Thank you for rescuing animals. I feel so badly for people who couldn’t get back into their homes to save their pets. Please take care of yourself, too. You are very good man.
🌟 **A Call for Accountability: Questioning the Recent Wildfires** 🌟 I’ve been reflecting on the recent devastating wildfires in California, particularly the massive fire in Los Angeles, and I can’t help but feel uneasy about the circumstances surrounding these incidents. Here’s why I believe we need to consider the possibility that a firefighter could be involved in setting these fires 1️⃣ **Timing of Budget Cuts**: In 2020, California faced significant budget deficits due to the pandemic, leading to discussions about laying off firefighters. Coincidentally, major wildfires erupted during this time, prompting a reevaluation of those layoff plans. Now, just a month before the recent catastrophic fire, Los Angeles cut the fire department’s budget. It seems suspicious that every time there are talks of layoffs, a major fire follows 2️⃣ **Defensive Reactions**: Recently, after a famous actor suggested that the Los Angeles fire could be arson, a firefighter responded defensively, questioning the actor and demanding proof. Why the defensiveness, especially when the investigation is ongoing? It raises serious questions about the motivations behind such reactions 3️⃣ **Union Dynamics**: Firefighters are part of a powerful union, much like police officers. When the same group responsible for fighting fires is also conducting investigations, it creates potential conflicts of interest. How can we trust that these investigations will be impartial 4️⃣ **Motive and Opportunity**: With job security on the line, it’s conceivable that some individuals might feel desperate enough to consider unethical actions to protect their livelihoods. The coincidence of major fires and budget discussions is troubling and cannot be ignored While I fully respect and appreciate the hard work of the vast majority of firefighters, these patterns raise serious concerns. We owe it to our communities to demand thorough and transparent investigations into these incidents. It’s time to hold everyone accountable, regardless of their profession.
I went to New Orleans right after Katrina and you can bet we sure did defy the officials and went into the evacuated city and broke down the door of every house to rescue animals! The dog pictured as my avatar was one of my rescues. He was burried in mud. I adopted him when his owners could not be found. He lived until 2020
What a good man. Tearing up when talking about the two cats were trapped, i completely understand. I could never leave my cat and if i was gone, idk how i would react not being able to get back.
Thank you William Mc.! For caring and seeing a need to get the animals to safety. People are so attached to their pets. It is important to "continue life." Be careful doing this, but thanks a million! You are a good man.
William, you’re a great person you care so much about animals and how this horrible fire terrified has affected their lives. God Bless and protect all animals. They have no fault in this didn’t ask for this. God protect them all 🙏
God bless you, William. I am an animal rights activist and vegan. You are the only person I heard so far worried and trying to help the animals. The animals are innocent beings and like a baby who cannot understand what is happening.
Watching William crying made me cry too! A hero without cape saving Angels without wings. May Life bless you forever, and I hope the 2 cats are safe and protected somewhere.
Respect! Thank goodness for William and the other compassionate and brave people saving lives when the firefighters are too busy. I still think of all the pet-owners who refused to be evacuated and leave their beloved animals to die alone in Hurricane Katrina, and died together. And it's so hard to think of all the wild creatures that died.
I wonder if the two cats he had the address for were rescued. It's been about 4 days now, many animals have been picked up. What a brave man. So many stories of bravery coming out.
This is one, I’m sure, of thousands good, compassionate, kind, people stepping up waiting for you to ask them for their help. oh God be with you all risking your life to help others in such a time of inexplicably desperate need.
I have 11 cats. I'm determined to stay with them whatever disaster happens. I know I can't evacuate with all of them in five or 10 minutes. So when the earthquake comes, you'll find me at my house. Bless you 😭😭😭💗💗💗💗💗
I wish him health and happiness in every lifetime… This man is a true human. Thank you Sir …if you read this… you are the light and the energy this world needs. ✨✨✨✨✨🙏🏼. Thank you for saving the most vulnerable and the most innocent and in reality…the biggest victims.
Huge respect for Mr. McNamara, and for anyone competently arranging these rescues. I hope he's got someone with him, because during this interview he displayed what could be some symptoms of being shell-shocked.
I hope you don't think breaking down for a moment about not being to save those cats is unmanly. I really respect him for caring and being emotionally healthy enough to be a male who has feelings. But maybe that's not what you meant. Anyway, it does seem like a stressful and heartwrenching mission for the people helping animals when all government resources have to go towards helping people.
@@a.w.thompson4001 Hi. No, I was being sincere, and indeed worried. I have seen people who'd been shell-shocked, and it looked quite similar. It's an acute PTSD reaction, and this situation more than qualifies as a cause. I didn't mean this one moment alone. And I don't think breaking down over something traumatic is 'unmanly', not in any case.
