Love the breakfast bar that opens up the kitchen area💥and the over abundance of quality features like a standard LADDER🥳for mandatory roof maintenance that make this one of the nicest destination RVs that I have ever seen👍👍👍
Although not my cup of tea, these RVs are freaking cool. Basically all the comforts of life in something that you could move from time to time. But definitely a gorgeous rig. Great video Josh. Keep Rockin It Josh 🤪
I appreciate my audience and don't want to cause them problems. I've become VERY sensitive to that topic as my editor actually has photo sensitivity and has helped educate me further on it
Now this is the nicest destination trailer that I have seen. I don't think it has anything that one needs to complain about. The storage is phenomenal, the lofts are nice and the fact it has a separation between the beds is great. This unit has a comfy homey feel.
I appreciate the counter space, I have never been in a situation where my wife and I absolutely require our own separate faucets and basins simultaneously, and in reality the ridiculous amount of stuff my wife has around the sink means that with just one sink I still have somewhere for my razor and toothbrush to sit amongst all her paraphernalia. And I do appreciate the "zero negative space" approach these guys have, every RV I've owned has at least one or two spots where I've said "they really could've given us an XYZ in this spot" I get sometimes the way it works out leaves a funky shaped triangular space that the architect couldn't figure out how to use, but I appreciate the effort that goes in to eliminating those spaces. After all, when you're looking at an RV of this size, its not a pick up and move weekly travel trailer, its probably someones summer home, or in our case, lake house, and even the biggest RV is probably small compared to an actual house, so storage becomes critical.
Love the video Josh! So I'm thinking that if the cabinet on the L/H side of the stove had a 120 outlet inside you could make it a coffee bar that stows when not in use. Something like hotels use.
This unit gives the 44view quite the run! Definitely one to check out if you’re planning to park it and use it long term! 🎉 That water spigot, that’s the icing on the proverbial cake, dang!
Really love the bathroom with the single sink all of my friends who have double sinks in there RVs just state it's a junk holder they never use one of the sinks.
Josh, this is an exceptional Destination RV! In my opinion, for me, it's almost perfect. The living area I would have a three seater reclining soft. With a small space recliner. You're very entertaining with your nerdisum! Witch, makes watching your post hilarious.😂
This is an awesome destination rig the only thing we would add is the shocks for the storage above the microwave and in the master bedroom and for the lower cabinet door in the master bathroom just remove that and use it as open storage. Thanks for the mind-blowing walkthrough Uncle Josh 👍
This was actually prototype #1 and it wasn't essentially run down the production line in the same way as a normal unit. More of it was hand-finished quickly just for a "proof of concept" I won't claim any RV perfect but several of the glitches on this one are likely avoided thru the traditional processes Alliance employs
Right before you said that about the solar I was just thinking how many panels you can slap on the roof of that, park it out by a lake and never have to have be on grid
@15:10 Hey Alliance, I'm speaking for the class when I say, we won't be upset AT ALL if the fridge comes packed with booz! You weren't kidding about the RV industry having fun Josh! "Drink Responsibly"
Happy New Year, Josh! This is a nice rig though I'm not a fan of slideouts. One question, you refer to this as a "Destination Trailer". Is that different from those called a "Park Model"? TIA
The words are mostly used interchangeably but technically a "Destination Travel Trailer" like this is fully self contained whereas a "Park Model" doesn't follow RVIA standards. It may not have holding tanks and some of the appliances may be different (Like the oven)
@@JoshtheRVNerd I thought you would say that. How about finding me the perfect under 40ft TT with a bunk room 1 1/2 bath with washer dryer prep. I can't find anything on you tube or otherwise in this category. I have searched your channel and others but everyone is only doing couples trailers. I can't be the only seasonal camper with length restrictions on this channel that needs room to sleep at least 6 comfortably. Help a girl out here. Please.
One thing missing that is pretty important to me is a hanging closet for the main bedroom. Another suggestion I would make is to have some kind of cup holder option for the middle seats on that sofa, and definitely have a pull-out or fold-out bed option on it. Overall, love some of the things they've done with this Floorplan!
These are destination trailers and are intended to be used in a (mostly) permanent location. Can still be moved when necessary for maintenance, emergency situations (incoming hurricanes, impending fires...), or to another "permanent" location should the situation arise.
1) Thank you Alliance. We appreciate the chance to look at your products. 2) Thank you content creators for bringing us all of these great units to view. Love this unit. However I do have a couple of questions….. 3) Exactly where is the spare tire located at? What tires are on this big thing? Goodyear or Cooper H rated, or a cheap import since it’s designed to park and stay? This is a huge and heavy unit. I would want the best tires on it. Never know if or when you’ll get a flat to or from your destination. 4) Love the idea of this being a destination and a deck built next to it. This would be a beautiful trailer on a lake or mountainside property. In that type of destination, full time maximum roof solar would be totally awesome for this camper. This is an expensive camper, if you own the truck to move it to your pristine property that isn’t cheap either. Let alone the deck to build next to it. And depending where your property is located at, how much money would it cost for the power company to run a line to your destination, if they even would? Big unit, big roof; please put solar panels on the entire roof if not even allow for extra ground mounted panels for even more power. This has the potential to be the ultimate boon-docking get away camper that puts you at one with nature. If one had the resources, all of the above mentioned would be awesome for snowbirds as well.
I really love the head space in the lofts. It's a huge positive. I don't know about others but sleeping in a space where you can't sit up is claustrophobic. I love the kitchen, the sectional is perfect. The stackable washer and dryer space is great too. The drawers in the wall were an amazing idea. One major complaint, and this is for destination trailers only, why has no one attempted to put in an actual bathtub? If I'm staying in a space for an extended period I need a tub. I also don't understand why these bathrooms are as small as they can get away with. I personally wouldn't mind losing space elsewhere in order to have a bathroom that isn't the size of a closet AND NOBODY HAS DONE IT YET. I promise, many people would appreciate not bumping into the walls while trying to use the bathroom and parents with younger kids would love a full sized tub.
One of the tricks with RVs, as they often do not have the gray tank capacity to handle that quantity of water. But as you said specifically for destination trailers, which are larger and usually don’t have those challenges, it starts to make a lot more sense. The real answer is probably because nobody ever thought of it lol
I’ve watched so many vidss of the Benchmark but you pointed out details no one else covered. I’ve even spent time in one (hoping to be in it FT by summer) and missed some of those details. Such a beautiful RV 😊. My 2 issues are I wish it had a basement and more hanging space. It was between this and the paradigm 395ds, but my boys (who live with me and have a say) loved the open floor plan of the Benchmark. I don’t feel like I am ‘settling’ because love both models….
@JoshtheRVNerd Crazy but true 😁 they started showing it on tictoc and now everyone wants one. My husband and I are selling our home and property and going full time rv around April, so we are trying to decide what rv/5th wheel suits us the best. God bless 🙌
Wowza!!! I LOVE this destination unit. Gorgeous! Loving that stove/oven and the kitchen in general. Love all the storage in the primary bed and bath - and the rest of it is not too shabby either. Appreciate the matching, ventless flooring throughout. We have a big family so I'd like the couch to be a sleeper. If there's a way to have the tv facing seats recline and the other portion a sleeper that would be awesome. I believe my only request, crazy as it seems is I still like/ need my medicine cabinets lol. I know, crazy with all that storage but I really like and need them. Oh! Wanted to ask Josh: can the primary bed be used to recline against while watching tv/reading or is that strictly for travel mode? TIA!
This is pushing me towards buying a small lot on a mountain lake and parking this beast. I would load the roof with solar just as a backup if power is ever lost. I'd also probably build a generator shack for the same reasonl
Cool! I was thinking I’ve seen this layout before… then it dawned on me that this may be Azdel? So colder weather ready? This would be perfect for a full time site! 👍🏽😎👍🏼🤠
Alright there Josh I like the COMMODE rooms especially the one with washer after drinking all that beer I'd toss my clothes in the washer 😂. Ask me how I know 😂👋💣🚽💥💥💥💥
Dual Pane windows are an available option RV Dual Panes arent really insulated though unless they're that euro style. Here's a video on that th-cam.com/video/VW6v37psnv4/w-d-xo.html
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thanks Josh. I suspect that camper without insulated dual pane windows would be like staying in greenhouse in extremely hot summer climates. That said, I have a 2017 42' Jayco Designer parked on a permanent spot @ Harbor Marina about 30 mins from my home in Tulsa. It has dual pane insulated windows with three one year old mach 8 AC's, with dual shades, 3" walls & it's still challenging to cool it down with summer temps exceeding 110 degrees at times. Prob would be the same for other states like Arizona, Texas, Florida, etc. I wish these camper designers would consider these extremes when putting all those windows... That said, the unit is beautiful! Appreciate all your knowledge & videos. Stay humble, stay foolish, keep pushing! Take care.
Be a great vacation home if you have a place with a great view. PSA; I have a fridge in my house like the one in this rig. The freezer is a pain if you keep a lot of frozen items. Think tetras.
Weird idea but wouldn’t it be crazy if that sofa folded out to make a dog kennel an pup mattress ? I love my dog but she gets stir crazy at the wrong times like when we have to grab groceries real quick. Great video thanks
It's great as a tiny home. I just do not understand having a massive window in your bathroom - if you are in there, the blinds will be drawn (unless you are camping in the wilds which I don't think this is designed for). So for something that costs quite a bit - that front windshield - I think it is mostly useless.
So funny that you are all our favorite TH-cam peeps too! So nice knowing how well you all play with each other!
