! 加油加油!

    Would also love a video with some qigong exercises for the liver and gallbladder, similar to the video for boosting the kidneys. Many thanks!🎉

    Hi Dr. Alex. Thank You for this qigong exercises, this really helps a lot. I just have a question on the breathing timing of when moving the hands up/down with body side to side. I am not sure where to inhale or exhale. Thank You.

      I think almost always if you are moving up you breathe in. If you are moving down you breathe out

    Good instruction that ties moves to theory. Where should the mind be when doing these moves in this form?

    • @DrAlexHui
      @DrAlexHui  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for your comment! 1) When you are lifting your arms and breathing in, just relax and think nothing. 2) When you are breathing out and “clawing” your hands down, mind should be grasping your claws tight. Increase the tightness as your hands go down and the tension reaches maximum when the hand stops. 3) When doing the left and right Yin Yang, imagine the Qi goes downwards to avoid overflow of Qi in the head which could cause headache.
      Hope this helps!

    Is there a variation where people switch arms (one to the front and one to the back)? I believe its called, "Tiger Climbs Mountain".. are you familiar with this form?

    • @DrAlexHui
      @DrAlexHui  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello Gabe, thanks for the question.
      There are many versions of the Five Animals Qi Gong. I don't believe my version has the exact move you were referring to.
      However, I have just done one move for each animal at this point. (There are 4-5 moves for each animal) In the future, I would love to do more videos on this set of QI Gong.

    Hi Alex, 我有練鬆靜混元氣功。與5 animals qi gong 有没有衝突?可否兩者同時練?Appreciate your advice.

    • @DrAlexHui
      @DrAlexHui  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ming, 沒有衝突的,五禽戲是比較溫和的動氣功,可以配合別的功法。

    Hi Alex, could you please help me with breathing during tre relaxing part of excersising? I am totally lost st this part 😒. Thank you in advance 🌞

    • @DrAlexHui
      @DrAlexHui  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Ivula, basically when you lift your arms, you breath-in; and when you lower it, you breath-out.
      When you breath-out, you imagine all the Qi goes to the side where your arms are lowered.
      Not sure if you have seen the introductory video before this one, if you haven't, you might want to check it out. Hope this helps!

    Will this form heal fatty liver non alcoholic?

    • @DrAlexHui

      Hi. This can be a supplementary exercise that is helpful. But for NAFLD without any symptoms, it is best to have overall lifestyle change such as diet, exercise and rest.

    I always thought that tiger was supposed to round and stretch the lower spine (like a tiger ready to catch its prey)

    • @joe_4344
      @joe_4344 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it's straight spine for Tiger., Although it does flex somewhat while raising the hands before 'pouncing'. Deer 2 has the rounding of the spine.

    why should we imitate the animals, we are not made like them, indeed we are complety different. sounds absurd to me?
