It's not the number of subs, it's about "POWER" and the QUALITY of the install!
Quality is a most..but you're wrong about the number of subs..one sub will never be louder than 2 or more subs,no matter the brand or money put into that sub etc.
Power doesn't mean shit if you don't have the subs to handle it.
@@225maine Yes and no. If you're talking about the exact same subwoofers sure. I would rather have one 15" sub in a large ported box pushing 4000w than two lower grade 15s in the same size box running the same 4000w. At that point it's going to be a measure of tone and frequency response. That one big nasty 15 in the big nasty box is probably going to thump a lot lower notes than the two lesser 15s in the same size box with the same power. It's all a matter of preference honestly. You can make incredible bass in any number of ways and you quickly hit the wall where doubling power becomes insanely expensive.

@@Thezuule1 i agree with that,i have two 5k 15's with quad magnets each on 5k with 18 LTO lithium power cells wired to .5 ohms..i didn't need 4 12's,each sub has 6 spiders. Same setups same vehicle, the one with more cone area will always be louder.

@@m54P I’m more then happy with my setup. The ZV5 is on a Soundqubed 4500 in a big slot port with plexiglass window. It gets down real good.

That is loud but it really has good clarity you know how some time the bass go over to beat or over the music it just sounds perfect hopefully she can make my car sound like that

It doesn't get any better than that. A super sexy 1-15in set up that slams hard, and a sexy lady bass head to go with it. She gives me the impression she did the install. That's a double turn on lol. We need more women like her in the game. Great job!

Well thats a spl sub ,it takes 8k watts to power it and 2 batterys, the jl13w7 takes 1000 k watts minimum with one baterry and could prob hit 143-146 db,sounds way cleaner and clearer ,overall a more efficient and better sub ,ive seen people on offer up trying to trade a sundown for jl ,Lol

Sundown subs are very underrated.. long as you sending it clean power the subs can take it pretty good
I just punched in the theile small numbers of one of these and they are flat in a 20 odd litre box, man these systems must be peaky.

I have a similar set up different brands but making same volume and pressure I still haven't punch it louder tho. I need more if I want to be able to go to a competition it still sounds like it doesnt eant to come out from the car.

Guy pulls up with 1 15 in the trunk at a show. People standing around: thats it. I got 2 18s and hit 160s, i got 4 15s i hit 158 dbs. Also "insert the brands they run in their statement.... girl shows up with a kicker cvr and a dual amo - those same people: this bih beatin, damn that is loud for that sub. Girl that thing is impressive....... tell me im wrong cause it is true. 😂😂😂 none the less i like all system it is just funny how people be like that. But those zv are nasty no matter what.
