Steam. Ivor Engine level crossing fiasco. Wallingford April 12.

Ivor the Engine meets Gareth the Gates?
We start at Cholsey station when Ivor arrives. We then go to the level crossing near Wallingford. Ivor arrives at 2:40 The gates go wrong at 3:59 ,3 cars "jump the lights"? I have to phone the signalman to get the traffic moving again at 5:10
This is the Bunk Line from Wallingford to Cholsey (Oxfordshire). Filmed 7th April 2012. Ivor is a green pannier tank engine.
Ivor the Engine is a British children's animation by Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin's Smallfilms company. It is a children's television series relating the adventures of a small green locomotive who lived in the "top left-hand corner of Wales" and worked for The Merioneth and Llantisilly Railway Traction Company Limited. His friends included Jones the Steam, Evans the Song and Dai Station, among many other characters.

I have a feeling that the Level Crossing reactivated because the train was going too slow and there is a set amount of time for the train to clear the activation treadle on the other side of the Level Crossing, by the looks of it, that set time should be extended, to prevent this from happening in the future

Is the crossing set on a timer from when the train activates the treadles? My thoughts are that maybe the train was too slow in getting to the crossing and thus set off the ones on the other side.
