Our Jayco Whitehawk came with two large narrow sturdy plastic tubs under the dinette benches which we love. Tubs can be completely removed for packing and unpacking and makes accessing whatever we store there very easy. Prefer these removable tubs to long built-in drawers that slide out. The tubs can be accessed for longer than a minute vs. a sliding drawer that will block room traffic for as long as your working with it. I love these tubs and have been surprised that I’ve never seen them again in any RV we’ve looked at since. They’d be great in this model also.
@JoshtheRVNerd should make it an option. We have a 7 foot long nice dining table in our house that only gets used when we have people over. Which is rare. But we all appreciate you showing us everything you do. At least we'll be informed when we go to buy. Thank you for that.
I do like this layout. Love the shower size and the bathroom will be better when expanded. I would love for them to eliminate the dinette and put a fireplace there which could maybe lower the tv and still keep windows on that side.
Really nice setup but turn the dinette into bar seating and put the TV in a televator and gain a little more storage, otherwise it's really nice. Thanks for the walkthrough Uncle Josh 👍
Love it! This is definitely the more high end version of this floor plan! Love the open living space. The whisper air is nice and quiet! Nice door side window. The kitchen is ok.. not a lot of counter top space. Overall nice camper. Thank you!
I'm 6' 4" so the taller ceilings and regular length queen bed is awesome to see. This is almost perfect! The toe knocker slide is almost a deal killer though. Super excited to see a higher end trailer finally under 30 feet. This one is a real contender!
I think a reverse televader to come down from the cabninet would be very cool and make up high view and wold put right on boardwalk and parkplace. The cheaper option would be to get a mantle mount to lower the tv down for a better viewing position.
I like this model. Its really hard for height challenged people to get in and out of beds. A privacy curtain would be nice. Chuck the dinette and put the tv on a televator, add a fireplace and a lift up bar for a place to eat. That tv is way to high. Also, put brackets to hold up the cabinet door.
😁Great floor, love the colors. Love the water filter set up,Couch and dinette with good tv position, and 7’ ceiling…Perfect! A nice kitchen also. Man they almost nailed it. 😔 cable slides and tiny toilet space and no dual ac(south Florida here) not going to cool down in the summer. I know there are other manufacturers make the same modelish but Jayco did a great job in all other places.
Good job Rudy! I like this a lot! Would love to see a version where you lose the dinette, put the fridge next to the pantry, the TV on a televator (or a televunder?), and with the extra space, give us a larger couch 🛋 And honestly, with the dinette removed, you could probably go slideless!
They need to put a deeper slide in. We were in this floorplan that Springdale puts out and what a difference. You can actually recline and someone else can easily walk around you. The deep slide makes the floor space so much bigger. This would absolutely be a deal-breaker for this current Jayco floorplan. The TV is fine up high. Nice finishes but put in a deeper slide Jayco.
Needs larger bathroom for sure. All we ever used ours for was bed and bathroom. We were out and about sight seeing and eating out unless it rained. We used to have a 2004 Jayco Jay Flight loved that one but the roof started to leak and had to get rid of it. I definitely would love one like our 2004. We could tow it easily with our half ton and it was only 24 feet long with tandom wheels.
I like the tall ceiling! (It was nice to meet you at the Grand Rapids RV show!) I'm with those that say drop the dinette. There is not enough clothes hanging space, so they could add a wardrobe there and maybe a bar style eating space/desk instead. The storage under the bed should be full size with drawers. I also agree that the bathroom needs to be expanded just a bit. I showed the Mrs. some floor plans like this and she doesn't like the bed not being in a separate room, but it doesn't bother me. Overall, not light enough to be true half ton towable, but not large enough to have the necessary storage space. Kind of a "tweener". I'm glad they're trying, however!
How awesome would it be💥if Jayco offered a residential sofa “option” for the outdated 1950’s diner booth dinette, so 4 people would be able to comfortably sit across from each other and visit on a cold rainy day or night👍
I like Eagles and I like that they are upscaling a smaller trailer. I feel that’s really a missing segment. I’d rather see a breakfast bar instead of of the dinette. This wouldn’t be a floorplan I would choose tho as we prefer a separated bedroom. However, I like that this has been upscaled. I hope there are more Eagles made in the 26-30 ft range (without bunks).
Not a fan of the angled “closet” doors and drawers. I do like having two seating areas. Still not sure why builders don’t go with 2 burner stoves in these layouts to allow more counter space. Otherwise, nice job Rudy!
What I like about the power inlet at the rear rather than either side. Is that if you use that back hitch, which can probably hold around 300 pounds, a person could attach a custom lockbox with a battery genarator in it with the 50 amp cord being able to plug directly into the lockbox to Boondock with maybe around 24 hours of battery power, depending on how much a person runs the A/C. I would like to see all the manufacturers put at least 1,000 watts of solar power on the roof of all Travel Trailer's, RV's and 5th Wheels. Then change out the plain vinyl awnings for Solar awnings with additional wattage.
🎉 This is exceptional! Decent bed, good storage, I see that under bed storage and think LiFePo battery location! 😎 The shower looked small, but the measurements say 34” x 40” which is great! 👍🏽👍🏼
I would definitely prefer a pop up power tower in that corner of the kitchen instead of the plug above it... I was thinking that before you suggested it. It wouldn't even have to go all the way in the back, could be near the front edge for accessibility... it would be a great use of the space that the drawers can't use because of needing to avoid the slide trim when pulled out. Speaking of drawers, while I appreciate the work it took to make those diagonal fronts on the drawers around the bed, I would be removing them first thing on buying this unit. Probably just put the drawer fronts onto door hinges so they swing out to reveal a shelf space that goes all the way through to the bedside. Yes, my cpap would go in there, but it's far enough back that I expect I would also have a stack of underwear or socks in that cupboard. The drawer body just wastes too much space when there really isn't much to give up. Related to that, I think a great use of space, if you keep the dinette for the 3rd person sleeping position, then I would want to see a phone and water bottle pocket above the head, could take a few inches from the back of one of the pantry shelves and give it over to storage space accessible there. Heck I might even say do that on two shelves... those super deep cupboards are almost never well organized... better to let some of it be used from the side. Which would also help break up that huge space of wall you were talking about. Oh, and did anyone else upon seeing the sharp corners on the linen cabinet immediately think "I'm going to cut myself on that while using the toilet, I just know it." No? Just me? :) Two things I see on Jayco's online pricing page that I didn't hear you mention: optional dual pane windows and optional ABS with anti-sway.
Very sharp Josh. Have any RV dealers think of the tv have a power tv drop down from the upper cabinet. Mite be kind cool. Second air for Texas heat would be nice. Thank you Josh keep up the good work.
Very nice. My wish list. Drawers in dinette & bed box, curtain across foot of bed and enough standard solar to keep the refer going. None of these are deal breakers.
Josh, I am really liking this one. Lovin' all the windows. I would move the TV to a pop up TV like the one you posted a few days ago, giving more storage above the dinette. Lovin' the front window!!! I would like the see the under bed be open or a drawer, rather then lifting the mattress to access the space. Never been a fan of slides, but like this one. I agree with the changes to the bathroom, but could the door go on the outside of the wall instead? Still Lovin' your videos, and still hoping to see a Bish's nearer. You really have me in the market for another travel trailer. I just need to find the right one.
Hate windshields. I would either replace with a wood panel or paint over the mirrors by the bed, under bed storage should be a drawer and no lifting of the bed needed, I want some sort of privacy between the bed and the rest of the trailer. Good thing the filters last for thousands of gallon as it looks like a little cumbersome for an older fluffy gentleman to access all of them to change them.
I'm not seeing a privacy curtain. Wife's biggest complaint about this floorplan is no where to change clothes. We like that it has both an eating spot and recliners. I'd still like to have a table and chairs instead of a dinette.
I am one that doesn't really want a dinette in my rv, but what about a breakfast bar? I'd like to start seeing breakfast bars as options instead or a dinette for couples campers!
I was very exited to see this - it’s very nice but I still would get the Freedom Express 27RK before this / still waiting for a Brinkley Rear kitchen travel trailer 🤨
The angled wardrobes are good in theory but are annoying in practice. The limited space next to the bed gets reduced when you're trying to get past the doors. As always repace the dinette with a bar/desk.
Nah, its a miss for me: Too heavy (I cold pull it, but why, with so many lighter choces. I am also sooo tired of trailers designed with no trash storage. For $45k I expect a place to put a garbage can besides in the shower.
The dad bod catwalk was the best! From one dad bod to another, you nailed it. Also, a power tower in that kitchen would be great.
It's nice would like to see a privacy curtain by the bed
Totally fair

WOW!!! A Jayco with a front window?!?! It's about time!!!!
They've had a few but it's been super limited and rare
My quick hot take is ditch the dinette. Use a little of that for the bathroom and the rest an entertainment center with telavator keeping the window.
Dinettes seem to be a "battleground" right now. It's a VERY 50/50 feature
Lot of people have no use for them
Lot of people won't buy without a dinette
@JoshtheRVNerd should make it an option. We have a 7 foot long nice dining table in our house that only gets used when we have people over. Which is rare.

Yes, no dinette with a televator would be ideal with a slide out "table" with room for 2 folding chairs when needed
I wonder what it would be like with a bar across instead of the dinette with a televator pop up along the window.
@ I like that idea too. We don’t need a bunch of seating for eating as it will mainly just be the two of us. I find the dinette to be wasted space.
Really like this. Hopefully it leads to even smaller floor plans from Eagle. Something in the 25-ft range would be great.
Really nice setup but turn the dinette into bar seating and put the TV in a televator and gain a little more storage, otherwise it's really nice. Thanks for the walkthrough Uncle Josh 👍
That's a great idea for a couple's rig.
Love it! This is definitely the more high end version of this floor plan! Love the open living space. The whisper air is nice and quiet! Nice door side window. The kitchen is ok.. not a lot of counter top space. Overall nice camper. Thank you!
The whisper air is a great feature, glad you liked it!

If I didn’t just pick up a new trailer last year I think that would be the one for me!
I think a reverse televader to come down from the cabninet would be very cool and make up high view and wold put right on boardwalk and parkplace. The cheaper option would be to get a mantle mount to lower the tv down for a better viewing position.
👍🏻

I like a small dinette and the recliners
TY
This is fantastic! Jayco has done a great job on this layout! Bathroom is really good! Thank you Josh!
TYTY!! Love the updated channel name! Good choice
Thank you Josh!
😁Great floor, love the colors. Love the water filter set up,Couch and dinette with good tv position, and 7’ ceiling…Perfect! A nice kitchen also. I like the decor and color scheme. And I always prefer a tri-fold sofa over theater seats.😊

I've always loved this floor plan. But the bed, I'm only five three. I'd need a step stool to get in and out of it! 🤣
How awesome would it be💥if Jayco offered a residential sofa “option” for the outdated 1950’s diner booth dinette, so 4 people would be able to comfortably sit across from each other and visit on a cold rainy day or night👍
Its a nice little unit. I like it. Might like it more if a little longer and can separate out the bedroom.
I like Eagles and I like that they are upscaling a smaller trailer. I feel that’s really a missing segment.

This is a great comment. Small but nice is definitely something we don’t get a lot of
Very nice trailer! If they could somehow add an outdoor fridge, this would be nearly perfect!
Nice catwalk!! 😍😄
Thx it's my night job just in case this RV Nerd thing doesn't pan out
Great floor plan! Cable slide system is a deal breaker.
I would like to see the refrigerator that has a freezer drawer in all campers. Otherwise like this of course.
Visually I really like the bedside wardrobes and their angled mirrors.
Nothing says "home" like a wall clock. I've never seen that before in an RV 👍🏾.
It’s the little things sometimes
Not a fan of the angled “closet” doors and drawers. I do like having two seating areas. Still not sure why builders don’t go with 2 burner stoves in these layouts to allow more counter space. Otherwise, nice job Rudy!
No supplier currently offers a 2 burner stove + oven combo. So if you want an oven, then 3-burner stove is all that's out there
Otherwise.. yeah

@ - No camera does, that’s why I ask or look.

Impressive floor plan. I like the changes they plan
thank you!
Very sharp Josh. Have any RV dealers think of the tv have a power tv drop down from the upper cabinet. Mite be kind cool. Second air for Texas heat would be nice. Thank you Josh keep up the good work.
I think this is great with the exception of one thing.... the faux marble shower.
What would you prefer?
I like it and if they would redo the bathroom I think that it would be almost perfect, also I would like to see a privacy curtain in front of the bed.
Very nice. My wish list. Drawers in dinette & bed box, curtain across foot of bed and enough standard solar to keep the refer going. None of these are deal breakers.
Yeah those would be nice features!
Good job Rudy 👍
Neato. Not crazy about bath room near kitchen 🤯. But it will work. Needs plug tower on counter. Good one.
Yeah I'm thinking a plug tower would be a welcome addition. Great input!
It's a nice layout and provides a lot of storage, but at almost 28', I think they missed the mark by not having a private bedroom.
pull out sofa and a bar dining would be better OR a Ushape. You can get a tilt mount for the tv. I need bunks but this is great for couples!!
Sounds good to me!!
They need to add an optional 2nd AC
Awesome sauce Rudy
Josh, I am really liking this one. Lovin' all the windows. I would move the TV to a pop up TV like the one you posted a few days ago, giving more storage above the dinette. Lovin' the front window!!! After all the RVs I've looked at..this would be my choice IF it had a floor flush slide. Love it otherwise. Is there a table/chair option? 😊
TY
Great looking trailer
Yeah I liked it too
That's a nice little camper, I wonder if the dinette could be switched out for a table and chairs
They aren't offering that on this one as it turns out
Josh, do you have a resource for custom-made dual-pane RV windows?
I'm not seeing a privacy curtain. Wife's biggest complaint about this floorplan is no where to change clothes. We like that it has both an eating spot and recliners. I'd still like to have a table and chairs instead of a dinette.
Nice lay out. But yeah TV is quite. To avoid the toe stubber with the slide why not just build the cabinets out even to make them little deeper
Build the cabinets out too far and you cant get past them if closed. It's tough like that
@JoshtheRVNerd makes sense.
This would be on my top three list if it had a 2nd AC
Great to know. TY
Hi Josh, can you do a review on the 2025 Keystone 18RB, Thank you and best Regards
What series is that found in? Keystone makes a ton of stuff. is that a passport or springdale or ????
Are they going to have a privacy curtain that could go around bed area?
I am one that doesn't really want a dinette in my rv, but what about a breakfast bar? I'd like to start seeing breakfast bars as options instead or a dinette for couples campers!
Dinettes seem to be a "battleground" right now. It's a VERY 50/50 feature
Lot of people have no use for them

@JoshtheRVNerd I really love that bigger oven. I wish all makers put them in.
Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!
Where dose the sewer hose go if it don’t have a rear bumper??
Belly mounted hose holding tube
Love the layout but don’t need the dinette and it’s a bit on the heavy side as you pointed out but really nice.
It’s a solid choice though, no doubt
@ definitely one to watch for sure making me wish I would’ve bought the Tundra 😂
I was very exited to see this - it’s very nice but I still would get the Freedom Express 27RK before this / still waiting for a Brinkley Rear kitchen travel trailer 🤨
Yeah the 274RKDS is a good one
But I’m kinda bias.. that model was my idea lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The angled wardrobes are good in theory but are annoying in practice. The limited space next to the bed gets reduced when you're trying to get past the doors. As always repace the dinette with a bar/desk.
Hey Uncle Josh,I hope that you're having a great day! Why don't they put the Fusion Chill Cube 18,000btu Ac in this unit?
If they would just swap the placement of the toilet and the sink the bathrooms in these floorplans would be so much roomier
Current for the bed area would be nice
👍🏻
Good video Josh
Thanks! I had a good time making it
Needs USB on both sides of the recliners, not just one chair.
Absolutely!
Will they offer the option to not have a dinette? We're no dinette people.
Currently I don’t think they do
Come on Jayco, how much does a drop down TV bracket really cost? I promise we won't notice the small addition to the price.
:52 to about 1:07 is...... incorrect?
lol I left my editor a little verbal note. Looks like the footage stayed in
I was wondering “what the heck” also! 🤣
Is the roof black?
White
Why would they make the cabinets on either side of the tv different color then the rest of the camper!!?? Other than that, it’s nice!!
Jayco has done their entertainment center differently for years now
Really nice, but I would love a better camp kitchen
Many good features. The cooking stove is back too far on the slide. Makes my back , hurt looking at it.
Wonderful Input
Also, HOLY BOTS!
Nice. I need something under GVWR of 7500lbs, better under 7000.
I got you th-cam.com/video/PGO3qGIlZyo/w-d-xo.html
Not bad but ditch the dinette put in bar with stools and option a hide a bed
Lot of dining bar requests!
Beautiful RV. Suggestion no more dinettes
Dinettes seem to be a "battleground" right now. It's a VERY 50/50 feature
Lot of people have no use for them
Lot of people won't buy without a dinette
#RVNerdHerd 😊 🎉 😊
🎉#NerdHerd
Slide toe stub in front of the stove is a non-starter. Too bad they got most of the rest of the unit just right!
Maybe the could swap the toilet and sink
I think your knees would be IN the wall at that point
Azdel?
Not currently
Not sure why but this video for myself is super choppy no matter how many times I restart or switch the ratio
Playing fine here.. weird
Why not put the TV on a televator, going down instead of going up🤷♂️
I like it. EXCEPT for that dumb restaurant booth. sigh...
I like that it is 50amp trailer.
Nah, its a miss for me: Too heavy (I cold pull it, but why, with so many lighter choces. I am also sooo tired of trailers designed with no trash storage. For $45k I expect a place to put a garbage can besides in the shower.
That bathroom is BS
50 amp only??? Why Jayco??
