Still no fix, unfortunately. Brand new motherboard with bluetooth capability. Nothing is working. The controller works fine when connected via usb but will not show on a list of devices for the pc.
Quick question: I have no issue getting my dual sense edge to connect via bluetooth. It shows up in the menu, and the light bar is blue. The issue is, the controller does not work for anything. If I open up the playstation accessory app, it won't be listed. If I boot up a game, it wont be listed. If I open DS4windows, it won't be listed. Once I plug in the controller it then shows up on DS4 windows and can be used. So how do I actually get the controller to work on bluetooth? It connects and shows it is there, but then it is nothing more than a paper weight. Am I missing something?
In services - Setting Bluetooth Support Services to automatic did it for me, it was disabled. I usually disable everything that clutters my windows, make the PC more responsive and Bluetooth services were purged by mistake.
I just thought I'd drop in to say deleting it from my PS5 seemed to do the trick. After that it showed under "mouse, keyboard, pen" but wasn't connecting or showing as a new device to connect, so once I removed it from there, it was able to be added again as a new device.

Controller is connected but it doesnt do anything and none of the inputs reflect on my PC.
I recently switched from consoles to PC (FINALLY) and I'm starting to run into problems I don't yet know how to fix. First things first, I can't quite let go of the controller, I like using them. Also, my daughter can only play using a controller. We've completed two games already with the dualsense controllers (two of them) perfectly working simultaneously via bluetooth. Out of the blue, now they don't work properly. It seems like the signal is too weak, we used to be able play from under the blankets but nowadays if I am further away from the PC than 2 meters and not turning the controller directly towards the PC the controller starts lagging, missing inputs and finally turns off. Literally, if I break the line of sight between the PC and the controller, it doesn't work anymore. This has never happened with the PS5 (with the console, the controllers are still working flawlessly) and for 2 months, the PC didn't have a problem with this either. I've tried looking for solutions using google, even chatgpt but nothing has helped. I checked the drivers but windows says they are up to date. It could be bluetooth signal interference but we haven't installed anything new to the room, no furniture, no new systems, nothing. I've reset the controllers but as I said, they work flawlessly with the playstation. Can you help us, please? Thank you in advance for your answers!
Hey @@Kojin01 ! Sorry to hear you are having issues! It does sound like a Bluetooth range or interference issue. Is your Bluetooth integrated into your pc or added with a Bluetooth USB adapter?
@LovingTechLife it is integrated. I just ordered today an adapter to see if it's working better with that or not. The PC is 2 months old, it shouldn't degrade this fast
@ no it wouldn’t have degraded itself, but it could be something else that you have interfering with it. For example Wi-Fi is on the same spectrum so other Bluetooth devices or Wi-Fi can mess with Bluetooth causing new issues. getting an external USB adapter should help and also be mindful of not putting it in the back of the PC if you have any USB port on the front, do that or even get a USB extender cable to put the USB as you within reason.
if i use a cord, it works, but Bluetooth will NOT detect it even in pairing mode and i followed all steps above. I went to best buy and bought the controller specifically for bluetooth purposes. The device is detected by my phone, but not the PC

I have the same issues on my MSI laptop. I can play steam games with my Xbox controller, but the PS5 controller only connects and does nothing. Anything I have tried does not work. very frustrating

As whenever i use to connect my ps4 controller to pc a device named wireless controller appear then i connect it but now when i switch on and try to connect my controller to pc instead of wireless controller xbox wireless controller device named is appearing
these didnt work for me but I found another fix: if ur controller wont be on the bluetooth page u have to revert ur bluetooth version and it works (for me atleast It did) but still thanks :D

lol because ds4 windows is for ps4 controller ps5 controllers need different emulators
