I love this build!! I wish we could build townhouses easier in The Sims 4 too because I live in a town house in real life and it’s so realistic.

I love your design. It's strange how I can't make my homes into apartments. Every time it just doesn't allow you to put more then one sim on the lot. It still acts as if it's a normal sim house. Finding the Apartment mailbox is what I think is missing but never could find it.
Thank you so much!! This actually isn't an apartment, it's just a regular home for one family that just looks like a townhouse. But if you just Google "Sims 2 Apartment Cheats" you should be able to find the cheat that you need to use to turn lots into apartment lots :)

Hahaha no worries! I definitely haven't quit the Sims 2, but I tend to go through "phases" of which Sims game I play (& tend to get obsessed with), so I just haven't felt like TS2 recently. But I will definitely get back to it at some point! ♥
Woah, how do you rotate objects at more than 45° or 90° degree angles in the Sims 2?? You did it with the armchairs in the living room, but I can't find the cheat anywhere online! :O
Yeah but it's not a cheat unfortunately, you have to install these CC OMSP type things that allows you to rotate itmes by 5° degrees :) www.thesimsresource.com/downloads/details/category/sims2-sets-objects/title/object-rotators--5-degree-angle/id/816644/
Hey, I was wondering how you managed to built a wall at the edge of the lot so it looks like the two houses are glued together ? My game won't allow me to build walls past a certain point :(
Hey! I use a program called LotAdjuster to change the size of Sims 2 lots, you can download it here: modthesims.info/d/384656/lotadjuster-3-6-updated-may-23-2013.html

It's what allows you to build "on the edge of the lot" like this & what makes it possible to make somewhat realistic looking townhouses! Hope it helps!

Where do you get that wall counters for the kitchen?
I have no idea who created them 😅 But there's a google doc link in the video description that lists all of the CC creator's who's stuff I use, they were from one of those creators. 😊
How did you do that with the garage? I mean the way it blends with the rest of the house
I had to use the constrain floor elevation cheat and it took a lot of fiddling to get it right, but there's a ton of tutorials on TH-cam and a great one on Mod The Sims as well 😄 Just google "constrain floor elevation tutorial sims 2" ❤️

WOW! Its soo cute and will fit perfectly in my hood! Thanks! But.. do we need to download the cc or can we download it without cc and the house still has it?
Thank you! If you download the house, the CC will download with it, so if you don't want the CC, you can just delete it, but then the house will basically be completely empty & won't even have windows 😅

still don't know how to place windows
do the arrows need to point inside or outside the house
if it's inside then i have been doing everything wrong in my life, because doors need to be placed pointing outside
also what are the windows mods? lafenetre or something send help
I don't know of any specific window mods, but all of the mods & cheats I used to build are in the "Custom Content Master List" that's linked in the description. Also, it doesn't really matter which ways the arrows point on windows. Some of the windows just look a bit different depending on which side you're looking at. ♥
when i dl stuff for th sims 2 , they can be read by the game😭 like bed bathroom or else and keep crashing become error object what should i do?
Hey! I have no idea...I'm still fairly new to using CC for the Sims 2 myself, so I'm not the best person to ask about that. You should try posting on Mod The Sims, there's a ton of great people on there who know way more about the game than I do and who might be able to help you ♥

So there’s a mystery board game called cluedo and there’s a house outline and you need to find the murderer, I love building houses in the sims and I love making sims so I’m building the house that’s in that board game, so not do this it’s very hard 🤯
I've never tried building that house, but I bet it would be hard getting it to work out in the Sims! Good luck with it!

Do you mean having them place on quarter tiles? You have to make sure you have "boolprop testtingcheatsenabled true" on and then use the "setquartertileplacement on" cheat. After you've entered it you can press Ctrl + F to turn quarter tile placement on and off. Hope this helps! ♥

Do you mean in the downloaded build or when you try to build your own home with a garage like this? Because I playtested this garage & it seems to work in my game 🤔
Can someone tell me all the cheats she uses
Here's all of the cheats I use :)
~ boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true - You need this to get all of the other ones to work.
~ boolProp snapObjectsToGrid true/false - To stop items from snapping to the grid.
~ boolProp allow45DegreeAngleOfRotation true/false - To get items to rotate by 45 degrees instead of just 90.
~ moveObjects on/off - To allow items to place items closer to each other and intersecting.
