I am so extremely happy you shared this with me, THANK YOU! I just did a brand new video this week about “what I know now” and tips and tricks! Check it out if you’re interested!❤
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've tried the sticker paper settings, my own manual setting, and the sticky note setting. All were too deep of a cut to make a sheet with kiss cute stickers. The washi sheet setting was PERFECT. Now I can stop throwing out sticker paper with tears on them 😂
🎉I wish I could take the credit but just all the sharing from so many on You Tube, just a vessel😊So happy it worked for you. I’ve learned even more since this video, so I’ll be updating a new video before the end of the year. Thanks for sharing it worked
Hang tight friend! So, since I made this video, 1. I have a second video and 2. I now realize there are so many issues on a daily basis. I will be making a WAY updated video before 2025.
The one I went live on to explain better. Now I do a second run over on washi sheet setting. Again, plan on showing what works now consistently for me. I use Vinyl Sticker sheet by Joyeza. th-cam.com/users/livey9D7nTvEaBg?si=1zZShubsMS8Jc201
Thank you for this. Yes, you are correct, there are so many YT channel tutorials that have you so confused and in fits by the end of their tutorials. I also spent way too much time trying to figure this out. You have helped so much! Thank you!
MICHELLE! Thank you for leaving this. I’m sure we will all learn more shortcuts, but sharing in different ways for different thinkers is so important. It’s the elementary school teacher in me😂
This is the first time I have seen your channel, I haven’t even seen your entire tutorial, but I already love your style. Love the credit you give to others and admitting the challenge you have had with this process. Ty
I've watched so many videos about making sticker sheets and this is the only one that fully explained the layers. I've worked with the Adobe Creative Suite for years so I get how layers are used but this is the only video I've found that said to merge all the illustrations on the layer. That's the one thing I was doing wrong. After a lot of trial and error, I finally have sticker sheets. Thank you!!
Thank you so much for the tutorial. I have been playing with material settings with Cricut Maker 3 for the sticker sheet, and I always got the die cut effects. Thank you for pointing out for using Washi material and now I finally am getting kiss cut effect.
I’m glad I can share tips that have been shared with me! Thanks for taking the time to let me know this helped:) I have a transparent sticker sheet tutorial video too since it’s different settings and other useful tips I learned❤
Thaaaaaaank youuuuuuu❤❤❤❤❤ I look for this for a long time…. I had the perfect kiss cuts years ago, but there was one fu… update of design space and it wasn’t the same. You make my day 👍🏼😘
Hi friend! Procreate on IPad and Cricut for everything else.I have a “newer” one since then that I did live to walk you through it. I’ve learned a lot since this video
This is so it cuts the sheet out, when you do washi tape setting, it barely cuts out to make the stickers kiss cut, so you have to add layers to make it cut out the sheet rectangle several times. This is optional
I tried as you said, kiss cut is working perfectly but even I added four times bg the background not cutting always to the down, and I reloaded second time cut, it was same, so I would like to know what kind of sticker paper you are using? I thinks it is depends on the paper.
I would like to know how you convert ya printer to pigment ink. So you can't put ink jet ink what happen if u have ink jet in in your printer already guess you can't convert it right
I have a bummer answer, you have to start fresh, like brand new printer (which is why I found the cheapest best one to convert), and put pigment ink in ONLY. Same goes for sublimation, it needs its own printer and ink from the get go. I wish there was a way to just add it, but the ink will be tainted if you blend it.
Couple of notes... instead of moving everything to x=1 y=1, just select everything with the mouse, (or cmd+a) choose Align > Centre - no need to align vertically then align horizontalli - align centre just does both things. Once you've got all your layers added and attached together then put then close to each other and attach. Design Space doesn't care where anything is placed on the canvas, unless it is placed in relation to something else and attached together. Might just save you a little bit of time each time :)
NOW THIS IS STRAIGHT TO THE POINT AND LOVE THIS! Since this video, I actually found this out, so I appreciate you taking time making this comment section more helpful! Thanks for taking the time!
YES🎉 Since doing this video, I’ve learned 1. You don’t need a subscription 2. All Cricuts are unique no matter if they are the same model. My other video explains way more in depth and a better understanding. I’ve changed my cut settings each week depending on blade dullness and more. Here’s the WAY BETTER version: th-cam.com/users/livey9D7nTvEaBg?si=6fmiHObvjsK-QQFT
But printing, you have to be able to print your pages. This is how you get the product. You can always make your pages and sell your file to customers for them to use. In case you don’t have a way to print it
Since I don’t own a Cricut Joy, I can’t say, but it’s my understanding it would work for any model of you are using Cricut App and have your template size correct. I believe the Joy is just smaller, but all the same:)
❤ kqtnipp, I watch her all the rime! Cute stickers, btw! Thanks again for clarification on this! I've got the cricut joy Xtra machine, made some die cut & kiss cut stickers with it already, but no backer sheet, tho!
@Critterosity I made a physical sticker book, using my cricut joy xtra, I recently posted a video about it on my channel. I followed the steps you gave in your video, but my printer color was off! It's a test product anyway, tho.
I was in beta mode trying their “kiss cut” design. You just go on and do it like this in the normal design studio. So it was taking away the options when I went into their beta mode.
I have done sooooo many tutorials and NONE cut the stickers out. Only the outside. When i use cricuts option for stickers, that works.sometimes, but will NOT cut kiss cut stickers. Help!
If the layers are all attached, which I show the first part of the video, they cut out. I just show the end when I was peeling them up. They cut the stickers out first then the rectangles. When you see me peeling them it had already done the die cutting stickers. Sorry that isn’t filmed, but it most definitely cut them out first. Layers must be all attached exactly how I have it shown in the first few min I talk about it.
So something weird happened with mine. I had two sticker sheets on the same page. It cut out one completely but not the other. And I know I put the squares on both but it's like cricut didnt put the right pressure on the second sheet to cut all tge way though...help! 😭😭
So sorry, was out of town and missed this! So there is another tutorial that I updated as I kept learning, but!!! The blade constantly spins around in the housing while you work. So I make it look like the picture when I pick which blade I’m using. The other thing I found is making sure my table is perfectly level. But what I’ve learned overall, there is LITERALLY no consistency 😢 So keep going friend!
I have to say I bought an epson ET 2803 for sublimation and another for pigment ink printing for stickers and more, so I have 2 different ones to do 2 different things. I’m not saying sublimation ink wouldn’t work for that, I just haven’t necessarily printed on regular paper or vinyl sticker sheet paper with my sublimation Ink.❤
What sticker paper you’re using to print the image on? I’m trying to find a good one I’m using the circuit one and their logo is all on the back which I don’t like
Hi there!!! Here’s my Amazon link that has all the products I use. Hope this is helpful so you can make all the things! www.amazon.com/shop/critterosity/list/X86YRHOY3Q87?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_m
th-cam.com/users/livey9D7nTvEaBg?si=kin6bWw_4VnSXuTf This is the new one I did live so no one thought I was pulling wool over their eyes😂 Hopefully the live tutorial shows the updates I’ve learned. I also have noticed that the cricut and blade change on the daily. It depends on the company’s product you’re cutting so if you want what I use I have the sheets I use in description. My settings now with a deep cut blade loaded and Joyeza sheets: Vinyl: Deep point blade More pressure Washi Sheet (not tape) Transparent Vinyl: Deep point blade More pressure Sticky note
I’m so sorry, I only have Apple products. Hope someone can share a design space soon. You can still use the criket design, space and use other tutorials, this was just the fastest way to get it done and the cleanest.
Not sure if you still need help, but I had this problem too. My solution was I had to create a “basic cut” layer for the individual stickers and placed that “basic cut” layer under the “print and cut” layer for the individual stickers. And just make sure the background layers are at the very bottom though. Hopefully this helps other people with this same problem too!
Since this old tutorial I’ve learned a lot, but unfortunately it doesn’t cut through with on layer. Hope this helps answer:) if you have a better way, would love to know❤
Ok, I don’t have a better way, I am just lazy and make my planner stickers on indesign then transfer to cricut. Pretty much this way I think mine just has an extra step but I’ll try this out
Danggit. I did so much reading and more people said to use dye ink... I buy the dye ink... and now it seems like everything I watch says pigment is better *Cries*
I’m so sorry! If I don’t get sick during Xmas, I wouldn’t have spent as much time researching. You can still do it with those and spray a clear or use laminate over them on paper/vinyl product. Also, you can flush the cartridges I believe, but more tutorials 😂Sorry friend! The epson 2800/2803 was a cheap restart when I found out my older printer wouldn’t work
@@Critterosity I havent loaded in the ink yet, maybe Ill return it while the return window is still good. I DO have the laminate sticker sheets too tho!
Pigment ink is waterproof and it will not easily fade. I am using dye ink because it is much better in color. I just use waterproof vinyl matte sticker and photo top and it will be waterproof too. 😉
