- If you’re thinking about making an object show, now is the BEST TIME because Object Shows are about to blow. Up.
Recently, we’ve seen a SURGE in object shows entering the mainstream, specifically Marker from BFB appearing in plush form on the news, to Rosie O’Donnell, a famous actress/comedian talking about BFDI and Inanimate Insanity on her TikTok, and FINALLY, the NEW season of Total Drama Island has been leaked, and kids who LOVE Total Drama Island will eventually find object shows.
The last Total Drama Season - bar ridonculous race - was in 2013 - TEN YEARS AGO. We are about to see a HUGE wave of kids watching total drama for the first time - a new generation - who are about to be sucked into the Total Drama to Object Show Pipeline, and this is good news for ALL of us.
When an object show channel like JacknJellify does well, or a hit object show like ONE comes out, most object show channels benefit thanks to the recommended column knowing EXACTLY what a kid obsessed with object shows wants: MORE OBJECT SHOWS.
We’ve seen this surge time and time again. It’s why you never need to worry about a monopoly on object shows because when one of us does well, everyone does well - it’s not a winner-takes-all situation.
That’s why right now is the BEST time to start working on your object show. If you were looking for motivation - here it is - open up a Google Doc, write your script, record your lines, and finish your object show because, according to my forecast, we’re about to have the BIGGEST Summer surge in object show HISTORY.

Honestly I'm quite amazed at how far the OSC has gotten over the past decade, even if its as something as small as a Marker plushie being on the news, it's nice to see it slowly becoming more mainstream. I'd highly encourage anyone who's aspiring to create an object show to get right on it (granted that you have the necessary requirements of making one). The great thing about object shows is the endless amount of ways you could make one, you could go the standard TDI competition show route like BFDI or II, or you could shift gears and create something profoundly unique, like ONE. No matter which one you decide to do, with enough hard-work and dedication, you could create something amazing.

I should also add that a lot of The Owl House fans are looking to get into object shows now that it's over, so if there weren't enough reason to believe the OSC is about to grow, there's one more for you!

The fact that marker appeared on the news-
i feel honored as a person in the bfdi community(and consequently the entire osc as a whole)
it reminds me of how specific bfdi assets are in a lot of unrelated content
for example theres the bfdi mouth which is common even outside bfdi, heck even jnj made a short called "why is the bfdi mouth everywhere?" a few months ago which had a section that showed the mouth being used in completely random stuff, and there was also a picture of fricking ice cube in something that probably had to do with teeth, same with bubble in a what appears to be soap product(i have zero idea as to what does it say since its all in hebrew i think)
I’ve been planning to make my own object show since the start of the year, and I’m glad they are starting to get a lot more recognition! I’ve been a member of the OSC since 2019, and I have high hopes for the future of object shows.

Actually thanks for creating the playlist, it introduced me to most of the object shows included in the playlist
im so glad i managed to get back into object shows again this year seeing how much its blowing up and such, its really cool to see popular people and even celebrities even discuss bfdi
This helped ALOT, I was already planning to make one but I didn’t know what art style to use so then I went with the classic style I think it’s gonna look great!
I'm excited to hopefully see a bunch more people entering the OSC, the more the merrier! -especially considering how many people get cancelled, more people will make up for that-
And even with this being prime object show creating time, my slow ass is still tryna write episode 2 of my 16 episode series T-T

I guess it’s a more opportune time than ever to pitch my idea for an object show. I wanted to do a surreal horror similar to ONE, but even less of a competition and even more of a disturbing breakdown of the psyche. I’d love help getting this idea out there to as much of the OSC as I can.
The plot surrounds Frasier hosting a wacky competition on an abandoned island resort. However, the dark truths behind Frasier's intentions with the contestants become more apparent as the contestants become more reluctant to compete. If this interests you, please spread the word because I would love to make this show work.

OOOOOOO that is great news!! I recently got to be an animator of an object show called Shift Brawl by ZAnimates2020 and FastDuck and the first episode only came out about a week ago. Also its nice to see a new generation getting to experience total drama island.

It’s pretty strange because I actually had a dream about some object show characters (candle from II and two others I don’t remember very clearly) they apparently got captured in a cage and they escaped after a while. Could this mean I’m a fortune teller? Probably not, but it definitely means that object shows are gonna be released from the cuffs of the slow algorithm.

I've been more into object shows all over again. I've tried to get my own object shows up and running but nothing ever got past the early planning phase. I'm hoping to try again and change that.
THIS GIVES ME A LOT MORE MOTIVATION!!! I started making my own object show called "Schoolhouse Nightmare", based off of ONE. But I had to start fresh because I didn't like that script. But I was also thinking about animating it which I'm not good at and I don't have the patience. And I've been starting my own series called "Brawl For Cereal" where BFDI and II characters team up and fight cereal mascots. And I have school, so yeah I have a lot going on. So let's hope for the best of me.
I got back into Object Shows in the same way you described! Though, it’s not my introduction, it certainly is my reintroduction after years of not keeping up with them. There’s still a part of me who thinks it’s ‘cringe’ to like them, but I’m trying not to feel so guilty.
