- To grind the new G91 R/3 you have multiple optuions in the german premium plane line but only 1 is the real grinding machine. Despite its rough handling, the Fw 190 D-13 is still the best at it!

I've grinded 90% of the Germans with the D-13. Is it perfect? No. Is it the best? Not really. But it doesn't have to be because it is more than capable and she's still something to fear.
And it is premium.
its roll rate is whats good, im able to roll get shots off dodge away shoot again and roll away on headons, all at low alt. Other fighters that try to do that cant u can get some impressive high deflection shots with its rolling capabilities

@@l_pr762 ummm... it WAS the preferred plane for the vast majority of Luftwaffe pilots...the only reason you see a lot of big number aces flying the Bf-109 is because that plane was "better" at maneuvering and arguably better in the hands of a skilled pilot...but the Fw-190s were the bane of allied pilots there's a reason the British rushed the Mark IXs into service as it was the only spitfire that could take on an Fw190 on a LEVEL playing field [of course this is war if you fight fair you're dumb]...

@@threadworm437 the FW190 is a F150 pickup truck vs the Mustang [Bf109]...more powerful in the vertical [maybe] but not laterally...also unlike the Bf109 the Fw190 is designed to be easily flown by newer pilots, so takes less skill [not a diss] to get good in...
One area that the 190>109 is in roll rate it had the fastest roll rate of ANY fighter [D9] until the introduction of the F-16A...in theory you could use said roll rate and garner better results but in practice the Bf109 in the hands of a skilled pilot was deadlier...I love both but indo prefer the Fw190 over the Bf109...I think it's the superior platform but I will not try to say it's the best fighter Germany produced during the war...it wasn't...but it WAS the best FRONTLINE fighter bar none in the hands of many pilots but CERTAIN pilots could do better in the 109...

@@threadworm437 it's not just that...it was also Dür Furhers favorite plane...Willy Messerschmitt was a very political person and he absolutely exemplified nazi superman...but HIS PLANE was good...it was the best fighter [by kills] of the luftwaffe but it had its limitations including the lack of good quality fuel which the Fw190 took into account...the only Fw190 variant that suffered was the Dora series with their inline engines...but put the same pilot in both planes and 7/10 times the Fw wins hands down especially in the west.

Technically, when this was on the drawing board a 1000kg bomb was added since in the end stages of the war the FW190 line was given bombs for motherland defense. Please make this happen Gaijin.

Hell, even the regular tech tree D9 usually nets me around 40k SL after a decent match, and I'm a F2P user. Doras are absolute beasts when played right

Imo the ju 288 is the best grinder. Probably because I suck at fighters.

Probably one of the handful of premium with a repair price equally annoying as some of the more stupid TT vehicles
It's really worth it learning how to fly with fighters, they can give you a huge advantage in ground rb.

Man you make it so easy, when I pick D13 it's Berlin against Russian all days and my team got cloud raped or just go bomber lemming than become yak food.
Not sure if the d-13 is the best one, but it is closely folowed by both 190 a-5 or 190 f-8. Grinded all the way to the mig 15 using those 2. They are also really cheap, started grinding the german tree with less than 1kk and now I have about 10kk sl.
Silver lion grinding meta is 4x me264 squad with battle victory wagers change my mind

Best premium aircraft, tier per tier, in the entire game. Ridiculous energy retention, amazing WEP, very efficient cooling system, climbs like a monster. Also, side note: As soon as you get behind a B-17, or any other American bombers, you need to be immediately disengaging. If you have a bad angle, just disengage and pray you don’t get pilot sniped.
I would say 5 eazy kills but still an ace.
I regularly outplay jets that have lost speed or think they are safe in a straight line run when I bring this to higher tier tank rb... love the cannons placement this is one of the best 800m+ snipers
Napalm, if you haven't tried it yet, you should really devote some time with the new Re.2005. The plane is an absolute beast when spaded, and even stock it holds it own.

@@GrosseSose Depending on the model of Spitfire, the Re.2005 is at a very slight disadvantage in raw turning ability. It has MUCH better roll rate than any of them though, and I've easily been able to outmaneuver even Mk V Spits thanks to that. I've even been able to hold my own against Zeros in dogfights thanks to the much superior roll rate. The best advice I can give with it is "keep it slow". The sweet spot for maneuverability seems to be in the 300 - 400kph range.
@@marinetech262 At altitude and higher speed (>500km/h) I had no difficulties outturning Spits (4.7 - 5.7, never faced Griffon Spits tho, and never got really downtiered). I never tried to turn with them at lower speeds or alt(and never had to).
I Never had problems even when uptiered, such a great plane :)
I love farming Re.2005s try-out squads in my P47 D28 :D
a bad p51h pilot will easily beat D13
a normal p51h pilot easily wins from normal D13 pilot
only a good D13 pilot stands a chance and only if it isn't against a good p51 pilot.
Not to mention the axis have to face full team 6.3 allied with their 5.3 'OP' planes
P-51H is really annoying overall. When I'm flying a Dora, they always seem to be competent, but whenever I fly allied they always just die straight away.

@@lukearroyo-clark9601 it's not that bad facing jets in any super-prop you have all the advantages minus speed (which actually you also have at sea level)...add to that most early jet players dont understand energy retention [unless they're coming from Germany]...
Yeah, I grinded out my Mig15bis and Me262 with my D-13. If you know what you are doing it is really good. I play war thunder periodically so I need to readjust to playing fighters every time, get my skill back. So I tend to have mixed results with it for a short period. Now I am trying to get MiG 19...yeah, maybe this year ^^
Techpriest I got the mig 19s this patch and the new g91 with a spaded Horton 229, ju288 and d13 keep in mind begging of this patch I started at ta152 H and I hadn’t bought it I had to grind a lot of silver lions. And I work a lot of hours I’m in the marines so I can’t play as much as I’d like to

This was the beat premium plane for grinding before greedy gaijin made tier 6 to sell more premiums.
IMO the elevator is fine, you just have to mind your speed. And even at low speeds you can always pop flaps, they won‘t rip until about 450 kph

I just got this plane and I'm watching your videos to learn something. Anyway I'm loosing badly with fw 109 d13. My win ratio is a disaster. In only one game I won the first place, hero of the sky, last man standing, etc.. I was left alone with four enemy spitfire f mostly and one AN..
I could win only by playing defensive and boring, otherwise not a chance. The reward was huge tho..!

It's always a problem with vehicles that are harder to play than others and only a veteran might be able to make it good or even better than others.
For example the German Panthers never had great win rates or K/D ratios compared to similiar allied tanks which is mostly related to the lower ammount of explosive filler, poor reverse speed and weaker side armor. For a good player the Panther can be an incredible powerfull tank but new players often make mistakes or lack the skill and knowledge to make the vehicle perform to it's full potential.

I got mine when the k4 was my top plane. That same night, i researched the 163 and mig 15. Fun af to fly and rewards handsomely. Requires some patience and skill tho

In ec heli, tigres french possible destroy so many helico. Mistral gain buff by one patch, and he ignore ircm. Flares is good counter for that.
In Tank rb, is not bad, and i have one time destroy 3 heli and 4 tank with premium tigre. Very rare moment but camera in replay stay bug... Oof
Tigre have the thermal camera and german not use same ammo type by french tigre. The german are no 30mm, but have gun pods option and high camera... i dont know is better compare french because im player focus on french stuff.
But french tigre have 1 tigre premium in 10.0... So many player say pay to win. Yes... 400k 2 or 3 time im get.
Is my first impressions with the tigres. Gameplay stay low altitude, thermal camera, hot 3 / hellfire / rockets for ground and mistral for air.

If you want amazing energy retention, firepower, dive characteristics, roll rate and high altitude performance, yes.
Although the D-12 is pretty much the same thing but sacrifices a bit of performance for a 30mm MK108.

If it's PREMIUM, it's basically "pay to win" or "hit the non-existent jackpot or nothing", therefore, it's no grind, it never was, never will be. So when you say PREMIUM the very be(a)st for grinding machine, I don't know what you talking about, I heard you. There's a reason why grind is called grind.
well... you use it to unlock other vehicles, cause it gives you more rewards... that's what he meant about grindind

Man... Any higher and it will only face supercharged props, turboprops and early Jet designs.....
For a plane with an engine that started in Tier II 3.7 and took only moderate amount of upgrades in engine and weapon distribution....
Learn to fly a german plane to understand the issues.....
The only thing is mostly probably the issue is the "Premium Bias" in Aircraft (you know, terrible aim but the ahots still connected somehow)
