I’m a big fan of the Eachine E010S. I’ve done a number of videos with the FrSky version. But I bought one for my dad and since he has a DX6i I bought him the Spektrum version. I expected the manual to be good enough to set it up, and if not there should be a TH-cam video right? NOPE. The printed manual was for a FrSky. I couldn’t find a TH-cam video, so I decided to make one. In this video I go through all the steps needed to the get Spektrum version of the Eachine E010S flying with a Spektrum radio.

I'm just starting to get into the world of quads. I have a DX6I I use with my RC plane so this video was highly helpful. I'm looking to get into FPV so learning how to use the 6i on a quad is a strip in the right direction. It looks like I need that little quad now.

Hey! I bought the 010s and started binding it. I cried and became ready to fire this fckng whoop. After that I did everything from this video. And now it works. I think Echine should pay you for the video.

Hello. I know this is an older video but i liked it. Thanks for posting it.I am totally new to drones and have the Boldclash B03 Pro as well as the B03. A friend who lives overseas sent me 2 transmitters that he is not using anymore.
One is a Spektrum Dx6i and the other is a Flysky FS-i6. Do you know if the two quads I mentioned will bind with these transmitters or how to bind them? I haven't been able to find information on how to do it, or unless I missed the information. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your time and any and all info you can provide. Keep up the great vids.
So it depends. You need to know what receiver the models have. If they are not marked the easiest way to tell is probably to connect to Betaflight like in this video and look at the protocol on the configuration page.

I have a problem, I know this video is older, but in my rates, if I go to max on the stick at the dx6i, it doesnt go to max it only goes half way up, i dont know what i should do now

Yep. It will be pretty much the same.
So its pretty much the the exact same procedure as with FrSky and you just have to configure everything exactly as you have to do for every other brushed micro.
+Oznerol256 no bind button like on the FrSky. And I have never had to reverse as servo or adjust the minimum throttle on any of my FrSky models.
Hello DroneRacer101, thank you very much for this Video. I have the same Setup (DX6i and Eachine E010S). I have one very big Problem. My DX6i does not connect to the E010S. I cant bind. Now I tried a lot of Things in the cleanflight but nothing works. Can you please give me your configurations?
Ports: which Serial Rx port is active? UART3?
Configuration: which receiver did you use? Serial-based receiver (speksat.....)?
Which Serial Receiver Provider did you use? SPEKTRUM1024?

So the E010 is the frsky version and the E010s is the spektrum version?
I've noticed that the throttle stick needs to be well past mid point to get this thing to hover (DX6i). I've had to bump of up the throttle midpoint and expo to get it to hover and fly at mid stick. Did you see this behavior as well ?
+Tavis Gustafson Hmm, I don’t think so. It was my dad’s I setup for him so I don’t have it any more to test.
I fixed it by adjust the rxrange in betaflight cli. Before adjusting that my ranges were from around 1200 to 1800. This by the way is the other way of fixing the won't arm issue, instead of upping the low stick threshold, you adjust your rx ranges so that low throttle actually reaches close to 1000 level.

Awesome vid and very helpful,I noticed when you move yours by hand the props don't start up,on mine if I pick up my whoop then the props start,if I hold it still the stop,but if it's not level then on side will spin,also why not run Acro,I keep reading telling not to run anything other than Acro as you pick up to many bad habits.
+mark vardy it sounds like air mode is active and motor stop is not enabled. I think it is important to know both modes. But indoors you often don't have the time to respond to things in rate mode. And the people I have heard interviewed that specialize in Tiny Whoops do the same.
