Aryna is not Nole, but she is a talented player: Iga Swiatek also loses when under pressure, but it is something that can be improved.
Sabalenka is a beast. Her biggest strength is her ability to play long balls I think. It makes so much of her winning games

How coco played phenomenally ? Her serve was bad. 9 double faults. Same in previous match against Kostyuk who break her 7 times during the match. Sabalenka was much better in this match, she lost focus in 1st set when leading 5:2 but when tie-break started she had full control over Gauff. Gauff in 2nd set wasn't even close to break her and with such bad serve it was matter of the time she lost her serve. Great revenge for USO lost by Sabalenka, where Gauff get back in 2nd set at USO, but here in 2nd set she was fully dominated.
Sadly I agree. Coco literally didn't have a serve lol. Yet, she was (for now) the only rival to make some trouble to Sabalenka, which is amazing considering she played with any consistency at serving. @@piqo44

At 1:53 Sabalenka returns a serve and only screams when the ball is already on Gauff's side! Really unfair. I've seen Sabalenka's interviews and she seems really nice, but after watching the first point of this I started rooting for Gauff.

Coco was just 2 points away from taking that first set. Great resilience from Sabalenka! She's been phenomenal all tournament
Saba should have won 2/3 more Grand Slams by now and she knows it, especially that final that she lost against Coco. With her quality and weapons, she can't be losing matches and certainly not finals against a player of Coco's level.
Her serve and shaky confidence have cost her many titles already. She needs to WIN and get on a roll.

She get more help from organizers. Swiatek-Ostapenko was played as late as possible and Ostapenko - Gauff as early as possible. It was sure that whoever will play with Gauff quarterfinal won't get enough rest. And thats exactly what happened, Ostapenko was able to win just 2 gems against Gauff. The same Ostapenko who won 3 setter against Swiatek and who won later against Pegula at China Open.
@@piqo44 absolutely agree! Gauff and Pegula have many privileges from WTA, because they are from USA I think..Let’s just remember ridiculous WTA 1000 in Montreal, where Samsonova played semifinal with Rybakina at 11 am and final with Pegula at 4 pm…

W tym momencie Sabalenka jest najlepsza i to jej należy się 1. Jeśli będzie grać na takiej intensywności przez cały sezon to wygra w tym roku wszystkie szlemy
O byciu numerem jeden na szczęście nie decyduje jeden turniej. Tu miała bardzo łatwą drabinkę, więc ciężko żeby nie wygrała. Szlemy to nie wszystko. Nawet jeśli w ubiegłym roku zachodziła przynajmniej do półfinału każdego z nich, tak w ciągu całego roku, obiektywnie patrząc Iga była lepsza. Reasumując, nawet jeśli dokładnie w tym momencie gra najlepiej, jedynka jej się za to nie należy.

W Roland Garros faworytką będzie mimo wszystko Iga. W Wimbledonie ani Iga ani Sabalenka moim zdaniem nie są faworytkami. W US Open Sabalenka znowu będzie pewnie faworytką o ile utrzyma formę. Gauff was just scrambling throughout the match to keep the ball in play. She was totally overpowered. She was even knocked off her feet a couple of times by the power of Sabalenkas groundstrokes.

Don't let the scoreline fool you this was a phenomenal match. If gauff didn't serve 5 double faults this would have gone 3 sets minimum. Congrats to sabalenka she came through her first real test. Now let's just hope she's there mentally, she hasn't won a title in nearly a year, and that us open loss is surely in the back of her head somewhere. Zheng has looked good but I'm not sure she's grand slam winning good, at least right now. But if she at least pushes sabalenka to the brink that will surely be a sign of things to come. Let's see how they both deal with the pressure on saturday.

Нет не догадываемся.Всем американкам в турнирах помогают организаторы.Так же Арина проиграла Коко потому что накал игры был 100%в пользу Коко.Весь стадион кричал.Расписание игр была для нее построено.Отдых и восстановление для спортсмена-это все.Поэтому пока все спортсменки будут совершенствоваться Арина будет убегать все дальше а Коко будут догонять более молодые такие как Андреева.Понятно???😅

I have not watched the whole match just this highlight, tbh there were no varieties from Gauff, each time she seems to play the ball back to Sabalenka's comfortable hands only to then receive a killer strike back, time and time again. Let's see what's gonna happen in the final🎉

I think she was playing defensively and hoping it would work like at Flushing Meadows but it didn't and she didn't adapt or change anything really.

Look I know it’s annoying but it is allowed, we had Serena, Azarenka, Sharapova all world no.1 and screamers, until it is not allowed, she then does nothing wrong
Well she's for sure doing something which is not allowed. Her grunting lasts until the other player hits the ball (she sometimes even grunts after hitting the ball not while hitting), which should be considered hindrance. Neither of the players you list had such long grunts.
@@anfevepa it must be the advice of her trainers, to distract the opponent. Because it does not seem to be necessary as we see in most players, male - female who dont grunt at all. If they would give penalty points for that, she would stop immediately, i'm sure. Its a pity, as I don't watch her anymore. Turning down the volume
is a pity too as I like the atmosphere of a stadium.

As an Iga fan, i start to warm up to Aryna. She's clearly proving herself to be best hardcourter on tour and 2nd best overall player after Iga.
