February 2024. It was a cold, windy day.
The gorillas were relaxing indoors. After a while, when Kiyomasa and Annie started to play, Ai, a female gorilla who was relaxing above them, started to pee on them. Kiyomasa and Annie ran away in a panic.
They had always hated getting wet in the rain, but they probably hated getting wet in someone else's pee even more.
Later, Ai and Annie's females were playing together.

Nene was born wild in Cameroon.
The other three were born in the Higashiyama Zoo in Japan.

Shabani always in love with Annie raised her, protect her and love her very much.
When the day comes for Annie to leave the troop, Dad Shabani will find it very different not to have his daughter with him. Shabani is very protective of her and loves her very much.

Why does she have to leave,
perhaps she doesnt but I would presume they couldnt have another silverback in the enclosure with Shabani and the rest of the troop.
Which is ok, because shabani does not see annie as a daughter just like kiyo doesnt see annie as a sister or annie see kiyo as a brother.. it confuses alot of people why they refer to captive gorillas in this way, only because that is not at all what happening here. Why people seem to think they are one happy family is beyond me and confuses me. But also when they seperate them , they permanently damage all of them emotionally mentally even physically, you will see them chagne and become lost. And you will be able to see it in their facial expressions just how lost they are 😢

Kiyo loves her too much, wonder when it time for them to separate how they will do?? They touchy a little too much if big daddy wasn’t there it’s hard telling how many years they would mate😂, Annie needs her own pole😂😂

These beautiful beings are not for our amusement. The greatest respect is giving some form of natural habitat. Personally if I was an extinct animal I would prefer to live and die in the jungle. Love and respect to these beautiful intelligent caring beings.

They live a very depressing life in captivity.
In my opinion and I do have a master's in the science of psychology the Gorillas seem sad or board its crazy to me that these animals are put on display like there some kind of tourist attraction. These are actually living breathing animals with feelings and emotions they shouldn't be laughed at and pointed at from behind a glass in some little room with lettuce bits on the floor I mean... I don't know its not right and anyone who hurts an animal like this should be striped of there freedom.
