Great videos! The main difference I noticed was the space between the foot of the bed and the wall. For the JR balcony Kellie had to go sideways to get to the balcony. This could be difficult for people with disabilities.
Yes! That's it! Thank you for pointing this out. I did not notice but it is definitely a tighter squeeze to get past the bed to the balcony.
Love the dirty laundry idea. lol We didn’t use ours on the Mardi Gras because I was afraid we’d forget whatever I stashed in there. 😅

I just booked my first cruise for June of 2024. I am in a Junior balcony on deck 12. I am happy to see this video. Being new to cruising, I am hoping to avoid mistakes.

Thanks so much for this tour. My daughter and I are staying in this exact cabin in March and I am happy to see it has a couch. My daughter will love the big tv as well. It’s a little tight to walk around between the bed and the wall but that will definitely determine which side I sleep on. 😊

Its very interesting because on the deck plans floor plans - they definitely show that the junior suites do not have a couch so I wonder if the Jubilee will be the same way?
I had a junior balcony on the Mardi Gras. Numerous people and sites said that it didn’t have a sofa, but it did. The only difference is that the head of the bed is not recessed into the wall.

See @T-MAC comment. I think the width of cabin is the difference.
The cabin width appears to be the same as a regular balcony. The difference is the head of the bed is not recessed into the wall to give the extra space at the foot of the bed.

XL suites all the way but not the ones right over the bars

Great tour! I love the improvements, especially the huge TV and electrical outlets...I'm still at a loss why they don't put outlets or USB ports near the bed for our phones, the electrical wiring is already there! 😢
They had them by the bed on the Mardi Gras suite.

The little flip lights bedside the bed and sofa had a usb at the base of each flip light. Electrical outlets are at the vanity and in bathroom.

Hi guys - so know someone that is staying in cabin in 14523 which is a Junior balcony. She has no couch and it’s the layout as shown on the deck plans on the carnival site. I have a video I can send to you. So clearly something is up with 15229 :)
Thanks for the info! Who knows the rhyme or reason! Lol. I looked at Carnival's deck plan for Celebration cabin 15229 and it does not show a couch which is so odd. Lol. Carnival's deck plan does not show a couch on Mardi Gras 10493 (junior balcony) and we had a couch. It's a mystery!

HI we have that same cabin. 16215 on a cruise coming up is it the same set up with the bed next to the window and how is the view from the balcony?
@@joeylapan7153 the bed is next to the window yes and the balcony view is amazing. you only have a neighbor to you right as the ship crew rooms are to your left.
We already know what she looks like so why not move the camera around more to see everything. She doesn’t always need to be center in frame. So frustrating.
