FINALLY the Maiden of the all new Freewing Banshee 64mm.
Nice flight!
Thanks for coming
I want to get one of these. I just gotta figure out how to get a SAFE receiver set up in one. I'm still new to EDF's so I like a little insurance. Thanks for the video
Use a admiral stability plus and watched motion rc tutorial videos for setup.once you get used to the jet fly her with the gyro only mode.
I've not tried Admiral recievers, but I have used Orange recievers and I would not recommend those ..at all
Well this is the first time I have had an Admiral receiver fail a range test.
Nice landings! And thanks for a possibility to see this plane "in real life", not in advert videos. It flies very good, is very floaty and definitely can take more weight and bigger battery.
And it is very, very beautiful, IMHO. "It's pleasant to take into hands."
Yes, you are right
Nice flight and landings with the Freewing Banshee. I fly from a grass field and although it isn't that thick, I think it might be better suited for pavement. Thanks for sharing
If this were a 6s bird the grass would not be a problem.
Nice flight ❤,regardless prices would you prefer this one or vulcan 70mm?
Well I cannot say, I had one flight on the Vulcan with a crash on maiden(my fault) multiple flights on this one. So not able to compare due to lack of flights with the Vulcan.
@@FatGuyFliesRC I just ordered!!
Let’s see how it goes
I like the green color, it is pretty
Thanks so much!
What RC did you put in it?
I am pretty sure a ar620. I will check when I get home.
Love a review that doesn’t really review the plane
Sometimes I get so excited about flying a plane I forget i am supposed to be reviewing it...lol
@@FatGuyFliesRC lol sorry I wasn’t having good luck finding a review of this plane on TH-cam
Everything about the jet is nice except for the fixed landing gear. I'll probably go for the freewing rebel v2 instead.
I had that one but sold it. Good plane though.
Another great video!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Lol ... was that a 'bored wife' on the way back to the podium ? haha ...
Yep but bless her heart she helps me load up and is my biggest fan. I do not deserve her.
@@FatGuyFliesRC Awww, good to hear. She IS a star. Great videos Sir ... (Phil, UK)
Looking forward to getting somstick time in on my new Banshee, maiden went well with a AR631 set with fairly low AS3X setting. I’ll adjust as needed next time I take it up. Maiden day was so windy 2 minutes later I landed it and said saved for another day.
How does this compare to the Habu 70mm
This one is more agile.
Is this a first EDF possibility???
As long as you have flown low wings with speed then yes.
@@FatGuyFliesRC How does it compare to the V2 Rebel and the Habu as a first jet? Same question for the Arrows Marlin if you've tried it. Thanks.
