Great and to the point review. I believe that hardtails are TOTALLY misunderstood and underestimated. Having owned many guitars for many years. My guitar of choice is a hardtail. Got a few Charvels (So Cal, Sam Dimas, etc, inc HH HT), and I think that a Charvel HH HT, is one of the most overlooked and awesome guitars 'period'. The natural look is brilliant, but not struck on the gold bling. That axe, with chrome bits, (to me) would be the ultimate.
Great playing as always. I didn't know the necks on the San Dimas and the SOCAL where not the same. I stayed away because of the thin neck on the SOCAL. I have yet to find a San Dimas near me...but when I do there could be another addition. Thanks Brett.
Just picked up a 2020 San Dimas Pro Mod HH FR Snow White, these are the greatest guitars! Absolutely in love with it, though I think mine has an alder body, rather than ash. Still sounds/feels great.

I really like Charvel, I have an 80's model 1A, absolutely beautiful Guitar, I bought the Floyd Rose version of the San Dimas, had the same problem with the frets, had a good setup done, Sensational instrument, Maple Neck with a beautiful radius on it 👍. the floyd versions are great too they come with the floyd 1000's which is basically the same as a german made floyd but made in korea (the important part being that they use the same quality metal)
Great video. Man. That pickup combo in a super strat. Love it. You mentioned neck thickness- my favorite neck thickness is a modern C strat style. I do like the wider radius though . Would this neck be comparable to a modern C ? Or is it thicker ? Thanks again.

I was eyeing these when they first came out, I still like them, nice features and good looking.

Love natural ash, never heard or seen many that are this light. Must be some real handpicking going for that ash.

I have a Surf Green.with maple neck and Floyd Rose trem. It is a screamer , great for rock and for people who like Strat style guitars . Nice video!

Bought the San Dimas pro mod in purple with ebony fingerboard, OMG what a guitar. absolute killer for the price ($1,300).
it bugs me that I want just about every thing you demo love the channel
I wanted the natural ash but I saw the same guitar on reverb in Metallic black for $600. Couldn’t pass it up.
I haven't heard that sone by Deep Purple "Burn" in a long time, this would be a good platform for it tone wise ;-)

I was just checking out the Floyd version of this guitar, but I've decided to chase after another Tele instead. maybe one day.. :)
Nice guitar however useless without a Floyd Rose for many shredders.
