Un equipo amateur haciendo sudar sangre a un muy buen equipo del top 10 de la élite, metiendo hasta con un jugador menos, tacleando en todas, un resultado medio que parece un espejismo, con lo que fue el partido un orgullo la verdad!!
Coincido en gran parte, pero fiji no está en el top 10.
@@MrCano2007 en realidad si está, el top 10 son los 4 del hemisferio sur que juegan el rugby championship, 5 del los que juegan el 6 naciones( todos menos italia) y fuera de esos el mejor es Fiyi, despues le siguen japon, italia, samoa, georgia, tonga.

I actually thought they were both carded for nothing. Refs sometimes ruin the flow of a good game.
It's funny we came to the World Cup to score a try and we scored two but still other teams here came to actually try to snatch a win. Even if Fiji is in the top 10 the level of the other three opponents is way ahead and they still went toe to toe. I don't think we should qualify to the next WC as the difference would be far to great for us to even attempt to try something.

They were on a warning? So what? It was handbags and totally didn't deserve too yellows. The refs need to use their discretion at times and not stick to the letter of the law. Ridiculous.
If you think Eng;and was hard done by in the group of death, spare a thought for Fiji. They would have had strong chance of the 1/4s if in South Africa'a or New Zealand's pool.
Defenetly not a chance in NZ pool, fiji would have lost to Argentina.

Es una lastima que Uruguay no le de fondos por la importancia que tiene este tipo de competición. Físicamente sus jugadores tienen gran potencial debería considerarles profesionales para explotarlo al maximo.
Y después de todo seria una alegría que Sudamérica tuviera mas importancia a nivel mundial en el deporte.

No se de qué se sienten orgullosos... Uruguay fue el hazmereir del mundial. Resultados abultadisimos, planteos simples, festejaban un try a pesar de que seguian perdiendo, los jugadores que reclamaban las decisiones arbitrales y se atrevian a hablarles. En fin, cosas que no cuajan con el Rugby. Eso si, no me voy a olvidar de la garra charrua que los identifican, pero como dijo Pagani, que en este caso lo voy a amoldar al rugby "La garra charrua sirve para las guerras, y esto no es una guerra. Es un partido de Rugby. Al Rugby se juega moviendo la pelota, no con lanzas y flechas"
Pero el Orgullo y la algarabia de apoyar un Try en un Mundial y contra una Selección potencia, viene por el hecho de que estos tipos no son profesionales juegan al Rugby por pasión y solo pasión no por dinero. Muchos jugadores perdieron gozar su licencia en el trabajo, dejaron de dar examenes en facultad o perdieron sus empleos por ir a representar al Pais. Pero claro q podras saber vos... opinar y tirar mierda es gratis.
Ademas en este partido se ve claramente como el publico local festejo con entusiasmo los Try de Uruguay, pero se ve que vos tenes algo personal con Uruguay bien adentro y no te lo podes sacar con nada.

Ma'afu's yellow was for nothing but the Uruguayan 9 definitely deserved a yellow after being snappy all game and when you talk back to the ref like that it's gonna be a red, you hardly get that kind of attitude in rugby anymore, it's kinda disappointing

+LLV definitely, Fiji have played very well, pushing wales, england and australia all the way. i think samoa and tonga havent really shined in this tournament at all.
LLV samoa were such a good team last world cup too, if fiji had been in any of the other pool they would have stood a good chance of reaching the quarters

the Ormaechea red card shows a lack of appreciation of the world cup as a spectacle. Referee in context. He was one of the best players of a minor nation and world cup is about attracting smaller nations and being a spectacle. Be lenient on him!

No es que sean dificiles, es que en el mundial hay 4 grupos, y de los 20 equipos uruguay está entre los peores 4 y al formar los grupos se pone uno de los peores en cada grupo.
