Unexpected giant spud harvest July 7th 2022 | Does nature know best?

My onions for want of a better word are CRAP this year, so I went up the allotment to dig them all up!
In the same row as the onions, the raised bed closest to the polytunnel were some rogue spuds. So I thought you're going too and up they came.
Surprise!!! some whoppers!!
Take a look see what you think, does nature indeed know best? all the fussing I've done and these have done WAY better!!

Nice bit of potatoes!! It will be a while for us year in central Oregon, USA before we have any potatoes.
