Cholsey & Wallingford Railway

Cholsey & Wallingford Railway 150th anniversary celebrations on Sunday 24th July 2016. As part of the celebrations the line loaned pannier tank 6430 from the Llangollen Railway for the month of July. This was my first visit to what is affectionately known as the bunk line after apparently one of the locos left Cholsey without its train . A pleasant line running through 2.5 miles of lovely countryside. During my time spent at Wallingford station it seems they have some interesting plans to improve and develop the site mainly centered around the rebuilding of the recovered Maidenhead station canopy.
Additionally the last 3 minutes of the video are out the window shots of the departure from Wallingford and the arrival at Cholsey unfortunately the wind had picked up at this time, so apologies for the wind noise
