Legend KA7 in 6.4 seconds?? No way! I owned two Honda Legend KA7 and the fastest what I did was 0-100 in 7.8 seconds. Now I have a KB1 and 0-100 is in 6.7 sec (VSA off and manual shifting).

Honda and Toyota is mindblowing fuckin durable
because they're slow, less power = less engine stress = more efficiency, but also their enginering is more studied to last longer and not to break down quickly
@@rinorm7709 And what about Honda B16 or K20 engines? They have very high specific output and still durable.
@@barnabaskiss2888 for their material they are optimized and people are satisfied, if you chip tunning that one you'll see all the problem it would get, that's why people likes it when it's light fast and reliable, no critic over here

I had a 91 Acura Legend that thing was a beauty. I wanna get my hands on another one. Unfortunately they are pretty rare.
That early 90s legend must have been sprinting down hill because I can't make mine go faster than 7.5 seconds to 60mph, and it's got the stroked motor from the late 90s legend.
Owned a KA7 once. Yup. That car is a legend.
The JDM Honda Legend KB2 is 305hp, not 295hp as shown in this video.

its because legend is just a limousine, its made for comfort, 1st gen was lighter, it had smaller engine with the same hp and torque, so time was better. legends have 4 speed automatic gearbox that makes car slower, if these cars would have 6 speed then it would be -2 seconds to 60mph
its probably either running on a tune or sprinting downhill, i don't think its going to be that marginally faster.
You fluffed the gearchange in the MK3. It would bave gone 7 Sseconds or under to 100KPH.

I have a KB2 and its alot faster than that, maybe the driver is slow.
0-100 on a KB2 is around 6.7sec
Your KB2 has 6-speeds tranny maybe?
Exactly what I was thinking. I have a KB2 6-speed, and there is no way it is as slow to launch as the one in this clip was.
