Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and a component of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in which thin needles are inserted into the body. Acupuncture is a pseudoscience; the theories and practices of TCM are not based on scientific knowledge, and it has been characterized as quackery.
The Amish (/ˈɑːmɪʃ/; Pennsylvania German: Amisch; German: Amische), formally the Old Order Amish, are a group of traditionalist Anabaptist Christian church fellowships with Swiss German and Alsatian origins. They are closely related to Mennonite churches, a separate Anabaptist denomination. The Amish are known for simple living, plain dress, Christian pacifism, and slowness to adopt many conveniences of modern technology, with a view neither to interrupt family time, nor replace face-to-face conversations whenever possible, and a view to maintain self-sufficiency. The Amish value rural life, manual labor, humility and Gelassenheit (submission to God's will).

My late father was actually a taxi driver for the Amish. We live pretty much right on the outskirts of Amish country, and often go there for quality meat rather than relying on our local supermarket here in Garrettsville.

I live in PA, over this summer I went to Belize for a conservation project. Theres a large Mennonite population in Belize(very interesting history btw). I was unaware of this upon arrival and vividly remember thinking “these fuckers followed me” lol.
