We purchased the 2020 3854BR and it's got the same coloring, but darker sofa and theater seating. I can tell you it's a GREAT floorplan. I work remotely so that extra bunkhouse makes a great office - and it doesn't show, but that desk in the bunkhouse is VERY generous. We have a King bed and we sleep like babies. I love this layout, the finishes, and the materials. The bunk bed is great for storage that we want to easily access and don't want to store under the rig. We couldn't be more pleased with our purchase. Quality fifth-wheel, quality floorplan.

Kitchen is beautiful & large. I like the office and that is what I would use it for. I love the bunkhouse, it is so cute. Maybe that could be my private space or extra storage. Need I say more? Love the master with the king bed, washer/dryer hook up and a very nice bathroom I like all of the extra storage outside & the cookout space. All in all a beautiful home that I would love to have. As an owner of a 2018 Montana 3560RL Legacy with fb paint, I am a big fan of the line. I like the move to sliding interior doors. Our bathroom pivot door is getting sticky and doesn't want to move well any longer. I'll come up with a fix for that. Has Montana addressed the weak blind brackets on the rear window? They can't hold both long heavy roller shades while bumping down the road, which causes them to fall onto the rear sofa. I machined a pair of adjustable aluminum blocks to now hold mine in place. Limited kitchen counter space with the bonus room. Our sliding closet doors stick as well, due to the screw heads in the bottom track standing proud, just need to re-countersink them for flush fit to solve that. Love that they moved to self closing drawer and cabinet door hardware. I know the floor heater vents are the most efficient, but real debris catchers. They need to move them into the baseboards. Love that the outdoor kitchen includes a sink. Most RVers grill outdoors, so don't really need the cooktop, which would be better used as a storage drawer. You have a cooktop steps away inside. Two Keystone products for us and both were utter nightmares. Last one was a brand new 2016 Outback. Nightmare. Hoping they’ve gotten better. Switched to Highland Ridge and have had very minor little problems.
Where can you buy Montana, 3855BR in Oregon. Can modifications be done in factory? Like remove side windows in slide outs, small compact dish washer under sink, remove garbage can spot. Add 3 solar panels, twin beds in place of Queen or King. closets could be moved to slide out and twins would have room. storage under twins. W/D in bathroom. LOL, I will do full time living. Do not like the steps they put on the new RV'S I like the fold up steps. We have a 2017 Montana 36' and it has cable slides and they are nothing but trouble. We had a 2004 Montana with Hydraulic ---it was great.
Hi Josh. Great videos. Can you do a video on off-gassing from the materials used in RV material. Is off-gassing worse in some units and not in others? What can we look for to mitigate this problem? Formaldehyde poisoning can ruin the love of a very expensive purchase. Looking to buy a 2021 Montana 3931FB but want to avoid the sickness caused by our current 2020 Grand Design Reflection 260RD. Not accepting the solution of having to buy a used 2018 or older RV unit to avoid this problem. This is a topic that is never talked about. They don't want to discuss the elephant in the room.

Best way to distribute heat. Other brands throw the vents in cabinets with 3" hose with twist and bends that reduce air flow. Montana uses a 14"wide x 3" thick central duct to create the best heat distribution. They also run the water line next to that heat duct for a true 4 seasons fit.

I'm sure that they could...but each rig goes in a climate controlled center and the engineers configure the best location for the heat distribution. The reason they do this is so that there's no hot/cold spots. Every place in the camper is consistently the same temperature
Consider the amount of campers keystone has produced (over 100k) in the last 20 yeara vs the competition that has been around for maybe 5. Unfortunately all rv's will have issues with being pulled down the road. A big portion of new purchase issues comes from a dealership doing an improper prep or presentation to the customer. All campers use roughly 2 or 3 different part manufacturers for furnaces, ac units, water systemsetc. They're almost the same. It comes down which brand assembles the best and takes care of their customer. Keystone Montana plant only builds Montana's. Other brands run travel trailers, bumper pulls or toy haulers which makes the build inconsistent when cranking out 20+ rigs a day. Keystone has a customer relations phone number to contact during business hours to help find your closest dealer for parts/warranty work and a website portal 24/7. We sold 152 Montana's last year (2020) and maybe a small handful we received phone calls with minor issues that I can think of off hand.
