Someone corrected me and explained who he really was. This was in the 90s. The memory came rushing back soon after I watched your video. It's funny how this info can spread.

Well I could do it quickly but it’s like a balancing act of having a reliable schedule as well as not neglecting my “real job” not burning out over either. So for me that comes to 22 episodes a year every 2 weeks for 9 months. Basically just like a network tv series even tho I’m no bound to 22 minutes the average time is kinda close to that

Thanks for noticing, there are many handwriting generators online and I just used one and printed it out. Fonts in pages (or god forbid, ms word) don’t actually work so well

I may be slow, but I actually tried looking to see if there actually was a "Let's Read The Pocatello Idaho 1982 Yellow Pages" video. Your stuff comes off so genuine that it it honestly rides that fine line between reality and satire. However, I did quickly recognize that those letters weren't legitimate, as people don't send letters anymore, 2.5 of them were in cursive script, which is as rare these days as Egyptian hieroglyphics, and, as your advertiser made clear, modern writing is anything but clear. Still, I know I'm missing some things, as I don't know Matt G. Monster and a search didn't really uncover much... I am happy to report, though, that I did get your pi joke. You know what, speaking of numbers, I never knew that "Musashi" in "Musashi no Ken" means 6-3-4....though I wonder why his name isn't Rosashi or Musayo. By the way, I was one of the four who up-voted "Ikki isn't such a bad game. Change my mind!" My opinion didn't radically change, but at least he made some decent points. Kind of off topic, but it's sad that some among the younger generation don't know the original "I've Fallen And I Can't Get Up! (TM)" Lady. It's a sad testament to the state of our culture today. Oh well, I'm off to watch "Classic Al Bundy audience reactions".

Some things were just made up on the fly Matt G Monster has no meaning but it sounds like a TH-cam name and I thought it would be funny if someone signed a real letter that way. One time I had a friend wrote LOL in a birthday card and so I thought that was strange but also indicative of how scrambled someone’s brain can be with too much internet. So what if the signature was like that. Of course they wrote in cursive because this channels audience is older so they learned how to write in cursive. It’s also a stab at the concept of the TH-camr P.O. Box. Because of course that only exists to have your fans send you stuff for free, but it’s under the guise of “fan mail” which is why I said I don’t get “cash or prizes” like I’m on a game show. But it’s laughable because yeah like you said no one writes letters anymore but also it’s easier to send email and any and all TH-cam channels can communicate thru comments! Yet, of course, big channels that have the P.O. Box never ever read the comments much less write back! So that’s kind of the thinking behind that. Let’s read the yellow pages is a stab at the way some channels got big and at the same time lazy. Certain real channels have made some quality stuff but quickly realized they can just read a magazine and the same people will stick around so why not just read whatever because who cares right? But of course the topic club Nintendo would be, to fans of that a fun deep dive and to everyone else a real history lesson which is what a channel that now reads old magazines may have gotten popular from long ago and / or should still be doing. Anyway that’s what I was thinking with these things. There will be more of course and so many videos going back to the start are have weird in jokes and references. Some are only to make me personally laugh or they refer to something I was doing at the time or maybe about something else. Often it’s just a reminder to connect whatever idea to something else later. But all that stuff I come up with makes the Dennis Miller Ratio look like the Drake Equation but hey what can I tell you?

Every time I see this, I can't help but think Taito was prolly planning to port Great Swordsman to Famicom, but hadn't the memory to handle the full animations and different styles, so they used what they had as a basis for this game, considering the 2nd 3rd of GS was kendo.
