Mother: Cognitive Dissonance - PARADOX 3 (MEGALOVANIA Remix) (Mother's Day 2023)

Due to the unexpected popularity of Earthbound in the west (mostly due to its stellar marketing), it got itself a prequel bridging the gap between the Japan only 'Earthbound Beginnings/MOTHER' in 1998. 'Earthbound: Cognitive Dissonance', as it’s known in the west, was a very unique game and quite the cutting-edge piece of technology for the time. The game cartridge, much like many other SNES classics such as 'Star Fox', contains extra hardware inside made specifically for the game. But instead of the Super FX Chip, which allowed the game to render simple 3d polygons, it contains another Soundcard called the 'Super SFX' Chip which allows the game to include some of the most complex music for the SNES. Due to the relatively late release of the game, no other Super Nintendo game includes the chip.
Maybe the guitar riffs are made using a very clever technique, like storing a single compact sample and pitching and stretching different parts of it for different parts of the song, or maybe this is just how it sounded to us back in the 90s, hell if I know. I guess no one can say for sure.

I wish somehow you could combined the melody and concepts of this to the bass, sound and overal feeling of the last one somehow...
