    I have been watching your story off and on all day. Our story has a lot of similarities. I am 60 years old tho and was a stage 2. I am approved for my reversal, just waiting for the authorization to come thru. I was confirmed after a colonoscopy in July 2021. I started radiation and chemo pill form in Sept. My stoma surgery was Feb 3rd and have been cleared as cancer free after the pathology reports came back. Your videos have answered a lot of questions and concerns that I have been having. You are a very special lady and inspirational to many as I see your comments. Thank you.

    Such an inspiration , I was diagnosed stage 3 crc. Just did 2nd round of chemo and on 2150 mgs of capicedibine (misspelled) in the morning and again at night. Not sure how many rounds of chemo to go, but radiation then surgery. Mine to was real close to Back side, to close for surgery right away. Hopefully all this chemo and radiation helps shrink up the cancer. 🙏🏻 checking out your other vids for info. Hang in there..🙏🏻🙏🏻

      I had to do the nasty liquid stuff and I have been traumatized by it. I need another one done but I will not be able to get that stuff to my lips even. Most Dr won't do the pills but I will need the pills or I won't be able to drink it. It's been many years since I had one. To this day I can not drink Lemonade of any kind because when I did that liquid prep I put lemonade crystal light in it and that didn't even help LOL.. anyways I am so happy you got the pills and you did great and got great results. You have been through so much at a young age but you handled it like a champ. Congrats on your classes too. And I'm 56 next month. I can't imagine have cancer at the age you did.. Hey Vanessa im so happy to see you doing so well I followed your journey maybe half way because I started searching up colon cancer, my brother was diagnosed with stage 3 too in 2021 and is currently still fighting but seeing your story brings me so much joy that God can make miracles happen. I was hoping you could answer a few question did you go to a specialized cancer hospital? Did you have your appendix removed ? If you did how old where you, im asking because i came across this information on google about how having your appendix removed, can make your chances higher of having colon cancer and, well my brother had his removed 10 years ago so i was just wondering, plus the colon cancer in my brother isnt genetic no one in our family has ever had it he's the 1st one if you could answer that it would be amazing and very appreciated have a great day and God bless🙏🙏💙💞💗

    • @carmenx3m
      @carmenx3m 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      And if anyone with colon cancer can reply to my comment regarding having the appendix removed years prior to being diagnosed that would be amazing , i want to bring awareness to this because colon cancer is increasing in young adults and if there was a way to bring awareness about the correlation between the two maybe people could catch it way sooner, to have higher chances to beating it.

    • @VanessaLPZ1
      @VanessaLPZ1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m so sorry for your brother being diagnosed. I hope you guys get through this and come out on top.
      I received treatment at a cancer center with specialists. I had my spleen, gallbladder and appendix removed when I was about 3 years old due to my blood disorder.
      Mine wasn’t genetic either but cancer does run high in my family

      @@VanessaLPZ1 thank you so much for replying i really appreciate it, you are a very very very strong warrior, so inspirational, may God continue to give you health and many more years of life. We are God willing changing my brother to a specialized hospital only because his insurance before wasnt accepted but thank God we were able to get the insurance that got accepted at the specialized hospital now so God willing he will beat this cancer. We are all holding on to our faith in God, and pray he will beat this too.
      Im bringing awareness about colon cancer not only for this month becuase its colon cancer awareness month, but in honor of my brother and of all that had it , all those that are still fighting and all those that are probably scared and have symptoms but dont want to find out they have it, becuase its better to find it early in stage then late. I love the surgeon that I had for my first colonoscopy. He said that I could eat a regular meal the night before. The next morning, I got up early and drank that nasty $hit. He told me that he does it that way because it's the best way to get yourself cleaned out. 🤷‍♀️ I wasn't going to complain. 😆 My colonoscopy went well, no polyps found. I was in my early 40's when I had it done. I'm 58 now and have since had a colonoscopy where I had to be on clear liquids the day before. I'm an advocate for my first colonoscopy procedure! lol

    Colonoscopy I hate this. My dad started bleeding after he drank colon prep solutions and that day bleeding started and it didn’t stop and he has to undergo high risk sigmoid colectomy surgery to stop that bleeding but sepsis slowly started spreading like it ……didn’t show up in any blood culture reports….so colonoscopy can also be severely dangerous and can be life threatening (death)….my dad didn’t wake up one day (after 3 weeks of surgery) and he passed away in sleep 😔 cancer diagnosis can be very very risky and can lead to complications….

      Hey my brother is currently fighting colon cancer stage 3 and he too had his appendix removed 10 years ago, i recently made a "discovery" im only going by what i researched but you can also just google it, there has been studies that show people who had their appendix removed have had higher chances of getting colon cancer, i am not at all trying to bring fear , i want to bring awareness to this and if maybe i can help someone avoid getting to stage 3 or 4, look into it and definitely get checked dont let the doctors tell you, if you're young, that you're too young to have colon cancer , my brother got diagnosed at 33. Congratulations glad everything worked out great! I’m glad they switch to the pills because that liquid stuff smells like anti-freeze with gatorade. Lol I hated it😜

    I congratulate you on your good news, but it's odd that they are telling you to have your next Colonoscopy in 3 years. Everyone who had Colorectal cancer should have a colonoscopy every 5 years, and if everything goes well, every 3 years. Two of my family members had this type of cancer, one in NYC and another in NJ, but both doctors required annual examinations.

    Ok I have a question, I have never seen a colonoscopy prep like this. Is this because of your history?

      I guess it’s a new method because I didn’t even know about the suprep either.

      @@VanessaLPZ1 I see. I have one scheduled next month and I’m doing the miralax prep. But there was the big gallon prep and then there was an option for a pill, just 1. Man watching you take those 24 pills was so crazy!!

      @@VanessaLPZ1 Do they give you pills because of your previous Cancer,? I don't have cancer but the Dr wouldn't give me pills. The liquid one made me so sick I threw up and I couldn't finish the whole thing Now I'm.traumatized and have not brought myself to go back to get another I know I need.
