Great info. The name "Mooi" here in South Africa where White Faced Scops Owls are from, means "pretty" so her name means "pretty pretty". Subbed after just watching this video, keep up the informative content! 😉

It's like most birds. They are born without feathers and look quite terrible tbh. XD But once they get their fluff, many birds get very cute looking. :P

I love owls, especially barn, snowy, and parrot owls, but I realize they would not make good pets and I would not be a good owner in any case to give them the care they would need, so I'm happy with watching informal videos of people who are knowledgeable and responsible to see the birds in action, pictures, or in the rare and amazing occasions, in person outside. David Bowie also had a permanently dilated eye lol people thought his eyes were two different colors but they weren't. One looked darker than the other because of the dilation
I heard that his eye was damaged when a fan through a straw on the stage during a performance. I haven't checked this though. It could be rubbish! X
Emzotic I heard a friend of his was playing with a bowie knife and accidentally poked or scratched his eye with it and that's how he got his name but I don't think that's true lol Im not sure how it really happened but the stories are interesting haha

Hello, what are your thoughts on hunting, killing deers, I don't agree with it. Bcs long times from now, some thing will over power us. Like we did to the animals. Animals are everything to me💞 and for people to take on if their lifes. I understand if you need food, but I don't agree for a hobby.

When i was in 5th grade we pulled aprt owl pellets( owls est there prey whole then cough up the bonesnand fyr to make a pellet) my teacher let us take them home lets just say my mom was not a fan of seing animal bones

Wow! Em is really cute but Mooi is just incredibly beautiful and SOOOOOO enchanting. I'm closing in on 65 now but, even as a child, I've always been fascinated with hawks, falcons, eagles, kites and most predatory birds. Naturally my favorites are owls...ALL VERSIONS of owls :) I've never seen one up-close but I'd love to! They just seem to be so 'teddy bear-ish' and loveable. I'm definitely watching more of these videos and, hopefully, learn more and more about these regal and majestic heartbreakers :)
Oh and one other thing, owls are smart enough to go for the proper side of your neck to hit the jugular vein.
