Hands down my favorite knitting podcast! Your content, delivery, story telling and thoughtful teachings are such a bright light. Thank you for providing such a gracious gift to the knitting community.
You're wonderful. I'm just enjoying all the episodes. I have an 8 year old and they're a ton of work, haha, so I admire you're perspective on teaching and the kids. Summer Lee's book is epic! Best book for 2024 if you ask me. All the best, Kimberly
love love this! Inspired me to finish up my sock projects! Our daughter went to UMKC to law school in KC !! Fabulous city! we’re from nebraska!! I have visited Yarn Social.. love those ladies…. So will you become Chiefs fans? Or loyalty Vikings 🏈😂😂
I joined summer lee’s colorwork cuff club. One basic pattern and a colorwork pattern drops once each month for 12 months. I joined hoping it would motivate to knit a pair each month.
Another great podcast Kristen thanks. Yet to dive into the sock knitting world....presently a garment girl ha. Glad your transition back to work wasn't too bad. Love your favourite socks you showed. Need myself a pair of those 🥰
Hi Kristen, so funny I love Pete the cat and read all the books to my kindergarten children. I also crocheted Pete from a pattern I found on Pinterest. I put the four groove buttons on his jacket with Velcro. Such a useful learning tool in the class and the children love him too 😊 Love all the socks BTW
GASP!!! Those mittens. Stunning. I have to laugh at how similar we are with our knitting. I too, had plans to knit a pair of socks every month this year, but lost it after April. Definitely plan to get back to it this month. In a perfect world I will knit my way through Summer’s book. Your Ingrid is beautiful. My Ingrid is also an FO, and I am in love. I knit mine with The Wandering Flock Fingering (cotton, mulberry silk, linen, and baby alpaca. I highly recommend this base. Thanks for a great episode. :)
Kristen, my bestie, I was in yarn social last weekend!!! I was on my way to Topeka for a dog trial and I always try to stop at yarn stores along the way! I loved it!!! Bought all the yarn to start the Stornoway Sweater very soon! The ladies were very helpful. Now I’m about to order the Sock Project! Thanks for the tips 😊
My sock knitting ia making zipper and other knitted pouches. When I don't have one on the needles, I dream and plan my next one! We do wear socks on New Zealand but the area I live we don't have really cold winters...
